I bought this car used with under 40,000 miles in 2014. I have been driving it ever since and currently have 272,000 miles on it. After multiple accidents and repairs it has been an extremely reliable and dependable car. Up until 250,000 I would have still driven it across multiple states. My biggest complaint is the quality of paint and the exterior design being so poor. Last year I replaced the timing belt and that was the biggest cost I've had on the car. It is beginning to throw check engine lights randomly and is burning oil - oil needs to be refilled every 1000-1500 miles now. Overall it is still a dependable vehicle around town if you are managing the oil.

I bought my 2001 RAV4 in 2010. It had 100,000 miles. I have put 125,000 more miles on it.. it’s the best car I’ve ever owned. I can still get 25 to 27 miles to the gallon. Doesn’t use any oil. The seats are very versatile. Can recline be removed or flip forward. It’s got a generous cargo area. And has been extremely reliable. The reliability and versatility outweighs the lackluster power. I paid 10,000 for it and could probably sell it for 10,000. Great car, and I’m hanging onto it. It’s now 24 years old.

Hey, these guys at Ammoury Auto were straight up with me. I drove from Duluth, Minn. to test drive a Camry off the lot. Mike was very helpful and knowledgable about the car. He was willing to guarantee that I could drive the car back to Duluth. My questions about the car were all answered, I was allowed to put the car on the hoist to inspect the undercarriage, and the carfax report was discussed. I was told to test drive the car for hours if I needed to. I felt that the car matched what was descibed on-line and over the phone. Great car drive and also great to haul just about anything Small to mid sized since the back seats fold all the way down. And it gets good Gas MPG as well.

The only problem I ever had was that I had to change all of the shift solenoids in the transmission but I'm over 300,000 MI and running like a champ

Hi, I’m 18 and this was my first nice car, I have had it for like 3 months and put 5k miles on it. It’s Solid, I do have the 3.5L so it doesn’t have the oil issues like the 4cyl. This car quiet and comfortable and runs and starts every time, even when freezing. It has 192k and I love it. Only repair needed was a cv axle which was under 500$, which for this many miles is great. I highly suggest the v6 2009 Camry!

I bought this car used in 2023. It runs well. It is not the quickest car but it will always get the job done. I have the 2.5L 4 cylinder and it gets around 27 mpg on average. I recently gave my daughter my much loved, fully loaded 2007 Camry Hybrid.I miss it very much. The early ones were made in Japan and really hold up well providing you take care of them. During the 165,000 miles I owned the car it never broke down and never required a repair aside from normal things like brakes, tires, new TPS sensors and normal maintenance. That's quite remarkable. If you take the time to learn how to coax the car into electric mode with the gas pedal these cars easily exceed 40 mpg except during the coldest few months. If you can find a well cared for example of this car jump on it, you won't regret it.

My dad had a 2000 Avalon and I ended up getting a 2001 Avalon I love it it rides so smooth and so comfortable I just got it maybe 2 weeks ago it's 2022 my car is 21 yrs old and has 125,000 miles before this car I had a 2006 Volvo s60 and my 2001 Avalon is way nicer and def better car all around I hated the Volvo

On March 12 2022 as I was heading home I was hit in the middle of an intersection by a truck going through a red light. Once I realized I was all right and that no other people were injured in any other vehicles I immediately felt so sad for my car I've never been attached to any vehicle I always thought that was kind of strange but I get it now! It was reliable fuel efficient. I don't know how I'm going to replace it

What this vehicle lacks in performance and excitement, it makes up for tenfold in reliability and safety. Driven this car well over a year now, and only had an issue with the alternator going out. Put around ten thousand miles on it with no problems! Never left me stranded. Gets great gas mileage, and with a less restrictive air intake it sounds quite nice. It’s not the most comfortable car in the world, no heated or ventilated seats, no fancy electric gizmos. It’s a car that’ll do what cars were made to do. Take you places.
