My friend and I asked a lot of questions and had more than a few debates with both the salesperson Rafael and the manager Jacob. Despite that, these two handled everything flawlessly. Rafael and Jacob are true professionals?calm, patient, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented. Their communication was clear, they never pressured me, and they took the time to explain every detail. After I bought the car, I noticed a few small things that I wasn?t completely satisfied with. I came back the next morning, and Jacob listened carefully, worked with me, and fully resolved my concerns. That level of follow-through and integrity is rare. I have owned 2 Volvo's and both have been amazing including the 22 XC60 PHEV. I once had to wait for a part for longer than I would have liked but I was in a service loaner that was an upgrade to my car so I'm not really complaining. Overall, the car is quick, great on gas when I'm not using Electric daily. It's comfortable, great to look at, it can tow small boats/campers and is great for a small family/couple. I couldn't have been happier, it was just what I needed before going all the way EV.

I have been at other dealers on the West Coast and Midwest , but I can honestly say that Smyth has been the very best. Doug, one of the service advisors was on top of what my Volvo needed to educating me as to what I should & shouldn’t do. My Volvo runs perfectly. Thank you Paul and Smyth. You are great.

The car has really nice performance and drives very nicely but a few quirks. First the manuals are only available digitally and in many cases it’s a complex game to find what you are looking for. The search function is not forgiving. In other cases the information is weak and missing key elements. Some settings are sticky (rain sensor for the wipers), others are not ( auto high-beams), with no rationale. The controls on the left side of the steering wheel are a mystery and the customization on the dash board view is either: show the map or don’t show the map ( which disappears when you shift into reverse). The sound controls for the radio are lacking: no fader or balance controls. Lastly, if you want your garage door opener controls integrated into the car, be prepared to shell out another $995.

I've known the service manger, Marc Kubil, for almost 20 years. I can't think of anyone more capable and trustworthy. He goes above and beyond to make sure you are competently satisfied. Robert Fellows is also outstanding, as is Jamir Garcia. At Volvo Oak Park, I'm treated like family, and have received consistently great service.

I love my volvo. I have one that is fully loaded, and it is so luxe and fun to drive. The turbo makes it literally zoomier than my husband's mustang, but it can also go all day without any gas at all if I need to use it in pure mode.

I bought my first Toyota RAV4 Hybrid in September 2022. It is a 2020 and rides like a 2022. I was soooo happy with the in-person service received from the sale with Jeff Krivickas, through the financing with Sam Piccolo and Justin Flook. Infotainment wasn't ready when I purchased the car. After approx 5 software updates in the first three months (mostly at the dealer), the car has been flawless. I now enjoy the Google interface very much, and love the car. I regularly get 45 miles e-range on easy highway drive, perfect for my commute. My car doesn't have air suspension, so the ride is arguably too firm for concrete pavement I have in my area. Could also be because of the curb rash-prone 20 inch wheels, I would choose an 18" wheel instead. Car materials and fit/finish are just superb, makes you feel special. It also makes driving my second car a chore :)

bought a 2023 in September. The electronic heater had to be replaced and the sun roof got a chip, but the performance has exceeded expectations. Had to put it on hybred because I didn't use enough gas on "Pure". 7 gal in Mar and April; 4 gal in May. Probably only average 40 miles a day or less. The 455 hp engine moves the car like a beast when needed. Smooth and quiet.

Interesting to read the good and bad about XC60 Recharge Volvos. I have a 2022 extended range Inscription purchased May 2022 with 8,400 miles. To date it has been perfect. Three over the air software upgrades thus far. Everything works good including the Google info system. Dashboard mapping excellent. Bowers and Wilkins stereo great. It typically charges to 39 or 40 miles. All in town driving via EV. It’s a bit of a bother, but I’ve been able to average as high as 39 mpg on a 400 trip massaging the drive modes. Made a 600 mile one day trip to Vegas last year no problem with one gas stop. Plug-in cars are the way to go on long trips as EV charging woes continue (except Tesla). Very comfortable highly adjustable seats. Nice to have first three years of service prepaid. Stick it in power mode and it’s very quick. No wireless Car Play, but I’ve been OK with Google system plugging in Car Play if needed. There aren’t many plug-ins with this sort of range available which made it a good choice. Long positive history with Volvos.

With 18 computer modules it takes some time to learn to operate all the essential controls. Because of the modules we opted to buy the extended warranty.

The service advisor Matthew was very polite, patient, helpful, knowledgeable and answered lots of my questions very well. During the 30000 mile maintenance, he and his crew found and root caused a rear brake issue and fixed it. It was because some parts were not lubricated well enough, the rear brake pads were worn unevenly, and the inner pad was gone while the outer one still had half thickness left, he helped contacted volvo to take care of the charges to replace the rear brakes pads and routers and lubricated the part well to prevent this from happening. The renovated dealership building is very beautiful, the seats were comfortable and wifi was fast, I like the area with 2 cubes where people can carry on their work while waiting.

The PHEV is perfect for short trips around town in all electric mode with the advantage of taking long trips with out range anxiety The car is extremely quiet and smooth with seamless power delivery

I wanted a car which would keep me safe, let me carry stuff, and be economical. The battery is big enough to allow me to do all my local trips without using gas and I typically only travel further a couple of times a week, so I average well over 50 mpg.
