I got interested in this car when I rented it for a couple of days while conducting business out of town. I discovered that it suited my auto needs 100 percent, and at such a reasonable price. I am of a certain age and I find it more of a challenge to get in and out of cars. I don't like climbing up into and sliding down out of trucks and SUV. I don't like bending the slipping into sedans and having to pull myself out of them. The Tiguan comes closest to walking into the driver's sit and walking out. As for stowage, the stowage in the rear also is at perfect mid-thigh level, minimizing bending and lifting. So comfort was of highest priority. But economy comes in a close second, and so far the MPG is great. So is the pickup; it's plenty peppy.

I bought the 22 model in Apr of 22 and had it about a year and the ac compressor went out. It took them a couple of months to get one and when they did they found that it had metal shavings all in the lines so they had to replace everything in the circuit. They gave us a loaner car for two weeks and so far it’s been working fine. Have had a couple of software updates so far but no other issues. Have just turned 10,000 miles. The transmission is jerky so I basically drive it around in sport mode to keep it from dropping into the highway gear. Overall we like it

I got the SE V6, which handles very well. This is not a fast car from 0-to 60 in x seconds, because it is a heavy vehicle, but once it reaches cruise speed it is very responsive with good acceleration to pass comfortably in the freeway and will not slow you down in hill country. One minor detail was the phone wireless charging, not charging properly, I just removed the rubber cover, and it works perfectly, so I guess it is too thick. The wireless infotainment requires few seconds to get properly connected, so just be patient, because once it is connected it works just fine. After backing up, the camera stays on for few seconds, after switching to drive mode, but this dissapears once it it reaches 20mph , and at the same time the doors autolock. It is a nice safety feature. Mine has the ceiling moonroof, which is very nice. It is a reliable vehicle with proper handling for it's size with plenty of cargo and passenger space.

This is by far the best subcompact suv for the money. I absolutely love the 2024 taos se. It's loaded with awesome tech and has great acceleration.

Absolutely great experience buying a car this dealership. We are near San Francisco so we're able to take some test drives. Every car they offer was detailed to the hilt. The staff was super friendly and informative. We got a very satisfactory deal on a low milage EV. Despite the scary looking recalls my 2023 AWD Pro-s model has been 99.9% reliable. In comparison to my previous 2021 ID.4 pro-s which had several annoying system failures that necessitated immediate trips to the dealership. However the 2021 pro-s has the folding mirror option which I had expected to get in the 2023 pro-s but was very dissatisfied to learn it had been remover and put in the ‘+’ package. The mirror option should be offered as a standalone upgrade to all non ‘+’ 2023 and 2024 models as no $50k plus car should be without it.

Our 2022 Taos is almost 2 years old with about 21K mileage. Very satisfied with our car. For the price point (25K) it provides good handling, a comfortable ride and great interior space for a subcompact SUV. The gas mileage is amazing at over 40 MPG on the highway and about 30 MPG tooling around town. Couldn't be happier!

We worked with Diego Soto and finance manager John to purchase a new 2022 VW Tiguan. From start to purchase we had a very good experience. I never even thought about an electric vehicle I did not think I could afford it so I went to the dealership and they had the ID for xxxxxx2021 for a deal that I could afford. I took it. I must say I love this car and a lot of ways it’s very comfortable. It looks great. It’s well made it is fun there are a few things I don’t like the cap where you plug-in the electric fell off and the driver side vent. My biggest issue with this car is the range it irks me to end it says 260 mile range I get you’re probably never get that but I’d like to get close. The most this car has ever got is 205 miles average about 189 to 200 mile range and this is not acceptable. I am in sales 250 mile range is great but to get less than 200 is not acceptable. Specially, over the car is this expensive. The color I love but underneath the door that panel gets very dull very quickly. It is also stressful because there’s not enough rapid chargers in Los Angeles. Part of the reason is I cannot have a charger at my apartment, so I have to struggle and try to find a rapid charger and there’s not enough of those around. Accommodate everyone. The infrastructure is building more level two chargers, which we don’t need. We need rapid chargers. I seen people almost fight overcharging stations. If I had to do this over again, I would’ve not bought this car at this time because of the lack of the charging stations but I actually do love it and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to gasoline again.

2023 Taos really fits. Even having the S model. The SUV looks slick! Gas mileage is pretty darn good! And the response for a 4 cylinder is great! Really happy with my purchase! Best looking SUV youll find in the $25k-$30k area!

Volkswagen has an ongoing issue with the blender actuator in the dash for your vents. They have no idea about it yet I went to all the brand new cars on the line. They still are coming out like that. 2022 Volkswagen Taos se

Car is a gem. Lots of room, handles well and has the power I need. I have the V6. When compared to the other cars of its size I drove including BMW, Mercedes and Audi. You get a car that has the German quality and sophisticated engineering yet saves thousands. I love it.

