This has been a solid truck. However, I have only owned it for less than a year. Recently, I have had a BCM problem. Not a cheap fix. There are approximately 8 recalls.

I bought an 02 Chevy Avalanche around 4 years ago, it's been an amazing truck. I pull my work trailer everyday with it with zero problems, very reliable. This truck might be the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. I am very impressed with how the quality is way up there compared to the price. I believe, for the money i now have a nicer vehicle than some that i looked at that were more expensive.

Mo stayed late so I could test drive a truck on my way home from work, which I really appreciated. After the test drive, we arranged to come pick up the truck two days later, and when we arrived all paperwork was ready to go. We were in and out in a very short amount of time. 195k miles and my truck still fires up and runs excellently. Everything from the value, the power, the utility, the reliability, and, in my opinion, the looks, are superb. I will say the turning radius is quite awful, but in light of all the positive things I could say about this truck, it's an easy recommendation, and by far the best vehicle I've had the please of owning. It is a barebones truck, but Nissan did an excellent job fine tuning it and making it one of those 10+ year trucks you wish every other truck could be.

I have a 2005 Victory Red 2 wheel drive 1500. It has about 230k miles. I do residential construction and it’s the only truck that will allow me to carry 16-18’ length lumber hanging way out the back sometimes over 10’ past the rear bumper. But I do it anyways all the time. I just put a bunch of red flags on the end of the materials and the sides. I have even delivered several hundred pieces of rebar which I think where like 21’ long. They where literally dragging on the ground but I have done this countless times and have never been stopped by the police. Building houses and being able to deliver full length materials has been priceless. Also I have loaded the bed with a pallet of concrete and delivered many deck packages where the pressure treated material was water logged and weigh a tremendous amount. I estimate I often carry 2500-3k lbs in the bed sometimes almost double it’s payload capacity and even though the shocks and springs are flat and the backend is almost flat on the ground the truck handles it no problem. Also this truck is unique because you never have to be homeless. With the bed covers on an air mattress you can sleep 2 people very comfortably. With your upper bodies in the cab of the truck. It’s totally awsome. Very private and you can use the bed light and also turn the truck on and off to heat and cool it. Best of all you can stow all your blankets etc. in the storage boxes when you are not sleeping. We call it urban camping and it’s just like a mobile home.

After my f150 was totaled last winter, I was looking for another F150 with eco boost engine. Being mid winter there were not any used trucks with decent mileage available. I found a 2018 pro x with 70k. It wasn’t as luxurious as my ford but it was loaded with navigation. I purchased it. What a good decision. Besides a battery replacement and fluid changes I haven’t had one issue. It’s a strong truck with great acceleration And torque. I’m 6-1 and fit comfortably in the cab. Yeah it is a midsize, so I sacrificed size but I adapt. The only negative is poorer gas mileage. My ford eco boost averaged 16+ whereas my Nissan gets12 mpg on a good day.

What a pleasant experience. My first time financing a vehicle. When going to initially look at the vehicle, I discovered a few issues. Obviously no used car is going to be perfect, nor was I expecting it to be. They told me to come back the next day and the issues would be fixed. I came back and they did in fact fix the car. They are willing to and have went above and beyond.

Good truck very reliable yes mileage is not the greatest but you should not own a truck if you worry about gas get a smart car. Then you can worry about the price of maintenance speaking of which only done the basic to my Titan.

I only have two issues with this vehicle! Poor gas mileage! Terrible turn radius! I tow a boat and my friends who have full size trucks ( F150, Chevy 1500, and Dodges ) get better gas mileage Than I do towing their boats then I do without towing! Some of them have backed me in to the launch and then park the vehicle! They come back and say the turn radius is bad !

I had routine maintenance done on one of my vehicles while I was in the area. The service was performed correctly and completed in a timely manner.

5.3L Colorado?? Yes please! This truck will last forever. Only downside is grounding issues (well-known issue with Colorado's) but easily fixable, and fuel efficiency (but you have a v8).

I bought my 2012 F150 FX4 Ecoboost brand new in February 2012. I currently have 64k miles on it. I have never had a mechanical issue with it. Regular preventative maintenance has kept it very reliable. It has a comfortable and quiet ride for a truck. I have towed 3 different campers with it ranging from 5k-8k pounds. The Ecoboost easily handles the towing with plenty of HP and torque. Just don't expect great gas mileage while towing, 7-9mph. Without towing on the highway, I can average 19mph. For a half ton truck, I tow my 35ft camper with no concerns. It's a comfortable commuter truck too. I love my truck!

Mo helped my sister get a great used Toyota Camry at a great price She has been looking for weeks on a good affordable used. She went to Big Name car dealers only to be rejected due to her credit. She only has a little money down with not so perfect credit. Noone would help her until she stumbled to Overdrive Motors. Mo would bend over backwards to help her get a car. I currently own a 2011 Chevy avalanche LS with several upgraded packages. Exterior…I really like the design of the truck and some people say the big pillars in the bed are a blind spot but I’ve never really had an issue with them. Interior…the dash is cracked in several places (before I bought it) and the interior has some loud rattles. But the seats are very comfortable and the coil suspension gives the truck an incredible ride. Handling is a little squishy and acceleration isn’t great but usually your not buying a truck for speed :) The Midgate is an extremely cool feature that I feel like a lot of people skip over…very intuitive design and on hot days I pop the back window out and store it in the mid gate for a “almost” convertible feel. Overall I would recommend the truck 8/10

I’ve had this truck for about half a year now and so far no issues, the rust can be kind of a xxxxx, And it likes to gobble fuel I do not recommend letting this truck sitting idle, not good for the cams Overall it’s very comfortable it drives like a ghost, I will buy dodge for the rest of my life

I purchased my 2003 black and silver baja Oct 2002. I love this vehicle, I have 203,000 miles on it and will get another 100,000 I'm sure. It is so much fun to drive even today. The interior and exterior are still in excellent condition.

Yes, I've replaced things and have been proactive in replacing other things that can go out like water pumps, alternators, etc...I absolutely trust this old girl to take me anywhere and any distance and wouldnt hesitate to buy another one.
