This Beetle was my car that I traded in recently for a new Tiguan. The car was excellent, and always reliable. We wanted to own one of the last Beetles made, and glad that we purchased it from Mt. Prospect VW (AutoBarn) four years ago. Whoever purchases this bug, is getting a great car, and we will miss it!

I bought a 2022 Taos and drove it for 3 1/2 years. I liked the car so much that I bought a 2025 Taos. My wife is now driving the 2022 and I am driving the 2025. Both cars are pure joy to sit in and to drive. The interior and legroom are spacious. The only negatives are the VW does not offer a power, passenger seat and a power hatch closer. Other than that, it is the perfect vehicle for us.

Like the headline says, "It's a Karmann Ghia!" Even though it's basically a 1971 Standard Beetle, the styling is like nothing else that produced by Volkswagen then, before, or since. I got it for $750 for my 15th birthday. it was 1973 Volkswagen SuperBeetle (upgraded McPherson Suspension, different trims etc) I spend next five year rebuild the beetle and engine. it was my favorite car to work on everything was so easy to work on and parts are ready available all over the world.

Our 2022 Taos is almost 2 years old with about 21K mileage. Very satisfied with our car. For the price point (25K) it provides good handling, a comfortable ride and great interior space for a subcompact SUV. The gas mileage is amazing at over 40 MPG on the highway and about 30 MPG tooling around town. Couldn't be happier!
