This is an extremely reliable and dependable vehicle. Something to look out for if you have or are interested in buying a 2007-09 Camry with the 4 cylinder motor, try and look for the service records and see if your engine was repaired with new piston rings at the time when they issued the service campaign for it. I purchased my 2009 just last year with 75k miles on it, and it was a 4 cylinder that was fixed by the dealership! Doesn’t burn a drop of oil between 5k mile intervals. This car is a beast, there is nothing to worry about whatsoever with the V6 models, just be aware that higher power output means more strain on the transmission, but these cars are mechanically fantastic. Just turned 89k miles after about a year of ownership, not one issue. Gas mileage won’t be as good as a new car, but still decent! Do your research before buying, but if you can find one of these older Camrys for cheap, you won’t be disappointed.

My husband an I bought a 2019 camry in 2020 with 35k. It's now 2025 and besides replacing the o2 sensors, this car is extremely good on gas, very comfortable, sporty, very reliable, and timeless. We have the le model with 148k on it. We've done all regular maintenance. We haven't had time to have the transmission fluid serviced, due to health issues. 100k of the miles are all highway miles. I'm a mechanic that rebuilds vehicles to flip. By far this is the best vehicle for the money and we will keep our camry and keep her going until it's time to replace the engine.. I don't see that happening for years to come. These little 4 bangers are bullet proof. Oh, I absolutely love the trans shifts, a cross between regular clutches and cvt. Would highly recommend

Gregor talked about all the training and support he gets from an unbelievable company. I have worked at Gap Inc and was the director of stores for 11 years. I understand customer service at its core. I've only owned this car since January 31, 2025. Bought it used from a small dealer in Tennessee with 136,652 miles on it. I bought it because I moved to Tennessee and will be starting a new job soon, so I needed a reliable car to get to/from work. I've always had Hondas; this is my first Toyota, and has not let me down so far. It's comfortable, fun to drive, starts right up every time and you can shift the transmission manually for more fun. All I've had to do to it so far is oil change and replace tie rod ends. I always look forward to driving it. I love the styling of the SE trim, it has the 4 cylinder engine. Only thing I'm going to need to do to it soon is tires. I gave it 4 stars for performance cause the 6 speed transmission seems to lag a bit unless you use manual shift mode and it seems to want to shift into 6th gear too soon. Other than that, I love this car!

I4, SE, Torque Converter recall was only major problem, now pushing 377K mi. Required maintenance items, brakes, tires, this machine is built to last. Did radiator, water Pump & Alternator. Great Highway car!

Bought this car with 54,000 miles on it. This is my 4 th Camry and I love them. Every one I’ve owned has over 100,000 miles when sold. The last one had 192,000. Mostly maintaince items. Tires brakes windshield wipers usuals wear items. Good job Toyota!!

I bought this car used with under 40,000 miles in 2014. I have been driving it ever since and currently have 272,000 miles on it. After multiple accidents and repairs it has been an extremely reliable and dependable car. Up until 250,000 I would have still driven it across multiple states. My biggest complaint is the quality of paint and the exterior design being so poor. Last year I replaced the timing belt and that was the biggest cost I've had on the car. It is beginning to throw check engine lights randomly and is burning oil - oil needs to be refilled every 1000-1500 miles now. Overall it is still a dependable vehicle around town if you are managing the oil.

Omg I don’t know where to start! I came in knowing that or thought that I was not going to be able to get a car because of my credit. How about I let with the exact color and model and it’s fully loaded couldn’t have be happier. I had to leave the best for last Tom is the man he is funny but about his business. Bought my '12 Camry SE used at 100k. Its been an ideal commuter for me. Its now at 222k as of this morning. Here's what I have replaced: Brake Light Switch ($250 at dealer) Blower Motor (bought myself for $45, super easy to change) Spark plugs (preventative maintenance), $250 at dealer Toyota OEM water pump (preventative maintenance) about $1k at Toyota dealer Beyond this, two sets of tires. Brakes all around. Oil changes. I always do my own oil changes. The power door locks have never worked right. I live with it, no big deal I live in a safe area. It has the "dreaded" torque converter shudder around 40-50 mph. Hasn't gotten any better, but hasn't gotten any worse either. I live with it. The car runs fantastic. Idles smoother than my Cadillac Escalade, and cruises 80 mph with ease, and thats just with the 4 cylinder (mine has the 2AR-FE). Best vehicle I have ever owned, thats for sure. I plan to drive this until it doesn't make financial sense to fix something that breaks (which knock on wood, I don't see that happening for a long time). Love my Camry. Best car I have ever purchased. Period.

It’s a tank. So far V6 has been solid no issues with oil burn. Have been doing regular oil changes. Just recently replaced both front control arms due to worn out bushings. No other issues car has 160 K.

My wife and I went in to look at a new Venza, but saw a beautiful red Crown in front of the building. We fell in love with the Crown. The salesman Julian Mitchell was outstanding. His knowledge, patience, and personality made him one of the best salesmen we have met. We had a minor credit glitch resolved by Julius Libutti the sales manage, who is also exceptional. The Prius is the last cat you will have to buy. The reason being is that this vehicle is extremely reliable. It gets over 50 MPG & it doesn’t have any issues or problems whatsoever. I was skeptical upon purchasing this vehicle, being 6 ft. 1 & 235 lbs, but it actually is quite comfortable inside. Overall this is a rock solid vehicle, it will not disappoint you in any way. Highly recommended!

Initially I was apprehensive about getting a Toyota corolla because of the lack of power and handling, but after 12 years of ownership, I must say that the reliability and low cost of ownership more than make up for its lackluster performance which means more money in my pocket, and that's what count with todays economy.

Well it fits all 7 members of my family. Has pretty good gas mileage. It is comfortable and doesn't take 3 years to get up to 35-40 miles per hour.

I bought my used 2017 Yaris IA sedan (Mazda 2 engine and transmission with Toyota logo!) 3 years ago with 79,000 miles on it and in great condition. First owner had no repairs, only standard maintenance, and I wanted a fuel efficient compact with a reliable engine. Now, at 143,000, all I've had to do (other than brakes, oil, etc) is serpentine belt and a $40 relay. Having some AC problems that seem to be common in these models. Great mileage, simple throwback to inexpensive/basic cars of yesteryear. Not much power on acceleration but ok. Interior design not ideal (no console, cup holders too far back, etc) but that's affordability! I don't care about high tech features, just wanted great MPG and reliable engine, and this is right for that. We will see how long that Mazda engine in a Toyota shell lasts, but others reviews seem promising. A few minor complaints but budget is budget for a reason. Overall very satisfied!
