I bought this and have no complaints. It is a solid ride, super fast and fun to drive. It is very futuristic and I think it will hold its value mostly because there will be few sold due to tariffs and trumps anti EV stance. If VW could sell the cargo version in the US, there would be a million on our roads within a couple of years. I love my ID Buzz and am excited to drive spending less than $1.00 to go 30 miles.

There was no need to haggle just sign and drive. I highly recommend this place if your looking for a quality used car. This vehicle is almost new. That’s because carmax cares about what they sell. If you know your price ahead of time this is your place. They got me out the door in less than 2 hrs. Those of you who have purchased cars that could be an all day affair. Everyone was friendly . VW of Akron is highly recommended my wife and me; this is truly a five star dealership. You definitely need to visit them when looking for a vehicle. The whole car exploration and buying process is stress free and so different from what we’ve had been accustomed to. I am definitely keeping VW of Akron high on my list for future buys. Each of the staff we met are honest, open, friendly, patient, professional and knowledgeable. We met primarily with Ammar, who sincerely listened to our situation and then provided us with a VW ID.4 to drive freely and unaccompanied around Akron. (BTW, we found the ID.4 is very comfortable inside, rides well, is well built and performs well). Upon our return to the dealership, after hearing our thoughts, Ammar spent several hours providing details and answering questions regarding the ID.4 to ensure we were comfortable with proceeding. After telling him we would like to proceed, he worked hard with his manager, Matt, to find the car with options which we wanted (VW Corp had just that day shutdown factory ordering of The ID.4). When our ID.4 arrived, there was some confusion regarding our choice of equipment options (‘what we thought we were getting vs what was there). The manager, Matt voluntarily stepped in and said he would take care of the problem without our incurring any cost. In talking with him, ‘found him to be a good, reputable guy and apparent good leader (rather than just a manager). So, ‘on to paying and paper signing (usually this part the really raises my ire). We met with AJ who told us about various payment methods in addition to what my wife and I had earlier explained and wanted. AJ came up with a good plan to save us money over what we had originally considered doing. After that AJ presented us with the usual dealer provided/applied optional amenities (I thought, here we go - you know, the often high pressure arguments - ‘the ”You really need this” items’ - (to be clear, at other places, not VW Akron); ‘these are such items as additional sound deadening, lifetime muffler bearing grease jobs and/ or insurance protection against flying saucer attack – maybe I exaggerate just a bit but you know what I mean). However, AJ started off indicating what they offer was just for our consideration – no pressure. Well, first note that, his offers were for reasonable items (‘no T-Rex repellent). But then, I really didn’t want any of the offers and there was neither badgering nor debating as I declined them. Much Kudos to AJ. On the day of pickup, Ammar, in typical character, brought our car out and first spent a good bit of time looking it over and checking it out to make sure all was right. He then sat with my wife in the car (it’s her primary vehicle) for a good while to make sure she understood all the controls and functions. I also want to say that I met with several others of the people in parts and service; all exhibited the same honesty, friendliness and professionalism as Ammar, AJ and Matt. Bottom line - you would be hard pressed to find a better dealership or buying experience; do yourself a favor & stop in when you’re looking for a car. Rick

This is the ideal, least expensive RV, and I was the second owner. I drove it back and forth from MI to FLA numerous winter escapes and the FWD was amazing, even in the snow. Sadly, the automatic trany went out at 120K mi., after 20 years of great service to me and my kids. As soon as my credit rebounds after a bad spell, I'm looking for another one, although a Ford Transit Connect with FWD looks interesting, but without the wonderful Winnebago interior, pop top, etc.
