This Tacoma X-Runner meets all my needs. Fairly easy to park compared to full size Trucks. Good performance but needs several upgrades to meet Today's standards. Like: Cold-Air Intake, Headers. Better Brakes Upgrades, 1" Lowered Suspension, TRD Quick Shifter, Energy Suspension Sway Bar Bushings - (front and rear), Wider Wheels & Tires, URD"s Mas Air Calibrator( for better air/fuel ratio), Leather Seat Covers. After that you have a Great Truck. This is the Upgrades I have done and really have a better all around Toyota Tacoma X-Runner.

So far I am very pleased with my Toyota Tacoma, it is more than I expected and the biggest surprise is the low interior noise and the smooth ride. I was able to go down to south Florida (Pembroke Pine area with my three kid and they enjoyed the ride. Every time we are going some where they want me to take the Tacoma instead of my wife Honda mini van.

Purchased this truck for it's reliablity.Opted for a SR5 trim because it's not lifted nor branded with stickers. Have 44-k miles now. No issues. Just scheduled factory maintenance. I plan to run this truck well over 300-k miles. Is it perfect? No. The engine is somewhat lack luster, the gas milesage is just okay and the interior is somewhat small compared to a full size truck. however,However, I trust this truck to serve me well into the future without any major issues.

Purchased this truck new ten years ago, four door, six foot bed, towing package- fuel mileage is not the best (16mpg avg) due to the towing gear ratio, however I tow a lot of boats up to 22 feet and have never had a problem. Currently have 80,000 miles with only routine manufacturer recommended maintenance. Only negative, my wife finds the truck too long (19 feet) for the mall parking spaces.

I had a good experience. Traded in my old car and bought a used Honda. Been driving it for around two years no problem. Big fan of CarMax.

For a non full size pickup it seems pricey, but then again full size truck prices are ridiculous. The interior is really nice, spacious and well built. The truck handles incredibly well, and the 4 cylinder turbo has plenty of power. I was impressed with it's 6,000+ towing power. The exterior is mean looking and looks great heading down the road. I bought a SR model because I need a truck, not something full of options. The only downside is the box is smaller and holds a lot less than a full size and the Toyota sense safety is a bit much. I know it's there for a reason but it can be confusing.

New owner of a 2024 Limited, extremely happy with the driving comfort, even though it does have a restricted leg room in the backseat which seldom is used. Upgraded technology inside the cabin with the 14 inch screen and the dial controls for the radio four-wheel-drive and HVAC controls. I really like the spray in bedliner power tailgate the exterior bed lights and the power steps also the rear sliding power window. my fuel economy is about 22 miles per the gallon but as of now it’s only got 1000 miles on it so I’m anticipating that to improve as the engine gets broken in. I do find that the standard turbo four-cylinder makes a slight rumble going uphill, but I have ordered a sound attenuation pad for under the hood and that should eliminate that. I find the driver in passenger seats to be equally comfortable with good bolstering as well as a lumbar support system that is four ways. I was a previous owner of a Ford F150 and a Dodge Ram 1500, but I wanted a pick up truck that would fit in my garage. Having have been a previous Toyota owner, I am looking forward to many years of problem free concerns based on the high-quality of Toyota and also the ACSI rating number of 83.

The Tacoma I have is a 2008 purchased it new 150,000 mile run like a top Love it!Will purchase a Toyota next time!Have had Toyota for the last 40 years.

I owned a 2015 Lexus Nx200t and wasn't really thinking about buying a car yet but stopped by as I saw some newer Lexus Nx on their lot. I went in and spoke to Trish. This vehicle seems to be an outstanding vehicle for its class. The only reason that I'm not giving it five stars for comfort is that it rides like a truck -- which is what its supposed to be, but quite comfortable for a truck. The other four star rating I gave it was because it was not available with a manual transmission. Again, it's a truck, not a car and trucks, as working vehicles should be available with a manual transmission -- but people today don't want to actually have to DRIVE a vehicl.

The whole process went very smooth because of the professionalism of the agent…. I highly recommend the place to get new car.

Great experience so far with the Tacoma. Have loved the ride and comfort it provides, with the only negative so far being some of the quality of the interior isn’t the greatest. The door panels specifically are loose feeling on the handles, seems cheap for a $55k truck.

I bought this truck new after major styling change in Tacomas and traded in a 2008 Tacoma SR 5 and getting back 88% of what I paid for new in 2008. I've had no problems with this 2016 so far and never did with 2008 except fir window washer issue.

The staff was vey helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. They made the experience more bearable. I also had the luxury of using a loaner car which was similar to mine, a nice gesture

In the hills of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia or anywhere there’s a big hill/mountain do not expect engine performance. It’s get up and go is gone!

