I loved my XC90 but traded it due to the cost of fuel. I drive 40 miles a day roundtrip to work. I would easily go through a tank of gas in four days. Best mileage I ever got was about 22 highway. The XC90 is a heavy SUV and shaped like a block. Not a lot of aerodynamics. As for comfort and luxury you can't go wrong the XC 90 is pure luxury and has great pickup and handling. Just be aware the mileage is not good.

This is my third Volvo and my favorite model of the three. It is the perfect car for me. It is a very comfortable car to drive. I love the design of the car. It has a lot of storage in the back. It has an easy system to pop down the seats for bigger loads. My XC 60 is a super nice looking car on the exterior too. It is a great car for around town and has also been perfect for longer road trips.

After I retired I knew any car that I bought from then on would probably be used. I live in rural Maine where winters are variable but always challenging with bouts of snow, freezing rain and cold. The State of Maine’s official policy is for all roads to be clear of ice and snow within 24 hours of the end of a storm so to accomplish this feat a lot of ice melt i spread which wrecks havoc with the ice and snow that covers the road but also will steadily eat away at the undersides and running components of cars. Thus for my cars I have found it necessary to shop online to buy a car that has never seen a Maine winter.. Now, shopping online for a “new” car is frightening to most people and that is easy to understand. So when I go shopping for a car I depend a lot on the visual presentation of the vehicle as well as any other clues about the nature of the dealership that holds the car for sale. There are many websites devoted to selling used cars and it was on one of them that I discovered the 2014 Mercedes Benz ML550 that I bought. I found it at Supreme Carriage in Wauconda, Illinois. I had been hunting for a Mercedes Benz SUV that had certain items of equipment necessary for my use here in Maine. There it was sparkling with not only the right equipment but the right use and maintenance history: Now for many people buying a car sight unseen located more than 1200 miles away might seem impossible. But from the deep information on the Supreme Carriage website the condition of the vehicle seemed to be outstanding. I had a fairly lengthy discussion with Shaun, the owner on the phone. Shaun is knowledgeable and seemed very familiar with the ML.. It was important that he had driven the car with his entire family aboard. I was impressed with his straightforward attitude, no sales pitch, no hype. Shaun also had a reasonable solution to the issue of transporting the car from his shop to my home and I felt comfortable leaving the details of that in his hands. (To be clear, I had done my own shopping for shipping the car and I couldn’t have flown to Illinois and driven the car to Maine for anywhere near the cost of shipping). Obviously this was a highly professional car dealer! So the price was right; the Impression I had formed of the person selling me the Mercedes was strong and the deal was struck on Friday. The car arrived in my driveway the next Thursday. Better still, once in my driveway, the Mercedes ML550 was better than had been described. So I am pleased to recommend Supreme Carriage and its owner Shaun to anyone for your next car regardless of what it might be. What you will get is an honest and straight forward car shopping experience whether you are standing there looking at the car before you buy it or live hundreds of miles away.

This is my fifth Volvo. My most important feature in any car is safety, and this car is SAFE. It is super comfortable, reliable, attractive, and an all around great car. I had XC70's until this XC90. It was tough to switch, but I'm so happy. My only disappointment is that I have two big dogs and they can't both fit in the way back comfortably, so I have a crate in the way back and a crate in the middle with two seats folded down (one up for a passenger). Otherwise, it's a "10." No issues at all at 4 years in.

I've owned this car for just over three years and this past weekend I crossed the 40k mile mark and if I was to go back and but this car at 40K miles, it probably would look and drive just like how I'd feel if I was buying this car today. It looks and feels just as new, and I could not be happier. Its a great looking car, I've clicked a million pictures of it and thought its been three years, it looks great and fresh and I'm sure, it will age really well. The design still looks just as new and will continue to look trendy a few years down the lane as well. The engine seems a little under-powered at times because at the end of the day its a mere 2-litre V-4 engine, but otherwise, the performance is decent. Its an extremely comfortable family SUV and in 5 seat mode it has loads of cargo capability. All in all its a great vehicle.

This is a well-designed and solidly built car. It is just what we needed for road trips, recreation exploration and zipping around town. Plenty of room for the size we were looking for. The front console is a little busy, but this is our first Volvo so we just need to adapt to the new layout.

This dealer had the used car I was looking for. The car had the right mileage and a clean fax. The dealership was 1 hour 20 minutes away from me heavy traffic all the way. I figured I would call and ask about the car anyway but I wasn’t planning to drive there. I talked to Phil, a sales rep, and what a gentleman he was. He told me the car was a trade-in and was in fantastic condition. Well, he talked me into driving down there. I arrived about 10 in the morning and left with my new used car by 1:30 that afternoon. I walked Phil through my 128 point inspection, 2 test drives and I ending up looking under the car for any problems. I could not find anything wrong. The car was in great condition just as Phil had described. Phil was a perfect gentleman through the whole process. Every dealership employee I encountered could not do enough for me. I bought my 2012 C70 in Platinum trim back in December 2011. I also got the 10 year extended warranty and it had first 5 years of maintenance included. As of May 2024 the car still looks great, runs amazing and should go for at least 100K more miles. I did get the Polestar turn about 2 years ago and have done regular maintenance. Over the first 10 years the car had a few standard issues along with a couple of sensors but nothing major. The extended plan covered everything and All I have had to do is the timing belt and water pump out of pocket. Great hard top convertible that is a keeper...
