We have just leased our third Lexus from Lexus of Rockville and our salesperson, YK Oyefusi. YK has always giving us outstanding service and attention. His upbeat personality and energy makes him a joy to work with. He has made the pain of car buying easy and less stressful by taking note of our likes, dislikes and budget. The whole team that we worked with make you feel valued and we really appreciate that. We could have gone anywhere, but when we thought about it, it only made sense to go back to YK and the folks at Lexus of Rockville.

First test drive the XC90 T8 very impressive with the performance, drove home on the highway car had a lot of vibration, I didn't expect neither suspected the tires of the brand new car would do that, for about 2 months I still still driving the car around town the vibration didn't bother me too much my first initial thought was the steering technology or how it worked then my AC is not working schedule an appointment going to take about 2 weeks in about 1 week later it working fine, I took it to get checked anyway, they replaced the compressor and new refrigerants , I took a long trip in the sommer, AC not working again, this time they changed the capacitor because it intermittent, in about 20000 miles the rechargeable battery wouldn't charge, dealer replaced the charger cable, now at 30000 miles the battery intermittent charging again, it takes two weeks to schedule in order for me to have a loaner to drive home, first time own European car and I did aware of the Volvo electrical issues but that was in the early 2000's, overall I enjoyed the car, handling and performance is great, the technology in there is helping my long drive alot and stuck in traffic PS: I still giving Volvo chance and pray for theirs engineers to get theirs act together.

My husband and I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and it was a great experience. Our salesperson Jeff was very knowledgeable and helpful, and our finance POC Sarah was wonderful also. The overall process was very smooth and we would definitely give them our business again.

You always judge the dealership by the quality of service and this is where BMW of Fairfax in my view above all in the area. They have a very professional and motivated team and they really take care of your car. I feel comfortable dropping it off because I know they will take care of it the same as I would. Konrad, the Manager of Service Department is a great leader. As for my buying experience, I prefer to build my car myself. I do not need much assistance except placing an order and taking the delivery. Petr is the expert with years of experience and passion. I bought this car in 2013 with less than 10K miles on it (certified pre-owned at the now closed Volvo dealer in Thousand Oaks, CA). I love this car, but I'm so glad I bought the maintenance contract along with the extended warranty. It has never let me down or had to be towed but it has had more than its fair share of warranty repairs. The suspension had some major issues but that may have been due to the poor quality roads and streets in Los Angeles. I will most likely be driving my C70 Volvo for many more years as I have no intention of ever selling it.

I have owned my 2013 S60 T6 AWD for a little over 2 years now and it is an exceptional car. The looks, the power, the handling, all around a very solid and capable vehicle. I have taken it on several road trips and every mile is a joy to drive - I have not had any serious issues and have just done regular maintenance. Would highly recommend the 3.0 T6 AWD S60 if you can find one!

The car has really nice performance and drives very nicely but a few quirks. First the manuals are only available digitally and in many cases it’s a complex game to find what you are looking for. The search function is not forgiving. In other cases the information is weak and missing key elements. Some settings are sticky (rain sensor for the wipers), others are not ( auto high-beams), with no rationale. The controls on the left side of the steering wheel are a mystery and the customization on the dash board view is either: show the map or don’t show the map ( which disappears when you shift into reverse). The sound controls for the radio are lacking: no fader or balance controls. Lastly, if you want your garage door opener controls integrated into the car, be prepared to shell out another $995.

After needing to replace my Infiniti Q40, I landed on the stylish Volvo S60. Coming from a 350bhp sports sedan, the S60 feels more like a smooth touring sedan rather than a performance machine—it’s a different breed, a more refined one. Comfort & Space At 6'1" and 240lbs, head clearance and shoulder width are non-negotiable for me when choosing a car. Many options, like the BMW 3 Series (which made me hit my head on entry/exit) and the Toyota Camry (too narrow in the shoulders), didn’t make the cut. The S60, however, offers ample leg and shoulder room, and the seats are incredibly comfortable. Performance The S60 is quick and smooth. My Infiniti was undeniably fast, and while the Volvo doesn’t compare in raw power, I never feel underwhelmed. It’s got enough pep to confidently pass traffic, and—based on experience—it’ll leave an X3 or X5 behind at the merge lane. 😄 Interior & Features The cabin design is sleek, luxurious, and built with high-quality materials. Everything feels solid, and the cupholders fit two large Owala or Yeti containers—something my Infiniti couldn’t manage. However, storage space is lacking; there’s no dedicated sunglass holder, and finding good spots for keys and wallets isn't ideal. Fuel Efficiency Fuel economy is impressive. Even with a heavy foot, I easily get 25mpg mixed, thanks to the mild hybrid setup. The power assist eliminates turbo lag, making acceleration smooth and responsive—while you won’t rival a true sports sedan, you won’t feel sluggish either. Driving Experience & Safety Highway cruising is effortless, and overtaking slow drivers is no problem. The self-driving functionality is excellent—on par with Subaru's Eyesight system, which outperforms Acura, Nissan/Infiniti, Toyota, and GM in my experience. Tech & Infotainment The Android Auto Operating System is sleek, and voice commands with "Hey Google" respond quickly. Google Maps, climate controls, and music apps like XM and Spotify work seamlessly. Unfortunately, it doesn’t cooperate with Waze or some other apps, which is disappointing. Apple CarPlay is available, but oddly, Android Auto isn't—a baffling omission. Supposedly, an update is already available, but my car won't update ITA so it requires a service center visit, so I’ll find out in about 9,000 miles when I take it in. A few frustrations: - No split-screen on the entertainment console—you must choose between the map or the radio, not both. - The gorgeous dash display will either show Google Maps with navigation or… nothing. Seems like a missed opportunity. - Heated seats aren’t standard, even in the Plus model. This car comes with a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and air purification, yet somehow, no heated seats? - The phone app for remote start is quick and easy, but you can’t adjust climate settings, which is frustrating. Final thoughts: Overall, I really like this car—it’s smooth, comfortable, stylish, and incredibly safe. The price is competitive, making it more affordable than some standard sedans. Sadly, 2025 will be its last production year in the U.S., but since the engine and drivetrain match the V60 and XC60—and the model remains available overseas—parts availability shouldn’t be a concern.

Try the T8/Recharge Model. My 22 has averaged 90 mpg over my first 3000 miles. Has plenty of oomph when needed too, would definitely recommend.

We were treated as if we were buying a brand-new Volvo. This time my husband and I worked with a new sales associate, Bea-Alice Sesay. Bea is courteous, personable, and answered all our questions (or checked with other DarCars staff for us). She responded quickly to emails and made our experience pleasant. This is my first all-electric car. Bea and her colleague, Manny, showed me all the car's features and spent time helping me understand the electronics. This is the first time I buy a car from a Jack Taylor Toyota dealership, and I had the best experience. Ebo Grant was very professional, patient and thorough. I felt absolutely no pressure and he made sure I had everything, and it was set up before I left. I med was also very helpful in the finance department, and Mike the manager. My first Toyota and I loved handling the team at Jack Taylor in Alexandria first class. Thanks to everyone who helped me, I highly recommend them if you want to buy a car.

This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.
