This is a great truck. Good acceleration, towing, and four-wheel drive. I am definitely a Ford lover now. Can't go wrong with this truck. Mine is a 5.0L and can't find a fault with it after four years of ownership.

I bought this truck used from Long-Lewis in Hoover, Alabama, in July 2025. I like the performance, gas mileage, and drive modes of the 3.5 Liter Twin Turbo with 10 Speed transmission. Lots of interior space, lots of interior and exterior lighting in the right places.

I should have gotten a 4 wheel drive to begin with. Traded in a 2018 F-150 STX 2X4 that was a nice truck but this is definitely an upgrade! The 3.5L accelerates quickly (beware leadfoot!) and pulls much easier than the 2.7L I traded away. Little difference in fuel mileage (I'm averaging around 1.4 mpg less with the larger engine) but worth the trade off. The interior is loaded with power, heated seats (both), upgraded navigation system and better quality stereo system. Heated mirrors and sliding rear window are a nice touch. This is my first 4X4 and it was really surprised at the torque output pulling out a couple of small trees and hauling away a 65' pine we had cut down. Much easier and more powerful than the 2.7L offered! Got it with low mileage and a pretty decent trade-in deal too. Think I'll keep it until the wheels fall off!

This truck is bulletproof. Good ride, good handling more than adequate power, on the noisy side. A great vehicle for work or general driving. Thumbs up

First off I wanna say Kyle the weatherman is one of the best car salesman around. he was able to get done what Denoyer Chevy could not get done. If you ever want a great deal or if you’re upside down on negative equity like I was don’t think about it just go see him and he will get it done every time. Good afternoon everyone, yes, I’m a lady and I’m an owner of a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali, it has a V8 motor fully loaded sunroof & also it has heated seats & steering wheel for the cold winter months & in those hot summer months you have A/C seats nothing better than that am I correct? It’s been times like that wouldnt trade for the world!! So for all you ladies who think BIG TRUCKS are just for men, go out there & buy one have them put on some electronic slide in/out rails & go out & show the shows the boss!! lol 😄 I’m out looking for a new one now either a 2500/3500 pearl white

Bought my 2015 Silverado in 2023. It’s been a great running truck. It’s roomy and runs very smooth and is very good on gas mileage.

Very dependable, Very useful, and Very Fun to own. This truck is at 206,000 miles and everything still works as the day I bought it. I could not express how much I love it. It has the 3.5 ecoboost twin turbo engine and the fx4 luxury package it eats dodges and craps on chevy. Please note that if you currently have the 3.5 Eco boost or 2.7 Eco boost to change oil every 3 to 4k due to the high temp your oil gets because you have turbos the 5.0 v8 doesn't have turbos btw

to: Campmeat from Arizona Someone told me my lifters were going bad because when I first started my truck I heard ticking noise until the engine got warm. I took my truck to a honest very hard to find mechanic and he told me I had a hole in my exhaust manifold. I paid $800 and 195,000 miles later still no ticking.

I've serviced at this location for a long time and always been happy. I was happy to find when it was time to purchase a vehicle the sales team was just as friendly and easy to work with!

Outdoorsman Trim, 4x4, 5.7 and 6 speed. I bought this truck used in 2020 with 76,000 miles. It looked new and had excellent fit and finish. Car Fax showed 1 owner and well maintained. I always want to drive it everywhere as it is comfortable and smooth. Many modern features in an older truck. Gets about 17 mpg at 65 mph. I tow a travel trailer occassionally. Fitted RAM with E rated tires, Bilsteins and Tuff Truk springs. Great match for my trailer. Engine failed at 132,000 miles due to poorly designed rollers seizing. Do i replace engine or buy new Truck? Love the truck too much. Still in incredibly nice condition so a new engine for $8700 dollars was the decision. Plan to keep the truck as long as possible.

