Great experience with Nine Stars Auto. I recommend calling ahead for a test drive as some cars are kept inside. It gives them time to pull the car out and get it ready for you. PJ was awesome when we arrived and quickly brought us the keys. We did a quick test drive but no time limit was mentioned. We had all of our questions answered and never felt at all pressured to buy. Once we sat down to do the paperwork it was a very quick process and I was out the door with the keys to my Polestar 2. I’ve had zero issues with the car. It charges perfectly and easily paired with my phone. This was my first used car buying experience and it was great.

First things first, this car cost under $20k new so keep that in mind as I write the pros and cons. For starters, this car gets excellent fuel mileage. 50 MPG! That is, if you don't drive like a maniac and frequently stop. On the highway you're looking at maybe 43 mpg on average. This is also a very reliable car, I've owned mine for five years and only ever done oil changes and she keeps running. This car is also very small, which is either a pro or con depending on the person you talk to. It's great for city driving, but not so much rural or even urban. The Prius c is also PAINFULLY slow. I'm pretty sure an 80s civic could beat this thing in first gear, that's how slow it is. However, because this car is so small and weighs just under 2500 lbs, it turns exceptionally well in the corners. Then there is that dreaded cvt whine that you'll be hearing time and time again if you ever want to go faster than 30 mph. The interior of the car is also very bland and filled with a LOT of plastic. Virtually everything you can touch inside the car is made of plastic, excluding the seats of course. The inside space is also very tight for anyone taller than 5'10". The seats are somewhat comfortable and are very durable but at the same time are prone to stains. What really is disappointing is the fact that there is a ton of road noise in this car. Once you pass the 35 mph threshold the only thing you'll be hearing is wind noise. So much so that even listening to music in the car becomes problematic. All in all this is a fantastic car... If you live in the city or any other small district where parking is scarce and the streets are narrow. You can make do with all the faults of this car for the sake of the mpg, but personally I don't think it outweighs the cons. I've had this car for five years now and while it has never failed me I would not keep this vehicle around for much longer. That's not to say that it's a ticking time bomb, it's just not the car for me anymore.

The first-gen RAV4 is such an amazing car all-around. I've got a 2000, white, cosmetically modified. It's very sluggish, but it's not meant to be quick. If you want a quick first-gen, swap a 3S-GTE in, easy. The 3S-FE that came with these things was bulletproof. Only had to change the water pump and a few metal & rubber odds and ends so far due to my specific car sitting and aging from the previous owners. AMAZING car.

This car checks nearly all the boxes for a great first car. Mine has seen periods of being absolutely babied and periods of being absolutely thrashed and stays strong through both. This was my first car I've had since I was 15, and now I'm 17 and I still absolutely love this thing. It's probably one of the most practical cars you can buy in the US, the seats fold down, it has plenty of space, and overall tons of quality of life features, and it does all this while being very compact, I've parked next to some of the newer Mini coopers to find out they're about the same size. Great for people who love the outdoors since it comes with 4wd, but even my fwd model can hold its own on the dirt, mine is 150k miles going strong with absolutely ZERO issues. The car is amazingly easy to drive yet not at the sacrifice of fun, as you'll be surprised to see how quick it can move as it shares an engine with a Scion sports coupe. While the interior shows it's age, if you're like me and don't want an ipad as your center console it's quite nice, but even for the time it was rather just on par, as this isn't a luxury vehicle by any means. The stiffness of the suspension will also reflect that as it can be a little bit of a rough ride at times. But despite those issues, this car do about it all and I'm proud to say I will own this car for a whole lot of time to come.

I purchased a 2006 brand new. I fell in love with it. Everything was perfect until now. I haven't been able to drive for a couple of years so it stays parked. I learned that if you don't put some use to it and just keep it parked, you will discover problems which are more my fault. I never had any problems until I got sick and stopped driving. I refuse to let my car go because I plan to drive again and it's the most reliable, quiet and comfortable ride. When I would give others a ride, they loved it! I've owned dozens and dozens of car and this one has impressed me the most. Tons of power from the V6, typical Toyota reliability, very ergonomic, and very capable. I've hauled weight in this thing that would rival any truck and pulled a trailer that was double it's load rating. Pros: *Absolutely reliable. *Huge trunk for a convertible, especially with the top down vs. other cars. * Looks have held up very well. * Decent highway mileage. * SLE has heated seats, cruise control, etc. Cons: None. Buying a used SLE today and then spending an extra ~$1000 to put in a very good audio/nav system with android auto/Carplay, review camera would make for a terrific car.
