Ive owned my 2019 Z71 Colorado for 4 years and 120,000 miles. Outside of basic wear and tear its been a great truck. I am hoping to get 300k out of it. I have heard that it gets transmission shutter. I do occasional get what feels like late shifts or delay in shifts but its never been persistent. Best change ive made is bigger tires. The stocks 255/r17/65 look too small and goofy for this truck.

Great mid-sized truck! Far superior to offerings from Nissan and Toyota - both of which ride like trucks. The Ridgeline rides like an SUV. Quiet, predictable and dependable. The Honda Safety Sensing system is a tad of a nuisance but you get accustomed to ignoring it. Surprised that Honda doesn’t do a better job. Infotainment system is overly complicated. Fuel economy is acceptable. Power is acceptable.

I commute 700 miles a week in this truck. It gets good gas mileage and is reliable and comfortable. At 263,000 miles it is still going strong and my mechanic thinks I may get another 100,000 to 150,000 miles. It’s a great smaller-sized truck.

Yes, incredible. It is not often I experience something incredible. I did at Don Wood CDJR. In fact, my fist experience in October was such a positive experience I was motivated to purchase a second car from them a few months later. For me, customer service is the support you offer your customers before, during and after they buy. BEFORE: Their website is easy to maneuver and up to date with inventory. This is a little lol because I didn't find what I wanted in their inventory and decided to make a custom order from them. DURING: While at the dealership everyone I encountered made my time there an easy and enjoyable experience. I'd describe them as professional and knowledgeable. Good listeners. AFTER: Many companies forget you, not the peeps at Don Wood. The followup care and support continued in a way that made me an absolute believer that their culture in wanting a happy customer is truly far reaching and genuine. They reached out to me just to make sure I didn't have any post purchase questions about the car or they many options I ordered with my new vehicle. I have not had dealings with their Service Department, however, I did pass a couple technicians in the halls etc. Each one made eye contact with me and each one said "hello". Unhappy or disgruntled associates do not do this. In summary, Yes Yes and YES - I drove from New Albany to buy my 2 vehicles here. My first was a Jeep in November and today a RAM 1500 diesel. With my highest recommendation I say YES I give Don Wood CDJR my gratitude and thanks. I am huge fan of their product. IMO their product isn't the cars and trucks they represent/sell, it is the humanity with which they do business and the genuine person to person interaction. It is meaningful. Strong little truck, great off road, and great gas mileage. Superior towing compared to my 2019 Taco. If you need a mid size truck that is actually a truck the Ranger will be great for you.

I have a gas ZR2 in blue, and it is my dream truck. The build quality is so good on these! The doors shut with a solid thud, the intuitiveness of the interior...it was the best truck available in 2022. I got mine before the '23 models and I am so very glad I did. I looked at all available mid-sized trucks, Jeeps, Tacos, Nissan, etc...none felt as solid as the ZR2. Almost two years now, and coming up on 25k. Oil changes and had the tires balanced, did all of the fluids at 5k. You have to allow for Chevy Quirkiness, and you'll love it. The A/C can be weird.

We purchased our truck in January and so far it has been excellent. I see people complaining about the interior being plastic. Well, most ALL cars are plastic inside and outside. We're older and think the Z71 Interior is well designed for comfort. Not a fan of things being put into a display. Things light lights should be a knob or button something that can be used without messing with the display. Still the interior is well laid out for a truck, it is a truck after all. It is not a car but the inside of the Colorado is to us about as good as it gets for looks. The truck itself has run out well; I just completed a 500-mile oil and filter change. I hope the truck will last for a very long time at least 20 years. At my age I do not have many more purchases left in me so hope and pray it lasts. I honestly feel trucks and cars today are way way overpriced due the fact most of them barely last long enough to get off the lots. I see complaints about reliability every truck we looked at and we looked at every brand and read reviews before after 2 years deciding we decided to go with the Colorado. Why? Because all of them had huge issues so we picked hopefully the least issues. I bought and extended warranty so hopefully this covers all those issues reported. That being said, everything I have seen suggest that the 2026 the later built ones had most of those issues resolved if not all of them. We have had the truck now 3 weeks no issues so far. It is very comfortable to ride in, we have done on several longer distance trips, and it has been a wonderfully comfortable truck. The overall look of the truck is very nice; it looks like a beast and sporty We had several inches of snow here and the truck went through the snow and ice like it wasn't there, of course we were careful, but the truck did very well. The 2-wheel drive worked well, only needed 4 high when the snow was piled up waist high in the drive entrance. I can't think of a thing we dislike about the 2026 Colorado Z71 so far it has been brilliant!

