I live in Sioux Falls and recently purchased a 2022 Toyota Highlander from Walser. I had never purchased a vehicle before that I had not seen or driven. I had all the major USA manufacturers of 1/2 ton trucks, they were all junk. Rust was a huge problem, granted I live in the rust belt, but my Ram truck was rusting before the first 4 years of it's life with body rot, but because that rot didn't go all the way through the warranty would not cover it, it eventually did rot through about a year after the warranty expired; the Ford the frame rotted the worse followed by the body, the frame got so bad in just 10 years the vehicle had to be junked; the Chevy had a lot of body rot too but started about 4 years after the Ram did; all their transmissions failed within 110,000 miles. Numerous repairs starting about 60,000 miles. Now the my 5.7 flex fuel double cab Tundra SR5 4X4 is 15 years old and not a spot of rust, it has 118,000 miles and not one single repair. Maintenance cost about $340 a year for 2 oil changes and whatever other maintenance stuff comes up due to the mileage. It is the most comfortable riding truck I've ever owned but in all fairness all trucks have been improving their ride quality over the years. Performance is the best of any truck I've had by a lot; the MPG is also better than any truck I had before, my worse MPG I had was the Ford that got 6 mpg towing, otherwise it was 10 in the city and 14 on the highway, the Tundra in comparison gets 12 while towing, 16 in the city and 20 to 21 highway. The SR5 is a pretty much a basic pickup with very little in options, so the interior is not grandiose, but it's a truck not a limousine! The radio/CD player and speakers are also just the base stuff, so the sound is ok. Even though the interior is the low end stuff it's holding up extremely well, there is no wear showing on the seats or anywhere else. The exterior trim parts are all holding up extremely well. While Toyota Tundra does cost more in the used market, and that's because of their known reliability, it is more than worth the extra price I had to pay, it also means that if I sell the truck I'll get more for it. I use the truck for my business, and for hauling my RV trailer, and my friend's boat when we go fishing.

I purchased a 2025 Limited about two months ago and it drives so much better than my last truck. The gas mileage is not what is advertised but I still love it

I would recommend this Truck ONLY after fixing the ongoing problems with the ball joints! I have taken this truck where four wheelers dare to go! Good ground clearance! 👍

Would buy another one if it was as good as the one I have.... great truck and all the power you could want.. will pull any load and fuel mileage isn't bad for it being a V8...14.9 to 15.7

I’ve had no issues with the truck. The interior is nice. Good sound system and comfortable seats. The gas mileage isn’t too bad in my experience. I’m at and average of 17mpg and I drive it in an area with heavy traffic.

Toyota might be behind on tech, but they’re reliable and for a work truck that’s all I need. Yeah it’s bad on fuel, yeah it’s not buttery smooth ride quality. However, all I need is for it to start in the morning and get me to all my job sites carrying a load of people and all my gear. Perfect vehicle!

Totally brand new truck from Toyota, built from the ground up. New design. No more V8, which is a mistake by Toyota. New 3.4L V6 TWIN-TURBOS has very good power. 10 spd drive-train, DOHC. Rear window is a power window. Good seating comfort & lots of room for 5 people. My purchase is a 2025 TUNDRA SR5 CREWMAX 4X4 3.4L V6 TWIN-TURBO.

I purchased a 2022 Tundra SR5 with the TRD off road package. BEST truck ever! Great power and gas mileage (22.5) on the highway. I just went over 52k miles and have loved every mile!
