This my 2nd Dodge Dakota, I would recommend another one to anyone who wants manual truck. My 1st was 1997 Dodge Dakota, I actually prefer the 97 style to the 2006 model, this year would make my truck 26 yrs old. Still on the road, just has a few maintenance issues, still planning on keeping my 97, gonna put it in the shop for some TLC. I guess what I am trying to say is that the Dodge corporation made one xxxx of a truck, I believe that if the 2006 last as long as my 97, then this will be my last truck. Nothing better than shifting gears with the windows rolled down, going 60 mph.

The truck runs great with 300.000 thousand miles. But it has regular maintenance. I don't use it as a daily work vehicle any longer. It will probably outlast me.

This truck has towed my 5th wheel 4 horse trailer all over the place. It’s been super reliable and never got stuck. It keeps great speed going uphill when towing a full trailer.

I recommend the Ranger it’s fun to drive and the only issue I’ve had was the rust, which that’s normal in an old truck that’s been sitting outside for years in Ohio weather. My friends love the truck also, we do some drifting and donuts in the parking lot, real fun I’ll tell yeah!

Great mid-size truck. We bought it in November 2022. I had to replace the throttle positioning sensor and that is all. 4.0 auto 5 speeds. It woud do a better if 6 speed, but I still get 19-20 mpg if I baby it. The 6 cylinder has good power at over 260hp. I recommend the frontier. My son has a 4 cyl 1997 hardbody now for 12+ years. Both trucks are great.

This vehicle is a 2004. It has been very reliable. It is a five speed manual transmission V6. It has enough power. The only fault I can give is (like all Toyota Standards they often haven't be double clutched to get them in reverse. Other than regular maintenance it's been a great vehicle.

Without discussing the beginning of my car search journey, I will go straight to the end of my journey with Nissan / Hyundai located in Waldorf MD. Anne Maus, Todd Zaciek, Denzel Payne and Max Cho... My search started May 9, 2022 and Ended June 7, 2022. It went from dealing with 2 sales associates I would NEVER recommend, to dealing with an EXCELLENT salesperson that assisted me for three weeks. Hands down Anne Maus (Nissan Dealer) is the best sales associate to have assisted me with my car search. Anne and I spoke, texted and emailed for 3 weeks. I finally went to the dealer on Saturday, May 29, 2022. I test drive 3 vehicles and fell in LOVE with the 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, because the vehicle was a certified vehicle I had to work with a Hyundai Sales Associate. After 5 days of being jerked around, the vehicle I fell in love with was sold. I texted my disappointment to the manager. I immediately received a call from Todd Z. Mr. Todd Z., went above and beyond to assist me in purchasing a vehicle. The next day Mr. Todd Z. sent me information on another Santa Fe. The truck that I fell in love with didn't even compare to the truck Mr. Todd Z sold me! I arrived at the Dealer on June 7, 2022 to sign off on my paperwork. I received nothing but TOP NOTCH SERVICE from my original Sales associate Anne Maus, a new sales associate from Hyundai, Denzel Payne. Denzel Payne showed me how to work all the gadgets on my new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Ultimate. Mr. Max Cho, the finance gentleman was very pleasant to work with, he made my experience very easy. When I say I can not THANK these 4 individuals (Anne Maus, Denzel Payne, Max Cho and last but not least Mr. Todd Z.) enough. I would recommend ANNE MAUS to anyone. Ms. Maus is very passionate about helping her customers. Ms. Maus listened and understood from day 1 what type of vehicle I was looking for and took her time to deal with me. 5.3L Colorado?? Yes please! This truck will last forever. Only downside is grounding issues (well-known issue with Colorado's) but easily fixable, and fuel efficiency (but you have a v8).

2002 Frontier crew cab xe long bed 2wd, was purchased new from the display inside the Nissan dealership. It has 253,000 miles on it now and is still my daily driver to work. Simple things wore out over time but easily fixed

I have a 2005 Victory Red 2 wheel drive 1500. It has about 230k miles. I do residential construction and it’s the only truck that will allow me to carry 16-18’ length lumber hanging way out the back sometimes over 10’ past the rear bumper. But I do it anyways all the time. I just put a bunch of red flags on the end of the materials and the sides. I have even delivered several hundred pieces of rebar which I think where like 21’ long. They where literally dragging on the ground but I have done this countless times and have never been stopped by the police. Building houses and being able to deliver full length materials has been priceless. Also I have loaded the bed with a pallet of concrete and delivered many deck packages where the pressure treated material was water logged and weigh a tremendous amount. I estimate I often carry 2500-3k lbs in the bed sometimes almost double it’s payload capacity and even though the shocks and springs are flat and the backend is almost flat on the ground the truck handles it no problem. Also this truck is unique because you never have to be homeless. With the bed covers on an air mattress you can sleep 2 people very comfortably. With your upper bodies in the cab of the truck. It’s totally awsome. Very private and you can use the bed light and also turn the truck on and off to heat and cool it. Best of all you can stow all your blankets etc. in the storage boxes when you are not sleeping. We call it urban camping and it’s just like a mobile home.

I have had this for around 2 years starting with 99,000 miles. Now has 117000 miles, its been a great truck. For being a truck that is almost 20 years old, the paint is faded in some spots and the dash where the speaker in the center was brittle and busted but, it was my fault it got busted. Anyways so far all the problems i have had since i have had it are that both the exhaust manifolds are leaking, which is very common on these trucks but, doesn’t effect it at all, runs just fine. It sprung a small oil leak from the oil cooler, easy fix. Had to replace both front hub bearings. And just before I bought it, the previous owner just replaced the radiator due to leak. So nothing major and has never left me stranded. Still has no rust. Everything works in it, the 19 year old Rockford Fasgate stereo system still sounds great. Sunroof still works, tv still works. I tell you everything works. Knock on wood for all of this, has been a very reliable truck. The 2 top things I would change in this truck if I could would be to give it more comfortable seats (not the most comfy but, not horrible either) and give it better gas mileage, low end I get about 12.5 mpg, high end 14.5 mpg. Not a gas saver by any means but, great truck all around. Pray it keeps being the reliable truck that it is.

The driver side front door grip is made of plastic frame construction underneath soft rubber. It broke in less than two years. All parts supporting grip handle are cheaply made of plastic.

My family has own multiple ram 1500 2014 and newer all great no problems except for third brake light. Get daily easier to maintain and work on than most gm 2016 and newer more power than f150 love these trucks.

I have a 2005 Colorado LS Ext Cab 4X4 with Z71, Cherry Red Metallic. As of August 2025 , has 377,813 miles , and still driven every day. The 5 cyl gets 20 mpg around Town and 22 mpg on the highway! The 3.5 L has 95% torque from 1500 rpm to 6000 rpm, and excellerates well , easily cruises at 2200 rpm at 80 mph! I pulled a 5000 Lb rv from Branson, MO to Atlanta, GA averaged 14 mpg. Best Truck I have owned!

I have had my 2011 GMC Sierra for a few years now, i love it. i have hauled multiple loads of wood with the truck loaded too the max and a small trailer loaded to the max. can definitely feel the weight but my truck never hesitates at all. Very impressed with the performance of these trucks. i have worked at a ford dealership for years, but ill always drive a GMC.

to: Campmeat from Arizona Someone told me my lifters were going bad because when I first started my truck I heard ticking noise until the engine got warm. I took my truck to a honest very hard to find mechanic and he told me I had a hole in my exhaust manifold. I paid $800 and 195,000 miles later still no ticking.
