Hiland Toyota is an exceptionally honest dealership. I made a deal online with Internet Manager Lonnie Tapscott and flew 2,000 miles to pick up a used car. Lonnie even gave me a ride from my hotel - five star service. The car was visibly indistinguishable from new inside and out. No wear, no door dings, not a single paint swirl, nada. After a short test drive, I signed two documents and was on the road in five minutes - easiest dealership closing process I have ever seen. During my four day trip home, it was determined that the front tires, despite having adequate remaining tread, had split due to age and sun exposure. As they were unsafe for the highway I replaced them at my expense and let Lonnie know the Service Dept could possibly improve their tire inspection process. To my great surprise, Hiland offered to send me a check for the full cost of both tires. They knew the chance of me being a repeat customer from five states away was low but they wanted to do the Right Thing. This is a dealer you can trust to keep their word, which is rare. I will keep my eye on their inventory and heartily endorse them for anyone looking for a car locally or from outside Moline. Very impressive operation.

Overall I'm satisfying with the car I have no issue till now the car is running 55,000 mile over, still I don't have any major problem. The space is huge inside that car that is more satisfying even if you sit in the third row and adult person can sit comfortably.

The Passat is a solid sedan and very reliable. I like the way it drives and feels on the road. The interior is very good size with more backseat and trunk room by far. The R Line is the best

Because I received no Owner's Manual (supposedly back-ordered), I might as well be driving a random rental. Without the manual, I am unable to use or unaware of many of the latest features. The basic driving features such as acceleration, braking, steering, and road feel are good. The hatch-back vs. trunk along with folding rear seats creates a wonderfully large carrying space. On the negative side, there is a noticeable vibration at idle and the shifts are clunky. Overall, I am pleased with the car since it suits my needs nicely.

After over 78000 miles, nothing but regular maintenance. Trip from Atlanta to Ohio, 40 mpg. In town mileage 31-32 mpg. Had a 2014 and it was a great car as well. Paid $16,999 on sale in 2017 on Passat S. Best car in 55 years of driving.

I love my Passat SE. My only complaint: being 6'1" I find it somewhat difficult to get in and out of the car. It sits too low. But once in the car it's most comfortable and a pleasure to drive. The driving assists and adaptive curse are marvelous. I think it's one of the nicest looking cars I've ever owned.

I have owned my 2021 VW Jetta for close to two years. I have very little negative things to say about the car. The car does have auto start-stop when stopped for red lights and other lengthy stops. This car handles well. It gets on highways quickly. I have recorded gas on long trips 42 mpg. I get 32mpg around town. The Jetta looks nice. I have the gray color with black interior. It’s not like the BMW335 I owned but it is a good car for me. Currently over 36k miles with no issues. I take it in ever 10,000 miles for a check up and oil changes.

I drove from Meridian, MS to Birmingham, AL to get my car because of the awesome customer service from the initial phone call. Abdul was heaven sent! He not only got me into the vehicle I wanted with the price I wanted, but also coordinated dropping off my rental I was driving, bought us food, and even checked on us driving down to make sure we were safe. I have owned many cars, but have NEVER received the compliments like I do on this vehicle. I have a 2019 VW Arteon SEL Premium R-Line 4 Motion. It now has 82,000 and I bought it with under 30,000 3 years ago. I love this car. I perform all scheduled maintenance, but otherwise have not spent a dime in the repair shop. Prior to the end of the manufacturer warranty, I purchased the extended warranty to 150k miles or 10 years. The vehicle has the most spacious back seat of any car out there, with a 6-3 person able to fit without knees touching with front seat set normally. One thing I have not seen mentioned is, that with all of the other amazing features, the car will perfectly parallel park itself and will let you know if a spot is big enough. I just learned about this myself in last month. I played with it and it works perfectly. All you do is shift and give a little gas, but it does all steering. I have taken several trips of hundreds of miles each. In this car, they are very comfortable and easy. The seat massage is sufficient and the ventilated seats work great. Mileage, performance, ride quality, and comfort are amazing. Recently, I had a new BMW X5 as a rental. I couldn’t wait to get back to my Arteon. Any Arteon owner will agree how magnificently they steer and drive. I love everything about this best kept secret in the auto business. I plan to keep this car till the wheels fall off. A first for me. I highly recommend this car. Thank you VW for making such an amazing vehicle. Oh, by the way, the Arteon was made in Germany and is of impeccable build quality, as we all expect from the Germans.

I've owned VW's off and on for years. My first Jetta was purchased in the 90's. Good car. It was nimble, comfortable and had really good gas mileage. It was different from the "Bug" and "Bus" but quite pleasing to own and look at. My current Jetta is a 2020 model year and I enjoy its looks, comfort, mileage and nimbleness. Volkswagens are truly the "peoples car".

Hey my guy I can tell you exactly what's wrong with it and the oil pump isn't it. It's 1 or 2 problems and those are going to be either your balance shafts have worn out and seized up or you intake cam phaser has worn out. But being it's not starting anymore I'm willing to bet money it's your balance shafts. Had the same problem with my 2.0T "Red Warning Oil pressure shut engine off light"

Took my 2015 SL400 in to correct a faulty trouble signal. Vehicle was taken right in and was promptly hooked up with a loaner. The issue was resolved by the end of the day and I picked it up next day. It all went smoothly.

They are very helpful when choosing a car and getting financing. There is no price haggling because the prices are extremely fair...and I know how to verify the value of a vehicle. I recently purchased a 2019 Nissan Sentra with all the fixins'. I purchased the car for about $900 less than any other dealership I shopped. Plus, it was in great condition, except for some minor things one would expect a used car to have...but their service department fixed them very quickly and perfectly. My last car I purchased at Auto City was a 2011 Chrysler 200 which had 54000 miles. I am still driving that car in the family and it currently has 218,000 miles. My son bought a Toyota Matrix and drove Uber for 3 years, trading it in with 230,000 miles. Another car bought was a Chevrolet Malibu that was purchased and is driving great with no problems and well over 100,000 miles. All of the cars we purchased had no problem other than an alternator, battery and minor things like that when cars reached over 160,000 miles, and this is to be expected. We never had any major issues with any car, and no problem until many miles later after purchase. My most recent purchase at Auto City took in to consideration that I was self-employed this time. Isaac Duran, the finance manager, did everything in his power to get financing with a lower interest rate, and he did it. All I can say is that if you go anywhere else, you will pay more, put up with weird sales games and miss out on an easy, positive experience in buying a car. And, to boot, they will stand by your car for 6 months, 6,000 miles along side the dealer warranty (they have a huge auto service department to ensure the cars they sell are good). They have always backed us up and made buying a car a positive, easy, confident and a no-risk transaction. Anywhere else I went to check, I always got the "weird-ar" pegging out. Very good, honest people and great cars, with no worries! This is a very positive review, but there is truly nothing I can complain about after buying all of our family cars there for years. Talk to salesperson Mike or Alex...they are both very helpful, friendly and know what they are doing. The sales manager is great and ensures everything goes quick, smooth and I get a good deal.
