We bought this car in 2019 after selling our Porsche 944. It is a wonderful car to drive and we've used it on all of our long trips where its just my wife and I driving (we have a 7 passenger car when we take the kids places). Upgrading from the Porsche it's nice to have automatic transmission and cruise control and the car is about as low. Understand that luggage space is limited with the top down so while you can take trips with 3 or 4 people, cargo space is limited if you want to be able to put the top down. Satellite radio is great however the tuner is older so you can't get newer stations like "Road Trip Radio" or anything in the 300's, but its still great not to have to look for a new radio station every 15-20 minutes when driving out in South Dakota or Wyoming and there are plenty of classic rock stations. I purchased a Volvo wind-screen that covers the rear seats and that cuts out the back flow considerably (on the tollway, my wife's long hair would be blowing almost straight forward with the top down over 50mph without the screen but with it, there is little back flow if any). Its a great little fun car and gets good mileage too. I replaced all tires with Pilot 4's. Cigarette lighter is flat facing up so you'll want to cover it because things can fall into it if you don't have a cover on it (been there done that) but makes a great place for a 2 USB plugin charger to keep your phones charged. Overall its a really nice car, and has required little service in the 3 years we purchased it except for oil changes (and replacing tires). We just turned 50k miles on it.

Purchased my 5th "gently used" white Volvo S60 AWD with beige interior today. Every 5 years, like clockwork. And yes, those specs are a firm requirement. I love the crew, from sales to service, with many of these folks like family since I've been working with them since I moved to the KC area 15 years ago.

Our experience was completely random. We were on our way to Florida from Nebraska. (We were taking a friends vehicle to Florida for her). Once in the car, we decided to listen to audio books on our trip. Try as we may, we were unsuccessful in pairing a phone and getting the book to play over the vehicle sound system. We stopped in the Volvo dealership in Overland Park to see if we could get some assistance. We went into the showroom and were greeted by a very nice representative. We told her that this would be the most unique request she would have all day. We told her our predicament and she said, “You’re in luck! I happen to be the tech support for this dealership! Let’s go out to your car and we’ll get you all ready to listen to your book.” We went out to the vehicle and with in a matter of minutes had all our questions answered, our audio book playing in the vehicle and thanked us for stopping by. Carmax has a wide variety of used cars to check out if you are not sure what you want. We found a 2018 Hyundai Sante Fe Sport with less than 8000 miles. Very nice vehicle that is roomy with lots of cool options. My sales agent was very nice, no pressure and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes to sign the paperwork. I would buy from Carmax again!

I walked in and was immediately greeted. The guy that helped me had very great customer service skills and was very friendly. I have a crystler 300 and the oil needed changed and transmission fluid checked. I was expecting to pay around $250-300 bucks but got a discounted price and only paid $165. I definitely will be going back when service to my vehicle is needed again

You don't take the car with you, the car brings you, you sit in the chair, not on it. First two gears are short, which confuse people behind you, expecting to be faster away at traffic lights. But from 3rd gear on it just goes. Its like sailing a ship, tiny bit waggly but smooooooth. I own a D5, it's my second home.

I had a great experience buying my Volvo XC40! Corie was super nice and generous, always checking in to see if I had any questions. She was quick to respond, which made everything so much easier. Never had any major problems with the car. Mostly software problems but they were quickly fixed with a restart/reset of the system. The ride is bery comfortable and on long drives a pleasure to sit it. The place this car has is huge and every passenger has largly enough space. The car is slightly underpowered for such a heavy tank (only 235PS) but is still enough to have a comfortable ride (low RPMs) on the highway. I average 37-33mpg which gives me about 700 miles of range and if you’re not in a hurry and drive about 50-60mph you can even go up to 900 miles on the highway (I drive the mild-hybrid). I feel also safe driving it, thanks to all the assistants it has and the safety-history.