I love my Tacoma. I've always been a GMC person, but wasn't happy with their smaller pickup options. I made the jump to a Tacoma and I've already driven it across the country. I was very comfortable, extremely happy with performance.

Truck was a champ. Mileage slightly less than advertised but still decent. Felt like sitting in a lifted car but was smooth on oilfield goat trails and held up real well saving gas compared to other full-size trucks. I think the fake hood scoop was xxxxxxxx but otherwise a great truck. 4x4 in mud snow and icy roads was excellent. Real reliable truck.

Excellent truck, Tacoma's are great for everyday use and great in snow. Fun to drive, reliable, cost effective, well made, visually appealing, long lasting, great product for the price.

I had service on my Lexus and was treated very well by David Gesler,assistant service manager. He handled my requests with kindness and caring. Very understanding of my situation. A true asset to Lexus.

The Gen 4 Tacoma is very nice. There are a few issues that Toyota should have never allowed. First, as in the Gen 3, the drivers side assist handle is missing. That is a nice feature that should be in the truck. Second, the glove box door looseness is an embarrassment. It is disgustingly loose. I was able to buy some inserts online for $11. Toyota ought to be doing that for all the trucks. Third, the electronic stuff is WAY WAY WAY overboard. Way too much and way to confusing and way to difficult to shut off and keep off. I want a truck I can drive, not wrestle with the electronics. The notion of not being able to buy desired options is terrible. I do not need a power tailgate and inability to open the tail gate without a key. Either pay $4000 for some thinks you want or pay $8000 to get lots of stuff you don't want just to get 1 or 2 things you do want. The electronic dashboard is way overboard. Another 'feature' that is way overboard and can not be simplified. This is a truck, how about some analog gauges? The good part is the ride is amazingly solid and smooth, performance is pretty snappy for a relatively heavy vehicle and I expect Toyota longevity. Overall, the basic truck is nice, but the extra stuff is unwanted, unnecessary and adds complexity that is not desired

Overall the Tacoma is built like a TANK! I chose the 4 cyl 2.7L and it does perform amazingly well for such a large truck, I think the ride is good but of course it's a truck so it is a bit bumpy, expected because it is made to go off road when necessary. The only thing I would change on this truck is to have 4 wheel disk brakes it would change the trucks handling and feel enormously, with the disk front - drum rear in stock form the pedal feel is annoying and spongy, which makes the front end dive if you really have to haul your speed down quickly and that effects the overall handling a lot! The resale value is insane!

I bought my 2017 in spring of 2020 with 27k miles for $27k. I was specifically looking for a TRD Sport, manual trans. The Tacoma is the only manual trans truck produced anymore. I currently have 80k miles on it now and the blue book still shows it at $23k-$24k. I have not had any issues with it. I have done my own maintenance (oil changes and just recently front brake pads). The 2017 was the last year before they added all the safety stuff with the cruise controls. I'm glad I don't have that stuff. I also have the map system in my factory head unit and don't have to rely on the Apple carplay or Android auto apps. There was some discomfort in the seat. It was easily resolved with items that can be purchased to adjust the seat to your liking. There are a lot of complaints on the power and fuel mileage. Really?? Its a truck. Its not a sports car or compact sedan. Its not going to get the greatest mileage or set land speed records. If you want something that always starts, never leaves you stranded, and you can count on everyday, this is the one. If you want something that you want to spend a bunch of money repairing, you may want to look elsewhere.

After weeks of searching for the right car. I just purchased my 2018 Volvo XC90 with Jordan and he was phenomenal. He was very understanding and handled our concerns with ease. I love my Tacoma 4x4 , I have over 208,000,000 miles on it. Great performance and pulling power up and down the mountains of Colorado often towing a trailer. Something alot of owners don't think about is the paint job, after all these years it still has a new car shine on it . Some cars with a whole lot less years maybe rusted out or clear coat is peeling. Not mine. Of course we have to mention the reliability of this Truck. Its a Toyota! Never had any major issues ,just basic maintenance, oil changes,brakes, filters. 6-16-23. I am having issues with my (a/c heater) blower knob, it's been hard to turn but still works along with the air conditioner. The interior is OK. It's a truck, the upholstery is still holding up good a little dirty but still very much intact. If Toyota would only realize that we like to drink larger cups then the cup holders the give us ( one of the few things I don't like about it) Lots of foot room for my 6'2" frame. The bed is small for carrying long items so probably not for the full time contractor. But gets the job done if you know how to pack. I'm very satisfied with my purchase made many years ago and how well the resale value has held up compared to other vehicles.
