Great value for your money. Surpassed toyota canary for price and value. Only downside small 6.5 screen other than that the gas mileage is through the roof.

I bought a 2022 Taos and drove it for 3 1/2 years. I liked the car so much that I bought a 2025 Taos. My wife is now driving the 2022 and I am driving the 2025. Both cars are pure joy to sit in and to drive. The interior and legroom are spacious. The only negatives are the VW does not offer a power, passenger seat and a power hatch closer. Other than that, it is the perfect vehicle for us.

I bought the 22 model in Apr of 22 and had it about a year and the ac compressor went out. It took them a couple of months to get one and when they did they found that it had metal shavings all in the lines so they had to replace everything in the circuit. They gave us a loaner car for two weeks and so far it’s been working fine. Have had a couple of software updates so far but no other issues. Have just turned 10,000 miles. The transmission is jerky so I basically drive it around in sport mode to keep it from dropping into the highway gear. Overall we like it

This is by far the best subcompact suv for the money. I absolutely love the 2024 taos se. It's loaded with awesome tech and has great acceleration.

Went in to look at a 2022 outlander. Worked with Daniel. He was great to work with understood my car buying frustrations and was up front and honest. Worked out a good deal. But I ended up going a different route. Finding honest up front sales people is like finding a needle in a hay stack these days would definitely consider them in the future when I am on the market for a new vehicle in the future.

Purchased new Taos SE AWD end of April. Only have about 1,700 miles on it so far but I am very impressed. Fit and finish are great; rides smoothly and quietly. Many features on the vehicle for the money. 8 speed trans is seamless in its operation. Engine idles so quietly that my wife asked me why I had shut off engine when it was idling in a parking spot. Only concern (and it’s a very minor one) is need for more horsepower. I know that the’25 Taos has 17 more horsepower than the’22-‘24 models, but vehicle still feels like it needs more on inclines with four people in the car and when driving into high winds. But that is the only concern; made a great decision when I bought this car.

I can only say that I thought it was a simply delicious experience.

John understood my needs and responded quickly with Jeeps to review - after a bit of humming and hawing on my part, I changed my mind to trucks. I found a truck at another facility, John had it tranferred and within 2 days my soon to be truck arrived - and it is a beauty. John was training Matt and they both demonstrated immense knowledge throughout the interaction and I appreciated the ease of communication (not pushy). I cannot comment on the financing portion of the transaction, but closing went just as smoothly with Hubert and his supervisor. WHile impressed with my transaction I was also impressed with the amount of time that was placed on the training of new employees, or employees transferring. While yes my truck need a repair on the fog lights, it is covered under their warranty, I am highly impressed with my experience. From walking in the front door, to having John take my picture of me and my truck with a giant yellow ribbon... every individual at Carmax truly made the buying and trading experience a wonderful experience. This is my 2nd Mk6 Jetta. The first one I leased had zero issues with it. It was a 2017 1.4t S trim. My current Jetta a 2016 Sport 1.8t trim is a great vehicle! I bought it in 2019 as a CPO with 38k miles and now it has 127,500 miles and counting! Has give me zero problems. All I’ve done was kept up with its regular maintenance. I’ve used it to get around town and for long trips. Great on gas, roomy, nice backup camera and Apple CarPlay still works with the factory head unit! It also has VW’s built in Navigation system and Sirius XM which has come in handy a few times. The trunk is spacious with rear seats that fold down. The center rear seat comes with an arm rest and a pass through to the trunk. I also love the heated two tones white and black leatherette seats that come with the Sport trim. Driving wise, it handles great with good acceleration for a compact sedan. Easy to park as well!

Every one I met here were extremely nice and very welcoming, they answered every question I had and I would definitely recommend this place for vehicle shopping.

Love this car. Had a hybrid but lithium battery started having problems. I got rid of it. I now have the Passat. Very happy! You’ll Love it!

I wouldn't take my time to write this review, but after I saw the negative reviews I decided to share my opinion. I had a great experience at Herz and I always send anyone asking there. Today a friend of mine showed me the bad reviews on this website and asked me if I am sure that this is the place. I showed him great reviews that Hertz has on other websites and decided to write this one.We purchased 2017 Altima and they even called us when they received the second key. THere was no presure for getting warranty, etc and we got a great rate. You should go and check for yourself.

We test drove a vehicle here and had a really great experience. The salesman, Tim, was phenomenal - very friendly and informative; I would highly recommend anyone ask for him if they visit! We were able to fully inspect the car, including getting it up onto a lift. The entire process was easy, low-pressure, and customer-focused. We ended up purchasing a different car from a dealership where we had a horrible buying experience, which has definitely convinced me that the CarMax sales model is absolutely the way to go. I will definitely be coming to CarMax first for my next purchase. This is just the better way to buy a car.

9/2017 purchase offered significant dealer and MFG discounting....................OTD Jetta S with the manual shift was $1437.05. At 68,000 miles I've not had a single issue. Fuelly says just under 41 MPG in 35/65 city/highway use. My best highway miles Sacramento - LA round trip was 50.3 on Interstate 5. esshift5

Never owned a diesel, but very easy to get accustomed to. The Jetta is very comfortable and gets great gas mileage 45mpg. Jetta also has performance if you need or want it. Overall this car has turned me into a VW enthusiast.

I was looking for a specific car that was at this CarMax. Problem was that I live in Minnesota, not Chicago and would have to traveling a great distance for a car I had not seen other than in pics, potentially risking wasting a great deal of time and money. I had to trust Jonathan, my salesman, to tell me the condition of the car where the pics could not. He was completely honest and the car was exactly what he said it was. I love this car! Have had it for 7 months. Very comfortable, charges quickly. The ride and performance are the best I have ever driven!

Our 2022 Taos is almost 2 years old with about 21K mileage. Very satisfied with our car. For the price point (25K) it provides good handling, a comfortable ride and great interior space for a subcompact SUV. The gas mileage is amazing at over 40 MPG on the highway and about 30 MPG tooling around town. Couldn't be happier!

GTI's do almost everything well. Economy, performance, flexibility, holds value, road car, back roads car, safety, comfort, feature-laden and now almost $10K less than the price of the average new vehicle. Two minor flaws IMO. All GTI's should have Golf R climate controls. Standard controls too confusing and fussy. Rather set it and forgot it. DSG is "still funky after all these years." Don't get me wrong, the lightning quick shifts and in-traffic ease are compelling, but DSGs can be clunky and feel strange at low speed and can't yet read all of your intentions correctly, thus some odd decisions/shifts on occasion. Not a fault, just a thing. Otherwise brilliant. GTI is among the contenders for "best" mass-produced combustion engine car of all time. Yes, that good. If shopping the used market, I would strongly suggest one try to get a Performance Package car. Much better brakes that won't need brake service as often and stop better. Also, the electronically controlled differential aids both traction and handling.

Bought a 2016 CPO with about 65k miles. (Never had to use the warranty). 1.8 L turbo engine has surprising low end torque and lots of highway passing HP. GREAT MPG! Lots of leg room for all passengers. A really great road trip car. Lost it in a crash @ 110k :(

What a great car. Very smooth in accelaration. Cannot feel the auto change. Great accelaeration and very comfatable and tight to drive. My insurance went down because of all the safety features on the car. Have to read the manual to understand them all. My only beef is that the diplay feature for sporty as in the manual does not come up. If its in the manual then VW should have it avalaible
