This car brings me joy - pure, joy. It's thought of things I didn't even know possible and it doesn't do it in an overly luxurious / pompous way; though it certainly is luxurious, and in the most pragmatic way... I love its handling, styling, feeling of performance/safety/reliabilty...I had to write this - and I've never reviewed anything before in my life.

I don't buy cars very often & am somewhat intimidated by the expected high pressure sales process. Not the case here. I had done my homework & was ready to buy a specific car when I arrived. The price was right, the terms agreeable, the location conveniently close to home, the people friendly & informative. Maureen,Todd & the nice fellow from New Zealand made this a painless experience & took care of my needs almost before I knew what they were.These folks are an efficient & personable team. I bought the 22 model in Apr of 22 and had it about a year and the ac compressor went out. It took them a couple of months to get one and when they did they found that it had metal shavings all in the lines so they had to replace everything in the circuit. They gave us a loaner car for two weeks and so far it’s been working fine. Have had a couple of software updates so far but no other issues. Have just turned 10,000 miles. The transmission is jerky so I basically drive it around in sport mode to keep it from dropping into the highway gear. Overall we like it

Let's face it the CC is likely the best looking midsize sedan on the market. It's got the famous 2.0T to back it up. Sure it gives up a bit of headroom but it is loaded...stock. Everything from power and heated front seats to adaptive lighting. The suspension could have been better tuned as it's a bit harsh and floaty at the same time but in everyday driving it's very competent. This thing is a looker!

I made an appointment with a sales person who contacted me by phone in response to a website enquiry I made. The sales person was waiting for me when I arrived, took me out for a test drive and handled the sale thoroughly and professionally. There were one or two minor maintenance issues I wanted the service department to check before taking the car, so they kept it over the weekend. The service manager called on Monday to update status and kept me informed. I picked up the car on Tuesday and have been pleased with it. Price was what should be expected for the make, model and mileage according to Cars.com, NADA and Kelly Bluebook.

Bought a 2016 CPO with about 65k miles. (Never had to use the warranty). 1.8 L turbo engine has surprising low end torque and lots of highway passing HP. GREAT MPG! Lots of leg room for all passengers. A really great road trip car. Lost it in a crash @ 110k :(

The car meets a perfect speed standard for specific drivers, if you want power when you need to pass somebody or just got a nice long road you want to open it up on, you can do it, very well if I must say, the 2.0t is a amazing motor overall, so many different things you can do with it power wise, just overall a great balance car, butttt your back seat is not the best in a 2 door, which is what I have lol, oh well

I have never bought a car so easy as I did here. The process was quick and painless just the way I like it. The finance part for the car took like a 10 minute process. The no haggle price is the price and there's no back office person dictating the sales rep to get more money more money on the sale. It's all done at the desk you sit at drone start to finish, just you and the sales rep. I rolled out in my new car in a half hour total.. Loved it(and car is awesome too)

I bought a lease turn-in and it had 31k miles. So far, this car is in mint condition and rides and drives like a dream with a 4 cylinder turbo engine and no problems so far. This is a great looking, very roomy German vehicle with style and passaze. I hope this car last for many years to come.

We bought a used 2019 a month ago. I wasn't aware of these. As I researched a replacement for my wife's GMC Terrain, I learned about all of the bad CVT transmissions and oil burning engines in that class. Happened on a used Alltrack for sale at a dealer and as I researched the dsg transmission and looked up reviews - I was pretty excited by what I read. We have taken in on one 6-hour trip through the mountains and several 3-hour family visits. I love driving it. Probably my favorite car I have driven other than my old 2000 Volvo S70. It seems to be very well built. It is insanely quiet on the road and it has great acceleration. We travel with two kids and two dogs and it zips right up mountain passes, rarely cracking 3k rpm. I wish we had about 2 more inches in the trunk for our kennel, but it is a large space. I am anxious to try the AWD in some Montana snow this winter. Sadly its my wife's driver, but I get to drive it on trip!

My wife and I bought a late-model used Hyundai Sonata over the MLK holiday weekend. We had been monitoring Cars.com for a couple of weeks and found one we liked here at Beaverton Car Company. We called ahead as we live about 200 miles away and didn't want to make the drive without checking availability. We spoke with Blake Woodard, and Blake confirmed he'd have the car ready for us to look over when we arrived the next day. We made the trip down on the Sunday of MLK holiday weekend. The car was out front, clean and ready to look over. After checking our driver licenses and insurance, we took a test drive, did some driving in-town and on country roads. We decided to buy, did a little bargaining and saved some money from what was already a reasonable price. We filled the tank and drove the car home that day. Overall a positive experience with Blake and the rest of the dealership.

This car has been, without a doubt, the best vehicle I've ever owned. From its reliable performance to its comfortable interior, every aspect of this car has exceeded my expectations. The engine is powerful yet fuel-efficient, making long drives both enjoyable and economical. The handling is smooth, and the ride quality is superb, even on rough roads.

CarPlay, turbocharged engine, compact, easy parking (that's a big deal in LA!). It's easy to why there's a whole community around the obsession with the Golf!