No matter the obstacle she was there with a positive attitude and a voice of reassurance that our vehicle would arrive and be all that we wanted it to be. She did not let us down. Her dedication to working with us on the paper work and putting the extra time and effort for that to be seamless was over and above as well. I have replaced my 2010 Ford Ranger XL for a 2020 Ranger XL and have found all of the improvements well worth it. I did install a third party Cruise Control and a Tonneau Cover and the truck runs great at highway speed for long distances with plenty of comfort. I wanted a Supercab for its 6.1 foot bed as I do not carry passengers and the space behind the seats is more than adequate for cargo. Having hands free blue tooth phone, rear backup camera shows up in rear view mirror, bed liner, allows USB sticks to play my considerable music collection and 4 wheel drive are all features I didn't have but wanted. This is a work truck with creature comforts that improve its usefulness. It not only looks great, it works well for my yard project hauling and street driving that make up my mileage. The former owner also added towing package. running boards and black letters on back of tailgate. I purchased this vehicle with only 56,000 miles on it. Spent time reading about pros/cons of this model and for how I use a truck and the specs that it has, it fulfills all of my needs without exception.

Purchased this 2023 Ridgeline after my 2020 was totaled out. The 2020 gets slightly better gas mileage, but they are very comfortable and quiet vehicles. I have many friends with larger trucks that have poor ride quality and lack the ease of use. The best thing is that Honda last forever. I still have and drive a 92 Civic. Two things I wish Honda and other manufacturers would do in the mid size truck market; one is make the back seats recline and make a reliable hybrid. Everything else is perfect. I was going to buy a newer Ridgeline since the display controls are better, but I loved the in bed speakers that are no longer on the newer models. It’s more truck than you’ll need for 90% of what you use it for.

I've had my '19 Ridgeline RTL-E for about 3 years now, she's my daily. Super comfortable ride, I'm 5'10 with long legs and I do wish that the driver seat would go back just a tad bit more. One thing that has spoiled me is the heated steering wheel, I love that feature. As far as the performance goes, it's pretty quick once you get going. I wish it was much more responsive rather than the slow take off it has now. The 6-speed transmission does worry me as I have heard some concerning things about it, and I love to keep my vehicles until they quit on me. Other than that, I do enjoy the rear power sliding window, and the speakers in the bed. Many of my truck buddies are impressed by this mid-size truck's handle and as am I.

The truck handles great, on city streets and the highway. I'm short (5'-4") and I feel comfortable in this truck. Great pickup, low road noise.

I like the vehicle - design, comfort, everything one would expect of a small pick up. Sense I've owned it I've experienced 4 different time of starting problems and lately there's become a problem with the door locks while truck is in motion. They will unlock and lock themselves while driving on the road. This vehicle has 67800 miles, mostly highway miles. with the 4 starting problems it's no rime or reason. I try to start it, it won't start, I walk away and come back in 10-15 minutes and starts right up. I wondering if the locks and starting problem may be connected. I replaced the battery about a month ago. Don't see any connection with starting problem to that. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

6 months ago, I bought a 2020 GMC Sierra AT4, 85K miles, no warranty. Background, I live 115 miles from this dealership but they had the truck I wanted so I made the drive. There was never any doubt in my mind that I would not go back there for service just due to the distance. On my way home from picking up the truck, the TPMS system said there was an error and was only showing pressure for three tires (no LF). I chocked it up to a bad sensor and as I have replaced these in previous vehicles and know they are not that expensive, I pressed on home as it was too late and I was half way home . This was an intermittent problem until I did my first oil change / tire rotation. I mentioned this problem to the Chevy dealer and asked them to change the sensor. They checked the sensor and it was reading a strong battery signal so I told them to just rotate the tires and I would see what happens. Soon after, this intermittent problem became and consistent issue. The problem was it was showing the same LF tire even though the tires had been rotated and reprogrammed which meant the issue was something else. That Chevy dealer wanted a ridiculous amount of money just to diagnose the problem ($200). That's the history now why I'm recommending Coughlin, a couple weeks ago someone from Coughlin just made a 6 month check up call. I told her I loved the truck and had no issues other than this TPMS problem. I had no expectation of the dealership doing any thing about this, (six months and 7k miles later) she told me she would contact the Service Manager, John Tackett, and have him call me. The next day he did and he told me they would at least diagnose the problem, no charge and see what they could do. Thinking this was looking like it was going to turn into an expensive fix I took him up on the offer. Today I took the truck in and dealt with Paul Lynch, the Service Advisor. Long story short, not only did they diagnose, but they spent a total of 3-4 hours taking care of it at no charge to me. I find it so refreshing this day in age to have a company stand behind what they sold me, I'm just at a loss for words of thanks. Next time I need to buy a vehicle, I will be checking this dealership first, even with it being 115 mile drive. Kudos to John & Paul, thank you both very much!!! Also a shout out to my salesman, Forest, as I had a good experience when I made the purchase. Obviously, I recommend doing business here!!!

