Used Toyota Sienna for sale near Holiday Hills, IL under $30,000

The overall experience was nice. The sales associate was nice. But when I got home and lifted the hood. I realized I immediately needed new filters, new oil. Top of the antifreeze the windshield wiper fluid was empty. Everything was good until then. Then I was just irritated and realized I was going to be paying a few hundred dollars to get everything up to par.

I bought mine used in 2019 with 22,000 miles on it. I'm now over 107,000 miles with no real problems. I've only done routine maintenance and it still drives a smooth gist as it did when I bought it and wouldn't have one hesitation driving it long distance anywhere. I've recently had the check engine light come on and it shows trac off, but I don't believe it's anything more than a sensor. Overall it holds up to the Toyota reputation of reliability, so much so that my wife winded up trading her dream Jeep Gladiator in for a Toyota 4Runner and hasn't looked back.

I owned a 2014 sienna limited premium and was the best vehicle I have ever owned in my 50 years of driving, owning 16 different cars, Suvs and Vans. I purchased a 2017 Toyota Sienna Limited Premium AWD and I like it but I don't like the way it shifts, its very jerky. I did get a computer engine software update that helped very much. The engine having 40 more horse power would make me think that it would have tremendous power compaired to my 2014, but it did not. So it purchased a what call (chip your car) that connects under the dash to get more refindment in the performace, to unleash the filtered performance and it did. What a difference in performance. I purchaced the chip for 150.00 and its worth every penny. I am a performance guy especially when driving a nice van. So with the Toyota Software upgrade and my computer chip upgrade now we have a nice performace running van which my 2014 had also.

Everyone was very friendly. The car buying process was smooth, and completely pressure-free. The sales team wasn’t pushy at all, which made the experience so much better. They also had a great selection of cars to choose from. Highly recommend.

Great reliable cars. Bought mine at over 150k miles and it still runs like a champ. Car had been maintained regularly by the previous owner which is what is necessary to prolong its life and I intend to continue doing the same.

I was very pleased with my experience. I started at CarMax to "try on" several cars from several manufacturers. The salesman (Jack) was happy to oblige, despite it being cold and rainy. We walked the lot and I sat in ~20 cars. I went home and researched them some more, scheduled a few to test drive and came back on Jack's day off. This time, I worked with Brandon for a few test drives and discussed other vehicles at nearby CarMax locations. They found a vehicle that fit my requirements and transported it in for me to test drive. A few days later, I was back for the final test drive, loved the car and purchased it. Jack and Brandon kept good communication, weren't pushy and were a pleasure to work with. The business office was quick and explained the paperwork and processes effectively. 2015 limited edition. purchased used in 2020. This is my 4th Toyota Van. 2 Previa's and 2nd Sienna. Obviously love the space, reliability, comfort and safety. Issues are: As noted in the Cars.com review, the engine is very noisy at highway speed and for some highway surfaces you may not even be able to carry a conversation with your partner sitting next to you! The Stereo isn't that great maybe due to excess outside noise or electronic interference. The Gas Door stuck closed on me. I had to pry it open, now it's loose and I have to be careful in pushing it back in place. Dealer was no help regarding a recall or warranty, and body shop was talking over $1000 to only do the paint work. I did have a fuel leak thru the rubber hose where it mates with the fuel tank that I noticed because I smelled fuel driving it from the dealer where purchased. So much for the 172 pt inspection! Problem was actually a metal rib which sits against the rubber hose and slicing thru, so I hammered the rib away from the area and put a new hose on and that fixed it. Go to the sienna forum for pictures. Also added a trailer hitch from etrailer for the occasional needs. V6 Engine itself has plenty of power and is trouble free. Overall, I love the ride, interior volume and reliability. All my garage tools are collecting dust because I don't get a chance to use them! You can put more in a minivan than in most trucks and close the rear door!

I didn't however get a heads up about an Auto Chicago charge on top of the asking price price for the car. (899) So that does bug me a little. Not sure it would have changed my mind... but just pointing it out to me would have gone a long way for me.(

This van is amazing. It was gifted to me by my grandparents with 290,000 miles on the engine. As of right now it currently has 314,000 miles. I am absolutely amazed by the integrity of this vehicle and how well it has held together over the years. Yes there are small cosmetic issues, as you would expect with a car that’s 18 years old. We chose to replace the coolant system around 300,000 miles. Minor set back, but it has run even better since then. The DVD player no longer works, but all the speakers are in fanatic condition, seats as well for the years of love, soccer games, and countless trips. This van has transported not 1 but 5 generations of family members over the years. We may look into a transmission swap- but I am honestly interested in finding out just how far this one will go. I definitely will only be purchasing siennas from here on out, as this one has proven that with proper maintenance, they will continue to thrive well after 300,000 miles.

This vehicle has been extremely reliable and fits my needs for hauling lots of cargo and pulling a utility trailer. The engine has great power and the interior comfort if excellent. It make long trips very comfortable. It is the main reason why we purchased a second Sienna, 2021 XLE AWD.

The 3.3 liter V6 is under powered especially if you carry six passengers. Had to replace a catalytic converter at 132,000 miles code po420 bank 2. a disappointment. The engine is basically a Camry engine. Toyota should of put a larger displacement engine in this van.

Own a 2004 with over 330,000 miles. It just keeps running. As a landlord, I use it somewhat like a truck, it holds tools in the rear. Can transport 4x8 sheets of drywall and plywood with some shuffling. Hauled 1200 lbs of concrete bags behind the front row seats many times. I use the 3rd row for passengers. Have removed the second row and never replaced them. Change the oil every 5Kmi because that interval is easy to remember. And the typical timing belt and water pump (while exposed) every 100K. Just let the dealer do the brakes, they last years and don't wobble. Of course the automatic doors gave out at 200K, but you kind of expect that. They still work manually. A few strange items like a steering rack at 150K and vent window hinge gave out around then. And the drivers seat heater gave up. The problem is that this van is so good, I really hate to replace it. It's a good problem to have. I'm not hauling concrete in a brand new $50,000 Sienna.

I put 4 stars for comfort bc I bought a 2016 xle in late 2021. The pleather seats were in rough shape and had a lot of cracks and splits. Idk if that may be because the previous owner never took care of the seats or that's all the life you'll get from them.

Best performing minivan on the market. Very roomy and quiet. Seems sportier than both Honda and Kia. Only wish it had full stow n go like the Chryslers.

Well it fits all 7 members of my family. Has pretty good gas mileage. It is comfortable and doesn't take 3 years to get up to 35-40 miles per hour.

My Sienna XLE is a 2018 Braunability handicap van with the 285 hp V6. I bought it new, it has 40k miles. I’ve serviced by the book, replaced battery this year, put one set of tires on it, and have driven it like I stole it. It’s never missed a beat, is comfortable, durable, dependable, averages 19 mpg on short runs of 15-25 miles. To my dismay, Toyota Sienna’s are only available after 2020 with the 245 ho 4 cylinder hybrid. I may be forced to buy a 4 cylinder Sienna, but I sure don’t want to. Don’t like the looks of the Honda, Pacifica, or others.🥴🥲
