This truck meets all the requirements I had set for a truck ... had one very similar before and was searching for another one. Wanted the RAMboxes and a "shifter" not a dial to handle the gears! This model as the bucket style front seats, not the bench and the sifter is part of the console. It is loaded and just what I wanted.... save for the fact it does not have the tow package .... no matter.

Bought my truck used in 2016 with 69k miles one owner vehicle currently pushing 122k. Only major issue has been the replacement of the break pump, great on gas plenty of torque have hauled a Bob Cat in the past with no issues. Love my truck!

I bought my 2012 F150 FX4 Ecoboost brand new in February 2012. I currently have 64k miles on it. I have never had a mechanical issue with it. Regular preventative maintenance has kept it very reliable. It has a comfortable and quiet ride for a truck. I have towed 3 different campers with it ranging from 5k-8k pounds. The Ecoboost easily handles the towing with plenty of HP and torque. Just don't expect great gas mileage while towing, 7-9mph. Without towing on the highway, I can average 19mph. For a half ton truck, I tow my 35ft camper with no concerns. It's a comfortable commuter truck too. I love my truck!

The versatility is amazing. My father owns one with 145K and it never left him sitting. It rides better than a standard 1500 because it’s on a suburban frame. There has never been a job that is has not been able to handle. If you flip down the bed you will be stunned how much you can fit. I bought one and have had the same reliability and versatility.

I was in a bad accident and wast boned I had broken arm an fingers my 2500 turbo diesel was hit rightfront side then I was thrown into oncoming traffic and hit again after all that just body damage thank goodness frame was not affected this truck and god saved my life and the fact that god protected me the Olive said if I wasn’t in a wellbuilt truck like I was I would have been killed, thank you Dodge Ram for building these so strong I love my Ram 2500 Turbo Diesel Ivan only speak highly of it it’s a 2014 with 17,000 on the mileage and damage cost ins 22,000 to fix!! I love my Dakota! They can pull more than what they are rated for, the 3.9L V6 sounds great, they are tough, and it's never left me stranded, the interior is simple and comfortable, it has some cool fetures for its age like a built in engine light decoder, and Cruze control that adapts to hills, and it has never needed major engine work. The one drawback is it has poor fuel economy around 16MPG, notorious for rust, and the automatic are reportedly very flaky (idk how bad I got the 5 speed NV3500). Overall Its a great truck and can make a great first vehicle!

I purchased my truck in 2005, had 92,000 miles on it. Still driving it today with 253,000 miles on it. Doesn't use any oil between changes. I have all the scheduled maintenance done when it's time. I live in Arkansas, wouldn't be afraid to get in my Dodge and drive to New York in it. The only complaint I have is that the dash is starting to crack really back and pieces of it is falling out. I love this truck!

I owned 2 1993 Dodge Dakota’s one with the magnum V6 one with the magnum V8. I put over 200,000 miles on both with little to no trouble or mechanical problems. Kept both serviced on a regular basis and didn’t dog them out. That’s not to say that I took it easy on them, far from it. I drove the crap out of both. To this day the only thing that’s come close are a Jeep Wrangler with the 4.0 inline 6 cylinder and Chevy 1500 truck with the 5.3 liter engine. Currently own my second Toyota (totaled the first one) so we will see.

Almost 200,000 miles so almost everthing has been rebuilt or replaced but the engine and computer. I bought it new and still drive daily for work. It pulls our 24 ft. Boat with ease.

The stereo system is great, ride is smooth, great visibility, plenty of interior room , love the paint color, plenty of power , great braking ability and self parking is a great option

It's a great and good riding and fun to drive I however have been having problems when changing the rear brakes pads especially on the drivers side, and the emergency rear brake cable as well, other wise it's a pretty reliable truck, when commuting or hauling things, do need a new years wifi ,cd , am/fm radio.

This has been a solid truck. However, I have only owned it for less than a year. Recently, I have had a BCM problem. Not a cheap fix. There are approximately 8 recalls.

I bought the truck new in 2015, I remember it had 7 miles on it.. like others, I've owned Fords and Chevys. This has been hands down the best truck I've ever had.. A few small mantaince pieces but nothing bad.. unless this truck gets wrecked or stolen, I will have this truck till it or I Die...

Got a 2002 4x4 Z71 with 27,000 miles on it 20 years ago. Now has 178,000. Finally did front brakes at about 160,000. In that time i’ve needed a new driver widow motor, A/C compressor, and parking brake cable. Interior looks like new. Oh, the radio buttons snapped off too. Other than fluids and filter- thats it. Its been a great truck. Awesome in snow with studded tires.

Purchased the 08 tundra 8 years ago with 141k miles. Sitting at 243k now and it still drives the same as when I bought it. Other than maintenance & the things I wanted to add the Only thing I’ve replaced is the ac pump. For a half ton pickup I wouldn’t go with any other make. Would take it anywhere…tows and drives great while it still looks good going down the road!