I was initially looking for a used Golf, but the more I looked at the Beetle the more I liked it. When I found the one I ended up buying, it was love at first drive. This little car packs a punch with the 2.0T, and will throw you back in your seat. It’s an absolute blast to drive. Handles well around town and on the interstate, where it could easily get one in trouble since it wants to GO. The same engine as is found in the GTI, so this should be unsurprising. Easily gets 30+mpg on the highway when cruising along, typically around 20-25 city. These cars handle city driving just fine, but they are meant for the freeway in my opinion. I find the interior to be quite luxurious. Heated leather seats (not available in the Golf) with plenty of storage compartments. Not many frills, just a sleek and mostly practical dash. The trunk is big enough for grocery runs, and the rear seats fold forward for larger loads. It’s not going to haul large appliances or furniture, although it could possibly carry some bigger stuff on a roof rack. The Fender audio system is impressive, wouldn’t change a thing about it except it could benefit from an updated head unit with CarPlay. This hasn’t been an issue for me. I think the car is a real looker, it turns heads and has drawn the occasional compliment. My used model had some imperfections, but it’s still a great looking car that I want to look after and keep for as long as I can. It feels well built, the doors close with the satisfying weighty thud of a premium vehicle. Overall, I am very happy with my 2013 beetle. It’s not only fun, but it seems to be reliable with a couple caveats that some owners might not be aware of. The 2.0T engine is designed for premium fuel, using regular will eventually damage it. The 2.5 can run regular, but I believe the 1.8T will also want premium. The reason for this is lower octane fuel will cause detonation in these high compression engines. If you don’t know what detonation is, just know it’s bad. The oil needs changed more regularly than the manufacturer recommended 10k miles. 5k to be safe, 7k at a stretch. This is especially true for higher mileage vehicles. Speaking of stretch, there is a known issue with some 2.0T engines where the timing chain stretches over time and many miles, so if buying used that’s something I’d have a mechanic check out. This is an expensive maintenance item, but IF it’s needed, getting it done along with the tensioner and a new water pump for good measure will ensure that the new to you Beetle is reliable for many years and miles to come. The other issue is carbon build up. Getting it cleaned out is not as spendy as the timing chain but it’s also not a cheap fix. I believe this can largely be avoided by using top tier fuel (it contains detergents that help with this) as well as regular oil changes and some regular spirited driving. Would not recommend this car to someone who mainly does town or city driving, the 2.5 engine might be better suited for that. According to my research, the 2.5 is quite bulletproof BUT it’s not good for any engine to be driven at low RPM all the time.

I purchased a 2014 MB C 250 sport/Luxury in February of 2017. The car is beyond my expectations. This particular car had many options not generally seen in most C class vehicles and with low mileage. Still, I believe I paid an extremely fair price for the car. The car is a joy to drive and handles like a much more expensive car and looks like it too! It's pure class! And as an added bonus, the 4 cylinder turbo sport engine gets terrific mileage. Just a wonderful, wonderful car. My salesperson, Jason was extremely kind, helpful, patient and very knowledgeable about the car, the brand as well as the other vehicles in the showroom. The rest of the sales team were also very accommodating and engaging, asking if I needed anything such as coffee or water. The terrific gal in the finance department (I sincerely apologize for forgetting her name) was so kind and super efficient! Thank you! Thank you! The dealership and its location in Portland is beautiful and the indoor showroom makes shopping for a car a very pleasant experience indeed. My husband and I have often told our friends about Freeman Motor Company and encourage them to visit. I never even thought about an electric vehicle I did not think I could afford it so I went to the dealership and they had the ID for xxxxxx2021 for a deal that I could afford. I took it. I must say I love this car and a lot of ways it’s very comfortable. It looks great. It’s well made it is fun there are a few things I don’t like the cap where you plug-in the electric fell off and the driver side vent. My biggest issue with this car is the range it irks me to end it says 260 mile range I get you’re probably never get that but I’d like to get close. The most this car has ever got is 205 miles average about 189 to 200 mile range and this is not acceptable. I am in sales 250 mile range is great but to get less than 200 is not acceptable. Specially, over the car is this expensive. The color I love but underneath the door that panel gets very dull very quickly. It is also stressful because there’s not enough rapid chargers in Los Angeles. Part of the reason is I cannot have a charger at my apartment, so I have to struggle and try to find a rapid charger and there’s not enough of those around. Accommodate everyone. The infrastructure is building more level two chargers, which we don’t need. We need rapid chargers. I seen people almost fight overcharging stations. If I had to do this over again, I would’ve not bought this car at this time because of the lack of the charging stations but I actually do love it and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to gasoline again.

This car is meant to perform. With regular maintenance and wear an tear items the vehicle has been great and reliable. Been doing Volkswagens for over 20 years now. Even though I work on them myself and for many others in my area these cars are amazing and fit my personal needs for performance and style. As well as luxury.

We bought our 2012 VW Passat brand new and now it only has 80,000 miles on it. It has only needed tires, battery, and regular maintenance. Equipped with the five-cylinder engine it could use more power but has not used a drop of oil since we have owned it.
