Dealership did not get back with me for three days because it was the weekend and by then someone else had purchased the vehicle I was looking at. I had sent him a message asking him some questions about the vehicle before I made a decision to go to the dealership which is two hours away but they did not get back with me in time. After over 78000 miles, nothing but regular maintenance. Trip from Atlanta to Ohio, 40 mpg. In town mileage 31-32 mpg. Had a 2014 and it was a great car as well. Paid $16,999 on sale in 2017 on Passat S. Best car in 55 years of driving.

This was one of my favorite cars I test drove, but also one of the base models. It has a huge trunk and tons of room for a car seat or 2. Gets an average of 38-40mpg which is awesome for my driving to and from work.

The service provided is always outstanding, and the customer interaction is exceptionally positive! The dealer service recommendations are followed consistently. The biodegradable windshield washer hose is vulnerable to being eaten by rodents. Rodent-proof hose should be used.

I bought a 2014 VW Passat SE in 2014 Brand New. I have done all the recommended maintenance on the car since I bought it and I have never had it break on me. I just hit 100k last month. I was driving down the highway a few weeks ago and I hit what appeared to be a piece of concrete or asphalt in the road. It made a loud thud under my car and I immediately lost power and the car turned off. I had it towed to the dealership. Whatever I hit took out my fuel pump that is inside the gas tank. They charged me $2100 to fix it. So I can tell you first hand these cars are reliable if you do all the maintenance like you are supposed to. But when they do Break, they cost way more than they should to fix them!

Never owned a diesel, but very easy to get accustomed to. The Jetta is very comfortable and gets great gas mileage 45mpg. Jetta also has performance if you need or want it. Overall this car has turned me into a VW enthusiast.

This was our 25 year old son’s birthday present. (Had been in a wreck) Tito put the car in our driveway while we were at dinner. Keys inside a birthday box. A little Thompson swag bag. Price out the door was the same price to the penny as advertised. Car came with list of repairs that had been made in shop. (It was well used) a 3 month, 3000 mile power train warranty. The paperwork was easy and ready for me. Tom, the Finance Manager was wonderful. I’ve been to a lot of dealers, bought a lot of cars, but I have never been treated as well as I was at Thompson Sales. This is my 2nd Mk6 Jetta. The first one I leased had zero issues with it. It was a 2017 1.4t S trim. My current Jetta a 2016 Sport 1.8t trim is a great vehicle! I bought it in 2019 as a CPO with 38k miles and now it has 127,500 miles and counting! Has give me zero problems. All I’ve done was kept up with its regular maintenance. I’ve used it to get around town and for long trips. Great on gas, roomy, nice backup camera and Apple CarPlay still works with the factory head unit! It also has VW’s built in Navigation system and Sirius XM which has come in handy a few times. The trunk is spacious with rear seats that fold down. The center rear seat comes with an arm rest and a pass through to the trunk. I also love the heated two tones white and black leatherette seats that come with the Sport trim. Driving wise, it handles great with good acceleration for a compact sedan. Easy to park as well!

I had been searching nationwide for a VW Phaeton for roughly a year. Found what i hope is a decent example from this dealership. Jim was extremely helpful and the transaction went seamlessly. Trusting someone when buying a car across the country is something difficult to do when being able to inspect or visualize the car in person isn't an option. For the price i am extremely satisfied and barring anything outside of expected condition of an older car - i fully assume to be pleased with the entire purchase. Jim was responsive and answered any of the questions that I had and has followed through to help make sure the vehicle is loaded and shipped my direction. Barring a non-running vehicle upon arrival I don't see why I wouldn't highly recommend doing business with this dealership! To date the experience has been fantastic!

I love this car. Spacious, smooth, safer, economical both fuel and maintenance. I have owned this car from 2015 brand new, 10 years down the line and I’m still happy and won’t trade it for any other car. Done over 220000kms and still going strong. Kudos to VW in the Jetta 2015 model. No regrets.