Gary took the time to teach me all about my new car. I've never owned a new car before so the most modern thing I'd ever used is a CD player. Gary taught me about the navigation, setting up my Sirius radio, suspension settings in the car, back up camera, syncing my phone, everything!! Two days after I bought my car was daylight savings time and I didn't know how to change my clock. Charlie from service walked me through the process. I bought a Golf R and the manufacturer sent regular looking key fobs, so the service manager was nice enough to change out the plain chrome pieces for R chrome plates on my key fob. Then, Brian in the parts department did research for me on winter wheels and tires for playing in the snow all winter. People I didn't even know passed by me and congratulated and complimented me on my new car. These guys at Dublin Volkswagen are truly amazing!

This car brings me joy - pure, joy. It's thought of things I didn't even know possible and it doesn't do it in an overly luxurious / pompous way; though it certainly is luxurious, and in the most pragmatic way... I love its handling, styling, feeling of performance/safety/reliabilty...I had to write this - and I've never reviewed anything before in my life.

2023 VW ID.4 PRO S. 1 year this July of 24, 16000 miles. Before the latest software update of 3.1 or 3.5 we could the full state of charge was 300 Miles. After the update, the max SOC dropped to 253. But many software problems were fix. The 12V battery is stronger than the 2021 (they were updated later). Fast charge to 80% is 35 minutes or less. I charge at home in Arizona we have solar with SUNRUN. We installed a 50amp this provides us with using WALLBOX 11kw so for example, today Apr 8, 2024. to charge at home from 18% SOC to 80% took rounding up 3 hours. Not bad. March Electicy bill was $40. No expense for fuel and money saved.

I told him that I was only there to do a test drive and next thing I know I was getting signing the contract for my new car. I would recommend everyone to go and do more business with Peter and JB.

Love my 2023 ID.4! It’s extremely comfortable, drives great, gets good range (280 miles) and charges quite fast (180kW observed!). A lot to love about it, it’s a great crossover, roomy, good suspension, comfortable massaging seats!, nice features, the Travel Assist highway driver assist is excellent and is great for long road trips, the software is also good pretty responsive and not too buggy and I have not had any issues with it so far, the newer ID.4s have much better software than the first year 2021 models and apparently the 2021 models are getting updated. A lot of people complain about the ergonomics but I honestly find it to be a non issue for the most part, the steering wheel controls can be pressed like normal buttons and the sliders are responsive, also the window controls do not matter to me, the separate button for rear windows is not an issue, in fact it helps me from not rolling down the rear windows unintentionally. I really, really think the control issues on this car are overblown because within a day I was perfectly comfortable with all of it. The only issue I have with the controls is that the center sliders are not illuminated at night for some reason which is dumb but my muscle memory adapted quite quickly to it. The EV part of it is great, like I said it charges very well and has a good charging curve, the range is good, and the electric motors are well calibrated. The only other issues I have is that the stereo isn’t excellent for $50k, it is ok, it is not bad, but it is not a great stereo. Also the already mentioned not illuminated sliders. The app could also be better, but I do not care too much as I just use the keys and it works well. Also would like to see one pedal driving. But that is it, they are not big issues. I would absolutely recommend it to others, in fact I already have! It is really a great car!

Linda handled the paper work which was very complicated due to my being a 100% disabled vet and entitled to special plates This is the first dealership I have encountered who knew how to process the asinine, paper work required by the DMV,[ dept. of mutual vilification ].

Just bought a 2021 1st edition which is pretty much the same as a 2022 xxxxxxw/ Gradient package. Love, love, love this vehicle. Since I have the RWD I am waiting for my reserved AWD to be delivered, if given a bargain for my 1st edition as a trade in, I will trade up to the 2022, if not I'd be just as happy keeping my 1st edition.

After spending seven months and 10,000 miles with the RWD ID4 Pro S, we're still thrilled with this car. Our family of five fits (and rides) comfortably in our trips around town. It's nimble and accelerates faster than any of my past cars. Our range is usually at or better than advertised (except in cold weather--which is true of all EVs). The low cost of operating the car means that we'll usually drive this car on our road trips instead of our minivan, as we can also fit all the luggage we need in the spacious cargo area. While we typically charge at home, we've also charged over thirty times at Electrify America stations without fail--and quickly at that. I also fitted an aftermarket hitch to the car so I can use a bike rack to get our family's bikes around town and to the trails. So what holds this car from a better score? I'd prefer a few more physical buttons as opposed to operating things like air conditioning from the infotainment screen, especially when the infotainment center is slower to respond than a typical smartphone. The scheduled charging feature (to charge only overnight for cheaper electricity rates) doesn't work with the current software version--and US models haven't yet received any of the promised software updates. And the piano black finish on many spaces of the interior is a fingerprint magnet. In other words, small complaints aren't enough to keep us from highly recommending the ID4!
