I absolutely love this car and all it’s features even though it doesn’t open and close trunk via keyphobe. Kids love the car especially the panoramic sunroof.

Fast quick and effective. Went to 3 stores before theirs and theyre the only ones that found, diagnosed and fixed the problem. Enjoyable waiting room and price was reasonable

30mpg avg with the longest and widest roof rail base for outdoor gear at a price that made sense. 2nd row middle seat folds down individually for skis and paddles. Remote start on the vw app is great for cooling the interior down on a 100 degree day from a distance. Rear seat door opening and leg room is huge great for elders to enter easily and for parents loading car seats.

Josh was great! I called in morning...to pickup windshield wipers...picked up later in the day....and Josh helped to remove the damaged wipers and put on the new ones, he didn't have to do that. I appreciative the help and kindness. Thank you Gina Tedesco

I have owned this 2023 Tiguan SEL R line for almost a year. I have been absolutely satisfied with the quality, the ride, the fuel mileage and everything else about it. IMO it’s the best bang for the buck on the market. It is loaded with options and is still very affordable. I love this VW and , of course, I highly recommend it.

I got interested in this car when I rented it for a couple of days while conducting business out of town. I discovered that it suited my auto needs 100 percent, and at such a reasonable price. I am of a certain age and I find it more of a challenge to get in and out of cars. I don't like climbing up into and sliding down out of trucks and SUV. I don't like bending the slipping into sedans and having to pull myself out of them. The Tiguan comes closest to walking into the driver's sit and walking out. As for stowage, the stowage in the rear also is at perfect mid-thigh level, minimizing bending and lifting. So comfort was of highest priority. But economy comes in a close second, and so far the MPG is great. So is the pickup; it's plenty peppy.

I bought my very first brand new car from Towne Hyundai in 2012. I have been back for service maintenance many times since then and have always had a delightful experience. My door handle on my hatchback has been repaired and replaced two times and now is gone again. It is a 2017 Wolfsburg and I am not pleased with the cost of 1200. I wouldn’t mind but they are only lasting two years. Ridiculous. Can’ use my hatchback.

Andrew at the Alden store made buying my new car very painless. Though there were some hiccups in the process, not directly the dealers fault, Andrew made sure to keep me updated and got my car to me as soon as possible.

Our family of 5 has traveled across US, Canada, & many many daily city miles, in our Tiguan (almost 200k) with solid performance. General maintenance, & a loose nut on window regulator. Acceleration slowed but spray clean of mass air flow (MAF) sensor solved issue. Seats are comfy enough but maybe less engineered for 1,000-mile trips. 2018 infotech was quirky, but good enough. Folding 3rd row, full sun & added hitch for bikes etc. make this smallish SUV super convenient for city as well as long trips.

Inquired about a truck on Friday,very quick communication from Adam at the dealership. Barbie in finance was very helpful.Brought the truck on Wednesday, literally 10 minutes at the dealership. It's a medium-sized SUV. It's not a Porsche, Audi or MB. It is comfortable, reliable, the size and capacity I sought. In two years I've put on ~24K miles and absolutely no problems. My wife is handicapped and uses a walker. She thought the car was comfortable and we made two round trips from Hartford, CT to Key West. In the last 60 years We've had a Beetle, Passat, and a VW Bus that carried our family of four and 2 Dachshunds aacross the country and back to Connecticut - Twice!

I was contacted by salesman Jadon shortly after signing up for a test drive promotion by Ford. During the test drive at Dave Smith, Jadon was very informative with all ford was offering at the time (rebates, lease buyouts, etc.) and all of the features of both the 2017 and 2018 Ford Mustang Ecoboosts. As I wasn't ready to buy for a couple of months, Jadon kept in contact and was very responsive to every question and concern I had. When I decided on a model located at an out of town dealership, Jadon was quick to assure me that they could retrieve it. A week later, after the quickest buying process I have experienced along with the lowest finance rate I could find, I am loving my 2017 Ford Mustang Ecoboost in lightning blue. Very impressed with overall experience. No nagging salesman trying to upsell you, but rather very responsive to every need.

This car is far superior to my previous 2021 Toyota RA4. In my distant youth I use to do some racing and handling is highest priority. Suspension, steering, 17" alloy wheels vs 15" steel wheels with hubcaps, full spare tire vs doughnut, 3 row seating vs 2 rows, 400 lbs heavier therefore more stable in windy conditions and roads that are not level, and much more. Only downside is the general Volkswagen issue with poor sound systems. Not only that, the after market is almost non-existent for the Tiguan.

I've always absolutely loved this car for ALL of its awesomeness, but I decided to write this review today because my Tiguan saved my life. I've owned it for 5 years and enjoyed all of it - for its reliability, performance, comfor, style - you name it. But today, thanks to this car and its safety (airbags performance in particular), I am still alive, so I wanted to write this review because this car truly deserves it. Thank you to all the people who've made this car.