I had a base 2018 LT for just over 4 years. I bought it used off a lease buy back. I loved the truck, and if I didn’t end up needing a bigger back seat, for car seats, I’d probably still have it. I thought the ride was bouncy, almost too bouncy. I had no issues mechanically. The antenna was stuck and I marred it up trying to replace it. And the sunglasses holder started falling. The tpms sensors failed. But no big issues. That’s why I give it 4 of 5.

Awesome truck pull my camper with no problem.. 4×4 works great on the snow. Very economical with gas. Great space, love everything about it..Love it soo much

This is a place that always seems to have fresh inventory. Mostly SUV's, which is nice, and they are very clean and seem to be ready to go. Our car has been great to us and always recommend them for people looking for a family operated dealership to trust.

Very good fuel millage. Not transmission problems yet. Have 103000kms. Starter failed in 2019, repaired under warranty. Has great power for a 5.3L. Quite and soild build

My experience with Dorrance Ford was not only satisfying, but also refreshing. We had been in the market for a new truck for about six months. We had been unable to find what we were looking for at several other dealerships. If we did find one, the dealership was either, not participating with a discount I have offered through my employer in conjunction with Ford Motor company, or they were tacking on up to $6,000.00 to the MSRP! I have a 2020 1500 RST with the 5.3 engine and 8 speed transmission. My truck now has 67,000 miles. The acceleration is outstanding and smooth from gears 3-8. Probably could use more torque for gears 1-2, but not weak by any means. I have had no mechanical problems outside of the clunking rear suspension which was fixed by retorqueing the rear leaf spring suspension bolts. Other than that minor issue, it has been very reliable. I have heard these transmissions have had issues, but nothing that has caused issues for me. It has the 60-70 MPH shutter that is common to these transmissions, but I have learned how to drive to avoid the shutter, as I did with my 2011 1500. Overall pretty satisfied at this point. Comfort and amenities could be better for the front seats for the price, but I bought it knowing that. FYI my front brakes at this point are still 50%, and I have invested very little outside of a few fluid exchanges and routine maintenance. Excellent fuel mileage: 20 mpg with 50% highway vs city driving.

3.6 motor experience cold wether limp mode Several times. Dealer claims no update for carburetor freeze up. Stranded on extreme cold days. Very concerned and disappointing

Lariat model. 3.5 ecoboost engine. Great vehicle. Lots of extras. 4wd works well in OBX sand. I converted from chevy silverado. Ford won me over.

I recently traded in my 2015 F150 platinum after owning for 8 years. I bought used with 42k miles on it with the 3.5 ecoboost. I loved the comfort of driving and the style of it. Couldn’t have been a better experience driving it on all the long trips. Unfortunately I settled with the engine instead of waiting for a 5.0 to be available. The problems started with 2 weeks of buying the sunroof broke then at 60k miles with the transmission dying. Turbo lines were leaking fluid costing $4k to fix. Back window track falling on to my daughter’s car seat. Head gasket seal replaced at 100k miles. TPMS failed and never replaced them for $700. Air conditioner had issues here and there after so long Max A/C was like normal fan on high. Other miscellaneous sensors were replaced. Overall I had $26k in service repairs. Thank goodness I had an extended warranty or it would’ve been gone a long time ago. Sadly I got to 150k miles and the sunroof broke again after minimal usage throughout the years. With out a warranty anymore I couldn’t go down this road again.

Had it 2 weeks now. Driving it is effortless. Handles well. We always get a 2 or 3 year old vehicle and let someone else take the hit. This is 5 years ago but in great shape AND 2 or 3 year olds were close to a trillion dollars so Musk can get those, not me. Put a cover on the back already and will install running boards today (my wife's NOT tall). This is for a short commute to work but mostly to tow our camping trailer as we're creeping up on full retirement. Tucson gets HOT for about 4 or 5 months and I've already paid my dues. Ha. Interior design is fine, I don't need fancy. Great sound system. Lifted enough for rough roads out in the sticks. 1st 4 door I've owned. Luvit. Had an 01 King Cab that was bullet proof. Sold it eventually because I'm not that bright. Recommend it to anyone.
