This truck is the base model and that is exactly what we were looking for. A good solid truck without all the fancy technology. It drives like a dream, handles just as well and the interior is sleek and well designed. Perfect black on black exterior.... a man's truck.

This has been a solid truck. However, I have only owned it for less than a year. Recently, I have had a BCM problem. Not a cheap fix. There are approximately 8 recalls.

It’s a great truck. Very cheap to fix when it needs to be. It breaks down all the time because it’s had multiple owners in the past. But that’s MY truck. Yours may be great. Mine is okay. Very very worn out. But it still runs good when it decides it wants to work.

This my 2nd Dodge Dakota, I would recommend another one to anyone who wants manual truck. My 1st was 1997 Dodge Dakota, I actually prefer the 97 style to the 2006 model, this year would make my truck 26 yrs old. Still on the road, just has a few maintenance issues, still planning on keeping my 97, gonna put it in the shop for some TLC. I guess what I am trying to say is that the Dodge corporation made one xxxx of a truck, I believe that if the 2006 last as long as my 97, then this will be my last truck. Nothing better than shifting gears with the windows rolled down, going 60 mph.

Great customer service! Tyler and Robert were easy to work with and put absolutely no pressure on us. The vehicles there range greatly in price and condition but they always allow for pre-purchase inspections with your own mechanic. That was really nice and we were able to get my daughter into a car that was safe and reliable. The F250/F350 with the 7.3 Diesel by (International T444E) is easy to repair and has simple mechanics behind how it functions. It is a truck that pulls well, if the transmission is upgraded and will last a long time. No emission problems or DEF issues. There are a variety of after market parts to complete repairs and maintenance, unlike new trucks that stop having parts made after 3-5 years. The truck has been around long enough and forums address almost all issues. Transmissions/torque converters are the weak point ($5-8k) and always keep a Cam Position Sensor ($20) in the glove box with a 10mm wrench. Another common maintenance item is the injector control module. I recommend adding a fuel rail cross over to prevent air getting trapped in fuel system and drilling out the oil drains on the top of the heads to allow better draining back to crank case.

I purchased a new XL, I-4, ext cab, 6ft bed in 2006 for $13k. In 12 years I put 60k miles on it. There was no issues requiring parts or maintenance in that time. I sold it in 2018 for $7k, an extremely good value.

I bought my XL extended cab long bed in 2004 @54,000 miles. 2024 only 104,000 miles so far. Runs great smog test was great. Having a long bed really helps when working around the house. Only issues are the pull cables for the extra side door. Going to replace that including brake and hood cables. Other then that the Best truck iv'e ever owned 🇺🇸👍

They addressed most issues I pointed out. Was able to make a deal on the truck I was happy with paying. I am a mechanic by trade, I looked this over before buying. There are cars/trucks at 507 that are cheap beaters and priced accordingly, but not much different from what i seen driving down Tacoma way and pac ave. They also have a good selection of nice cars, it’s a big used car lot. Just look over your vehicle you want, they will even let you Bring it to a mechanic to look it over. 507 is worth a Shot to at look see what they have!

In 2010 We bought a 2008 silverado. LT 5.3 engine. Two wheel drive. I still drive it everyday. Regular oil changes. This truck had 26k on it. Today it has 156k. Battries. Breaks, plugs and wires. Thats it. -50 below outside, starts right up! Awesome! Proud owner.

I bought my truck new and it's still running great with over 260K miles. I changed the oil every 3K then switched years ago to synthetic and know every 5K and transmission fluid every 30K. I maintain the vehicle when required per owners manual if not before. This truck has gone everywhere hunting and driving the back roads of Arizona and now Alabama. Never had a quad or sidexside as my truck served that roll. Very satisfied as vehicle has cost me on average $154.33 a month to maintain over the past 238 months since new.

Bought 2006 Ram SLT 4x4. Still own it. 246k miles. Standard maintenance, shocks, struts, power steering pump. Little rust required. Truck is more than most can expect. I wanted a truck that would last and give good service.

This little pickup surprised me with every turn. It could tow 6500# without a problem and made it 190k miles with very few repairs. Mainly just maintenance items like struts and oil. It was priced according to its size and capabilities. The only complaint I had was the interior did seam cheep and the bed was very small. But it’s also a midsize

Purchased used for $1500 to using as a fishing truck about a decade ago, but we can’t kill it! About to roll 200,000 miles and haven’t spent a dime on anything more than routine maintenance. Heater is weak, A/C is strong, and the seats are as comfortable as any truck. The V-6 isn’t strong but gets respectable fuel mileage. Best served with a manual transmission.

Bought this 2007 truck F150 4x4 off road 18 years ago and still driving it. Proper maintance is the key to keep that machine going.

Bought-2001 F-150 King Ranch Crew Cab, 5.4, 4x4, 4 seat Sport interior, with every option available that year. Today, has 317,632 miles and never worked on exept for normal maintenance items, and runs perfect, getting around 14 mpg. Pull my boat, 9 tons from Fla, to NC including it's 310 gallons of fuel at 52 mph the whole trip. Do I love this truck? You better believe it, not another truck anywhere could preform like this, and it had, 270,000 miles on it when I bought it!!!!
