I bought my 2017 in spring of 2020 with 27k miles for $27k. I was specifically looking for a TRD Sport, manual trans. The Tacoma is the only manual trans truck produced anymore. I currently have 80k miles on it now and the blue book still shows it at $23k-$24k. I have not had any issues with it. I have done my own maintenance (oil changes and just recently front brake pads). The 2017 was the last year before they added all the safety stuff with the cruise controls. I'm glad I don't have that stuff. I also have the map system in my factory head unit and don't have to rely on the Apple carplay or Android auto apps. There was some discomfort in the seat. It was easily resolved with items that can be purchased to adjust the seat to your liking. There are a lot of complaints on the power and fuel mileage. Really?? Its a truck. Its not a sports car or compact sedan. Its not going to get the greatest mileage or set land speed records. If you want something that always starts, never leaves you stranded, and you can count on everyday, this is the one. If you want something that you want to spend a bunch of money repairing, you may want to look elsewhere.

This has been the best car buying experience I've ever had in my life. No haggle prices everything is in black and white inspections are already done, the friendliest staff and owners I've ever came across. We definitely recommend them to everyone!!!!!

I have 89,000 miles on my 2017 Tacoma SR. It has been a great truck except for a couple small issues and one larger issue. The big problem started 3 months ago when the AC compressor started seizing up. Took it to the Toyota dealer for service. I have been waiting on an OEM compressor for over 3 months. Unable to get one even though I had to pay $1000.00 dollars up front to the dealer before they would order it.

I bought a 2019 Tacoma with 89k. So far performance is fantastic and can definitely experience the quality build. This has made me skeptical of the reviews about poor engine build and transmission problems like hunting for gears. Can't pretty much dispel the proven track record of the 2019 as one of Toyota best build of the year. As for the transmission, it is still the best performing and reliable 6 speed transmission as compared to the other brands with high failure rates. One of the reason I stick with Toyota because I once had another brand manufacturer bought new and as soon as it hit over 100k, transmission problems or some solenoid problem. As for the engine, the dealer even included a lifetime engine warranty. That just tells me, they never expect the engine to fail. the review with the engine knocking sounds like an another brand car. it just doesn't happen to a toyota.

Communicated with John Leno from the Schaumburg facility online. John understood my needs and responded quickly with Jeeps to review - after a bit of humming and hawing on my part, I changed my mind to trucks. I found a truck at another facility, John had it tranferred and within 2 days my soon to be truck arrived - and it is a beauty. John was training Matt and they both demonstrated immense knowledge throughout the interaction and I appreciated the ease of communication (not pushy). I cannot comment on the financing portion of the transaction, but closing went just as smoothly with Hubert and his supervisor. WHile impressed with my transaction I was also impressed with the amount of time that was placed on the training of new employees, or employees transferring. While yes my truck need a repair on the fog lights, it is covered under their warranty, I am highly impressed with my experience. From walking in the front door, to having John take my picture of me and my truck with a giant yellow ribbon... every individual at Carmax truly made the buying and trading experience a wonderful experience. My 2010 had 317,000 miles when I bought my 2021. I absolutely love the changes that toyota has made. My 2021 is a perfect truck for comfort and reliability.

This vehicle seems to be an outstanding vehicle for its class. The only reason that I'm not giving it five stars for comfort is that it rides like a truck -- which is what its supposed to be, but quite comfortable for a truck. The other four star rating I gave it was because it was not available with a manual transmission. Again, it's a truck, not a car and trucks, as working vehicles should be available with a manual transmission -- but people today don't want to actually have to DRIVE a vehicl.

A friend recommended Chignoli to me for a used car. He has bought all his cars from them for decades. Now, I plan to buy all my cars from them from now on. They don't push you to buy. They ask what you are looking for, and your price range. They listen. Then, if they don't have it on the lot, they go hunting for what you want. They won't sell you a cheap lemon. And they offer a solid warranty. Our family bought two used cars from them in the past two years. Both run great. We couldn't be happier.

For a non full size pickup it seems pricey, but then again full size truck prices are ridiculous. The interior is really nice, spacious and well built. The truck handles incredibly well, and the 4 cylinder turbo has plenty of power. I was impressed with it's 6,000+ towing power. The exterior is mean looking and looks great heading down the road. I bought a SR model because I need a truck, not something full of options. The only downside is the box is smaller and holds a lot less than a full size and the Toyota sense safety is a bit much. I know it's there for a reason but it can be confusing.

