This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.

They were very professional. They didn't overwhelm me with excessive emails and text like some other dealers do. They were great to deal with even though I didn't end up buying from them.

I will most likely never own anything but a Volvo. It offers quality and value, and most importantly, the customer service at the Princeton dealership is exceptional. They treat you like family.

I love my volvo. I have one that is fully loaded, and it is so luxe and fun to drive. The turbo makes it literally zoomier than my husband's mustang, but it can also go all day without any gas at all if I need to use it in pure mode.

When it was finally time to upgrade this year, I did it and have not regretted it. Great ride, all the safety features I wanted, excellent ride and handling , above EPA rated fuel economy, roomy seating. Plenty of room for my golf equipment.

Very comfortable and easy getting around town after trading my big xxx Mercedes. Display and interaction very easily followed. First Volvo was 1969 that lasted 20 years. Glad to be back in a Volvo.

I was going to update my Ford escape to Lexus. Salesman Derek Massio, was helping me get a good deal. He was answering my questions and I going few times for testing out and checking the car. They offered me to purchase extra warranty and protection, but it’s optional. Overall have a good experience with the dealer. Before I go there I have a text message and email. After narrowing our choice down to a Volvo (I was replacing an Audi - and I had 2 Volvos in the past), I reached out to a few dealers. I have owned my 2013 S60 T6 AWD for a little over 2 years now and it is an exceptional car. The looks, the power, the handling, all around a very solid and capable vehicle. I have taken it on several road trips and every mile is a joy to drive - I have not had any serious issues and have just done regular maintenance. Would highly recommend the 3.0 T6 AWD S60 if you can find one!

Can't say enough about Kyle and the overall experience at Smythe. We had just come off a horrific experience at another dealer (two bad experiences, actually). We were so turned off. But we found this beautiful Audi at Smythe and decided to give it another go. My wife stopped in and met Kyle. He was terrific from the start. All she did was want to see it before the two of us went back. There was no pressure, no "sales-pitch" or anything. Just a nice guy who listened to my wife and her auto buying needs. We went back that night, test drove the car, talked with Kyle (again, "talked", no pressure). He took the time to answer to every question we had and explained everything in detail. It was more of a conversation than a sales transaction. We explained what we were looking for, in terms of deal (money down, monthly payment, etc.). Kyle introduced us to Abood, helped us explain exactly what we were looking for and we were told "No problem. We hear you and will do our best. If it doesn't turn out to be the deal you are looking for, no worries, but we'll call you in the morning." Next day, my wife got the call and the deal we talked about the night before was they deal made happen. No sweat, no stress, no anxiety. We walked in later that afternoon. Car was prepped, big red bow on it, papers ready to sign, and my wife as out of there in under an hour. THANK YOU Kyle, Abood, William (our delivery specialist) and everyone at Smythe. Great commuter car. Adaptive cruise control is better than most. Good mpg. Very attractive. Agile and good is small spaces ( city driving ). Base sound system should have more power.

This is a beautiful car. Our car is the mid level. Not totally sure it is as luxurious as it's price point. Drives and feels very nice. Feels nimble and safe. Visibility all around is great. Safety features such as the pacing cruise control and lane management are excellent. The gage cluster is minimal with a lot of empty space where they should have put a real fuel gage, not the miniscule 4 dashes that go unlit as the fuel is used. The car has no written user manual. It relies on a very limited one on board which cannot be accessed when the car is moving. Hybrid system is not immediately understood how to make it perform well. Bu once you solve that puzzle it is really good. We found a complete 900 page one on line that goes into the detail we wanted. Also the on board one does not have an index so you get to hunt and guess to find what topic your question is under. This was a major frustration for us. The back seats are very firm, which was surprising at this price point. That is why I knocked the comfort level down. Front seats are wonderful. Lots of rear leg room though. There is a lot of room behind the second row seats when the 3rd row is down, and this suits our travel cargo needs very well. 360 camera is excellent. Fit and finish is superb. The turn signal stalk has too many functions such as head light control. A switch on the dash would be much better easily showing which mode the headlights are in. The various functions are not as intuitive to control or find. There is a learning curve, not a difficult curve, but just jumping into drive it might be the wrong approach. Perhaps it is standard Volvo like not standard BMW like as we were used to. Now that we know the car better we would buy it again.

I saw a car that I was interested in and called the dealership, Smythe Volvo in Summmit. I spoke to a salesmen, Jesus Garcia. I drove to the dealership to see and test drive the care. Jesus was very accommodating. His warm and kind nature made it easy and comfortable in deciding on the car. When we got back to the office I gave an offer and it was excepted. This vehicle is the ultimate combination of safety, luxury, style, and functionality. Every feature is clearly well thought out and engineered to be highly functional and comfortable with the only exception being the rear door locks. If you have a child who may have been blessed with an extra dash of spice, as my child once was, this feature could be a nightmare. On the rear doors there is a lock button feature which prohibits the rear doors from being opened from outside of the vehicle. Imagine going to the dentist with a defiant 5 year old who has figured out what that button does. That single odd feature aside, this car is a dream to drive. I traveled 7 hours through 4 states from the dealership to my home as this was the only dealership that has my dream car available and purchasing sight unseen was not appealing to me. Any long distance trip in the past has required stopping to stretch and walk to ease back pain every 90 to 120 minutes at the maximum and would still result in extreme back pain the next day. Not in this car. Seven hours. Two quick stops of five minutes or less to use restroom facilities and I was back on the road. I didn’t hurt. That was the best drive of my life. The seats are so perfectly ergonomically engineered that you are completely supported and comfortable. The dash features are equally impressive and the massive amount of technology at your fingertips is astonishingly user friendly. The car is also equipped with sun shades on both rear passenger windows as well as the rear view window. The rear view window is push button controlled from the driver console and the three screens used together provide an optimal shaded environment for tech use and children. The vehicle is perfect for my family of three as well as my commuter vehicle and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of the Volvo family. I’ll never own anything but in the future.

Went there to test drive a lovely 2018 Toyota Rav-4. Its clear this dealership has a high standard for its used cars. The salesman, Bob Cerza, was wonderful and the test drive was excellent. The initial salesman I was in contact with over email and phone when I placed my inquiry - Ryan Preesada - was also very professional. Honestly, were it not for extenuating circumstances I might have bought that car, but I had some external issues that prevented me from doing so. I just wanted to leave a review to ensure anyone that wants to buy here that, from my experience, this is a dealership with a high bar for customer service and quality of their cars. Will definitely be recommending them in the future

Volvo is the most reliable, safest car we have ever owned. Our experience with the dealership was great. Only thing we need to get used to is the power down at stop signs.

A great car. It checked most of the boxes that I had when looking for cars at the time. I ponied up for the Polestar software upgrade and wow did that make a difference. A few reviews had said that the car was underpowered. Not any more. There are some great details and some strange ones too, but overall it's one of my favorite vehicles. Like any car these days, there are a few niggling things that Vovo can't seem to fix. The hood doesn't seem to fit correctly no matter what Vovo did. It "bangs" when you lean against it (cleaning the windscreen, etc) and when the car is jolted (potholes, etc). No amount of work seems to properly address the issue. It's 2.5 years and I've been through a set (2) batteries (main and stop/start). It is now giving me the feeling that the main battery is failing again. The stop/start has not worked consistently since I got the car. Vovo tells me I don't drive it enough to keep the battery charged. Well, I do 5 to 6K a year and if that's not enough they should say so up front. Seems to me that there is something up (or down) with the charging system. Again, I'm impressed.