The Ranger is a great light duty pickup for urban use. The 4-cyl 2.3L Turbo engine is plenty strong and gets great MPG at highway speeds. Around town I get right at 20 MPG, but at highway speeds it is closer to 28 MPG. It also tows my 3,000 lb boat with ease and gets 1 5 - 18 MPG while doing so. I would have liked a 6' bed, but Ford right-sized this vehicle for those that don't need a full-sized pickup.

Bought this 2016 GMC Canyon (4cyl) at car max in 2017 . It was part of a commercial fleet and was well taken care of and low mileage . I’ve only have had one problem and that was in the engine cooling system where I had to replace two hoses and a goose neck . While repairing that I noticed an oil leak around the valve cover so I replaced the gasket . It was under warranty still ( just happened in Jan 2024 ) . I could have repaired it myself but who wants to get all dirty when it can be repaired by GMC at little or no cost to me. It still has 6 months remaining on warranty ( I did purchase from CarMax) hoping it does not need any further repairs . It is 8 years old and according to its records this is the first repair other than natural repair items that had ever been needed . It rides well pulls my utility trailer fully loaded just fine . I also have a 2000 Ranger that I had to replace the tranny on when it was just a few years old . It has never needed any other work. I believe the GMC will last me for years to come . But you never know so I will be buying another after market warranty on it when the time comes . I’ve already added that to a 2015 vehicle I own who’s warranty had expired . I’m a old school mechanic I can repair olde vehicles easily ( compared to todays ) I’m also a former Turbo Prop Mechanic from the Air Force and worked those motors for almost 29 years . I had worked on Piston Air Craft Motors for a few years before the change . A lot like a car piston motor in many ways . Two kinds of piston motors on Air Craft . Line a cars block or a receptacating motor( Round) . Very easy to trouble shoot vs Turbo Prop. Just letting you know that I have experience as a mechanic and know a real problem vehicle when I see one . Would buy a GMC canyon again or maybe go larger due to my new 42 foot long Camper I have rec bought .

Bought this 2023 Ridgeline RTL used with only 4000 miles in Nov 2024, so it is essentially a new car. I was coming from a similar class, a 2018 Nissan Frontier. The new electronics suite is really nice. Turning radius is slightly less, so still getting used to that especially when backing into spaces. The tilt down/swing open tailgate is very handy, and the extra trunk under the deck is a Godsend for groceries, and the trunk also keeps the spare tire out of the elements until that rare time I have to get at it. All in all I like it a lot (price tag could have been lower), but no real complaints as yet. Only little things are that I am still reaching for a shifter (push button automatic), and reaching to turn off the key (which is now a fob in my pocket). Nice smooth ride which is really nice for some of the longer rides I take.

GMC Diesel Canyon AT4. I've had this truck for a year-11,000 miles. I love it. The Denali and Elevation trim looked like junk. The AT4 can't compete with the Tacoma off road but, It holds it's own off road. The Diesel pulls like a beast and the exhuast brake, on all the moutain passes I drive, is worth it's wieght in Gold. I trailer the max. capacity regularly and it's smooth sailing. I traded in my 2500HD Silverado with the vortec 6.0 for this big, little truck. Best decision I've made in a while. I had this truck on order for 8 months and Gm never accepted the order. I finally found exactly what I ordered, just off the truck that morning that I called. 1300 miles away, I jumped on a plane to go get it. Crying shame GMC discontinued the diesel. The extra $ per gallon right now is easily washed by the increase in mileage, 32+ higway, 19 trallering almost 8000 #'s. I wouldn't want the truck without it. Wouldn't want the Elevation or Denali. Diesel AT4 is the truck. I'll keep it the rest of my life barring accident. I'm sure I can get 40 years out of this truck doing 10-12k a year. The regeneration of the exhaust has never come up but, I only do a little round town driving. Most of my miles are highway and hauling a load. I've heard horror stories about regen. from city folk, commuters... You get what you aim for. If you've given it a lot of thought and the diesel AT4 seems right for you, you won't be disappointed. Good luck finding one. GM - You've a winner here. don't let it get away. Ps. Cars.com doesn't have a choice of how I use this truck for WORK.