They called promptly and gave me information about the car but unfortunately this car wasn't eligible for a tax credit.

This vehicle met all my work and play needs. It has been comfortable, reliable, and capable. It has plenty of room for family and friends.

I fit real well in this truck . I like the gas mileage and it is awesome. The color fits me and l like 4 wheel drive. The truck works good in the snow and handles extremely well.

An overall great service experience when ever my out of warranty Lexus needs service. Comfortable and clean lounge areas with plush chairs for waiting and plenty of connections for laptops or phones if you need to do some work while waiting. I always work with Darryl who does an exceptional job for me. He’s very professional as well as being personable. This truck gets crappy gas mileage. Supposed to get 16 mpg city 24 mpg hwy but really only gets about 12-14 mpg in city and 18 to 20 mpg on hwy with crappy ethanol gas. When I was using no ethanol gas in great state of FL I was getting 16 to 18 mpg in city and 22 to 24 mpg on hwy. But I am now in CA so I am getting crappy mpg. I will be moving back to FL in a year.

New owner of a 2024 Limited, extremely happy with the driving comfort, even though it does have a restricted leg room in the backseat which seldom is used. Upgraded technology inside the cabin with the 14 inch screen and the dial controls for the radio four-wheel-drive and HVAC controls. I really like the spray in bedliner power tailgate the exterior bed lights and the power steps also the rear sliding power window. my fuel economy is about 22 miles per the gallon but as of now it’s only got 1000 miles on it so I’m anticipating that to improve as the engine gets broken in. I do find that the standard turbo four-cylinder makes a slight rumble going uphill, but I have ordered a sound attenuation pad for under the hood and that should eliminate that. I find the driver in passenger seats to be equally comfortable with good bolstering as well as a lumbar support system that is four ways. I was a previous owner of a Ford F150 and a Dodge Ram 1500, but I wanted a pick up truck that would fit in my garage. Having have been a previous Toyota owner, I am looking forward to many years of problem free concerns based on the high-quality of Toyota and also the ACSI rating number of 83.

I don't intend to drive anything else unless They get so expensive, I can't afford it, or they quit making them. High mileage with low cost and no problems.

So far I am very pleased with my Toyota Tacoma, it is more than I expected and the biggest surprise is the low interior noise and the smooth ride. I was able to go down to south Florida (Pembroke Pine area with my three kid and they enjoyed the ride. Every time we are going some where they want me to take the Tacoma instead of my wife Honda mini van.

Great experience so far with the Tacoma. Have loved the ride and comfort it provides, with the only negative so far being some of the quality of the interior isn’t the greatest. The door panels specifically are loose feeling on the handles, seems cheap for a $55k truck.

After 15 years with my previous Tacoma TRD Offroad, I bought the same vehicle to replace it. I really wasn't ready to replace it but the 24's don't excite me with the 4 cylinder turbo and I figured the longer I wait, the harder it would be to find a discontinued 6 cylinder in new condition. I got lucky and found a 3 month old 23 with 1,400 miles on it. I think Toyota screwed up with the 24 models, they cheapened them in many ways, crap engine, thinner frame, less underbody protection. Basically, they made them for people who don't want or need a truck but like the image.

I love my Tacoma 4x4 , I have over 208,000,000 miles on it. Great performance and pulling power up and down the mountains of Colorado often towing a trailer. Something alot of owners don't think about is the paint job, after all these years it still has a new car shine on it . Some cars with a whole lot less years maybe rusted out or clear coat is peeling. Not mine. Of course we have to mention the reliability of this Truck. Its a Toyota! Never had any major issues ,just basic maintenance, oil changes,brakes, filters. 6-16-23. I am having issues with my (a/c heater) blower knob, it's been hard to turn but still works along with the air conditioner. The interior is OK. It's a truck, the upholstery is still holding up good a little dirty but still very much intact. If Toyota would only realize that we like to drink larger cups then the cup holders the give us ( one of the few things I don't like about it) Lots of foot room for my 6'2" frame. The bed is small for carrying long items so probably not for the full time contractor. But gets the job done if you know how to pack. I'm very satisfied with my purchase made many years ago and how well the resale value has held up compared to other vehicles.
