2007 Silverado 1500 engine 5.3 runs great 150k miles exterior rocker panels have rotted out cab corners also! Have had oil change every 3000 miles burn's no oil ride's great yet.

This has been a solid truck. However, I have only owned it for less than a year. Recently, I have had a BCM problem. Not a cheap fix. There are approximately 8 recalls.

I bought my 4x4 Nissan XE King cab 4 cylinder 2.4 l in 1999 brand new from the dealer. It was tight as you could get. I have 262,000 miles on it of which I've driven every single one. The timing chain finally gave out at 200,000 miles and I replaced the water pump head gasket a couple of valves CV boot transmission transfer case alternator shocks tires u-joints including the carrier bearing and put new springs on the back and a new bumper on the back. It's had a shell on it it's whole life and I covered the seats since I've had it. So the seats and the bed are in great condition practically perfect. It runs like a top and it seems like it's brand new. This is an excellent truck and I just can't get rid of it. I could never replace it with something as good as it is for the money that people would want to pay me for it. I highly recommend these trucks. It's a rarity to have a four-wheel drive extra cab four cylinder truck because typically they have a six cylinder motor. The motor is strong as heck. Even after the top end rebuild. Very dependable, Very useful, and Very Fun to own. This truck is at 206,000 miles and everything still works as the day I bought it. I could not express how much I love it. It has the 3.5 ecoboost twin turbo engine and the fx4 luxury package it eats dodges and craps on chevy. Please note that if you currently have the 3.5 Eco boost or 2.7 Eco boost to change oil every 3 to 4k due to the high temp your oil gets because you have turbos the 5.0 v8 doesn't have turbos btw

This truck meets all the requirements I had set for a truck ... had one very similar before and was searching for another one. Wanted the RAMboxes and a "shifter" not a dial to handle the gears! This model as the bucket style front seats, not the bench and the sifter is part of the console. It is loaded and just what I wanted.... save for the fact it does not have the tow package .... no matter.

I bought my ZR two S-10 four-wheel-drive brand new in 2002. It’s been a great truck. I had a new 4.3 motor installed just a couple years ago after my truck was stolen and found with the engine overheated and and blown head gasket. I just went ahead and put a route brand new motor in it and the truck is just like it came off the ship of showroom floor, this truck has been to canyonland Utah from Mojave desert in death Valley plus it’s been to the Rubicon in California. I’ve had very few problems with my truck up in the past 20+ years. Yeah I believe I could still sell my truck close to $10,000 and it would be a value at that. I love my S 10.

I bought my XL extended cab long bed in 2004 @54,000 miles. 2024 only 104,000 miles so far. Runs great smog test was great. Having a long bed really helps when working around the house. Only issues are the pull cables for the extra side door. Going to replace that including brake and hood cables. Other then that the Best truck iv'e ever owned 🇺🇸👍

I bought my truck new and it's still running great with over 260K miles. I changed the oil every 3K then switched years ago to synthetic and know every 5K and transmission fluid every 30K. I maintain the vehicle when required per owners manual if not before. This truck has gone everywhere hunting and driving the back roads of Arizona and now Alabama. Never had a quad or sidexside as my truck served that roll. Very satisfied as vehicle has cost me on average $154.33 a month to maintain over the past 238 months since new.

I bought my 2012 F150 FX4 Ecoboost brand new in February 2012. I currently have 64k miles on it. I have never had a mechanical issue with it. Regular preventative maintenance has kept it very reliable. It has a comfortable and quiet ride for a truck. I have towed 3 different campers with it ranging from 5k-8k pounds. The Ecoboost easily handles the towing with plenty of HP and torque. Just don't expect great gas mileage while towing, 7-9mph. Without towing on the highway, I can average 19mph. For a half ton truck, I tow my 35ft camper with no concerns. It's a comfortable commuter truck too. I love my truck!

Good truck very reliable yes mileage is not the greatest but you should not own a truck if you worry about gas get a smart car. Then you can worry about the price of maintenance speaking of which only done the basic to my Titan.

I bought the truck new in 2015, I remember it had 7 miles on it.. like others, I've owned Fords and Chevys. This has been hands down the best truck I've ever had.. A few small mantaince pieces but nothing bad.. unless this truck gets wrecked or stolen, I will have this truck till it or I Die...

I bought my 2001 Tundra 4WD in 2006, and nearly 20 years later I still have it. I'm 75 and I've owned a lot of cars & trucks in my life, and I swear my Tundra is the most reliable, most pleasurable-to-drive one I've ever had. Not quite 200k miles (yes, that's low by Tundra standards), but the engine is as peppy and smooth as when it was new. Never had a bit of mechanical trouble with it, which is something I could not say about any of the two dozen or so vehicles I have had going back 60 years. Only complaints: I think Toyota's paint jobs are subpar; backdoor window latches are cheap and they broke long ago.