Great car, quiet ride mostly for an SUV, glad I bought it, tested Honda CRV, Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sorrento, Chevrolet Equinox, Terrain, and many others, at that time I could not make a comparison with Toyota since there were none to be tested, the Tiguan stood above the others

I love the friendliness of this dealership. My wife has another manufacturer brand from across the street and their enthusiasm is lacking to say the least. Scott has been taking care of me for several years (even though I bought elsewhere) and after referring me to (Rob? Ron?) The Joe Basil dealership family includes a Classic Car dealer. I have purchased 2 classics from this dealer. Both vehicles were transported to Texas with transport worked into the deals. Both cars were bought site unseen - first time to ever do that for me! Sight unseen was quite nerve-wracking for me. Got it when VW had a 6-year warranty. Have had no problems. Reliable, fun to drive. Pano and 3rd row. An excellent family car and well appointed German engineering.

Looked at 2008 taurus that weren't sure about. Drove it, interior and exterior were in excellent shape. The car proved to be excellent. Andrew made the transaction terrific. NO pressure to buy NOW. Went back next day and bought it. Picking it up was just as easy. It was washed, waxed, and looked new. Drives great, low mileage for 10 yr old car, check these guys out.

My 2018 VW Tiguan has been good to me, I bought it 3 years ago, no major issues with the engine or transmission. In April I replaced the driver side window master switch. I order it on eBay and put it in myself. Beside that no issues at all keeping my fingers crossed.

Towne is a wonderful place to shop for a vehicle and I leased two Jeep’s from them. I am now kind of sad my salesman Greg did not reach out to me and try to keep me as a customer when I told him about a lower price quote from another dealership while shopping for a new Jeep. I waited a week and he never contacted me to see if he could work out some kind of deal with me as a current customer. His only response was he can’t match that other quote without even trying to rework the numbers And I never heard back from him.

Nice riding vehicle EXCEPT it has a hesitation issue when you step on the gas from a standstill. Happens most when the "stop/start" is active, less when you turn it off but it still hesitates. Dealer has no answer other than it is normal and we can't find anything. Others have voiced same concern, recall?

I am a person that gets so stressed just thinking about car dealership. Crazy cheap cars made it so easy. Was not stressed at all we worked with Tony he has honest. Help through the whole process no pressure. It is nice to have someone help me feel comfortable with my decision. Tony is down to earth, felt like family just talking with him. I really love the feel and comfort of this vehicle. It serves my family of 4 well. I am the 2nd owner at 13,000 miles. Only issue so far is the oil consumption. After only driving the car 600 miles after my first oil change, check oil light came on. It was a qt. low. I am now in the process of getting it checked at my local VW dealer. Will update on outcome.

I purchased a 2014 Ford Transit from this dealership last week. Andrew, as well as the owner, were very professional and easy to work with. The Transit was sold at a very fair price and I was able to drive it off the lot sooner than expected. Overall, it was a very pleasant and stress-free purchase with a friendly staff.

Best car I’ve ever owned. I bought it used with 10k miles for $17.5k in 2018. I’ve drove for Lyft for 2 years and recently drove it from California to South Carolina. It’s has never broke down, had to replace the tires a few times but nothing but basic maintenance. I’m at 112k miles and going strong. One small accident the other 2 cars were totaled mine had minor damage on the front driver side. I love my VW.

I have a 2021 Tiguan SE 4 Motion, I have the car for over a year and with 11,000 miles. I give this car a general 4 stars. It’s a great car, very stable, great MPG, the air condition is very cold, road noise is very minimal, great driving view. Very comfortable to everyone except the driver seat, the middle armrest is low and further to the back, the door armrest is low, I have to drive with 2 small billows on long road trips. All other seats are very comfortable. The 3rd. Row is very very tight. The interior dash design is outdated, there is NO end call button on the steering wheel. Performance is good but 30-40 more horse power will definitely makes a difference. Value for money is great, but not for a resale! If you are planning to keep a car for a long time buy it. Exterior design I love it. Reliability, with less than 200 mile I had a cruise control fault, took it to the dealer it was fixed for over $1,000 but it was under warranty, two months later the problem came back again. At 8000 miles I had an engine light, EPC light (electronic power control system) something to do with the engine, and the car lost power, I took it to the dealer and there was a misfire on engine cylinder number 3. I still love my car, I would buy it again, and I hope that it will last for 10 years minimum.

Rob and kim helped get me into a used 2008 Passat with an extended warranty, which I've used, and the service was great getting me into a loaner during the extended repairs. The sale price was unbeatable anywhere around, but I went here because my parents and brother have had cars from here and we've all had a great experience overall.

I chose this Tiguan as it is large enough for me to carry my skis inside. It is extremely good on gas. It is very quiet on the road handles very well is very comfortable and is loaded with many safety and convenience features that I did not know I would even appreciate. It is very comfortable and enjoyable to drive.

Drove all the way in in from Rochester area to VW of Orchard Park to purchase my Volkswagen Golf from Volkswagen of Orchard Park. Jay Williams, my salesperson, was friendly and not pushy at all.
