I purchased this 2010 TOYOTA Yaris with a five speed
I purchased this 2010 TOYOTA Yaris with a five speed manual transmission in 2010 with 7 miles on it. It is now 2025 my Yaris had it's 15th birthday back in April. Tires, brakes changed at 50k. Water pump and serpentine belt (preventive maintenance) at 90k. Tires, brakes changed @ 100k. Clutch replacement @ 110k. If you are cognizant of your driving habits you can obtain over 40 mpg easily. I am looking forward to obtaining at least 5 to 10 more years of driving pleasure seeing how I have only 123k original miles on the vehicle.

It was perfect, just as it should be for any and all dealers whether you’re looking to buy a new or used car. I also appreciate the information they gave me about the car and its previous services, it made me confident in making the purchase rather than worrying what conditions the car was going to be in after a few months. 2003 LE with 102,700 miles. To get 30+ mpg on a 22 year old naturally aspirated motor is nuts! This is as simple as it gets. 95% of what would ever need to be done to keep this on the road I can do in my own garage, and I'm not even a certified mechanic. Still modern enough looking to blend in, peppy enough to keep up, and she'll give you way more bang for your buck than anything new. Just a reliable no nonsense A to B car that after 2 decades is still highly sought after. The key is to find one with a VIN# that starts with a "J" because those were made in Japan! The ones that weren't tend to have the rare little issues that bring her ratings down.
