Waited a long time to go from a 2010 to a 2020 XC60. There is no comparison to the fit, comfort, and digital experience. The stereo is outstanding. Like night and day. And I really like the older XC60!

The service department is always excellent. Even though I did not purchase my new vehicle at this location in 2022 (not by choice, but because inventory of new vehicles of my preferred model was very scarce at the time) they still offer all the benefits of the warranty and extended service plans I signed up for during my purchase elsewhere - making for great Toyota brand loyalty. I work closer to this dealership than the one I purchased from, so it was a pleasant surprise to enjoy working with this dealership right from my first visit. I especially appreciate the shuttle service they offer to take me home and back when there is going to be a long service procedure. Also, I have a choice to schedule online or by phone, and I like having both options. Finally, the explanatory videos taken by the technicians when they have finished the job are great to have both at the time, and later at home when I want to review and fully understand what they said once more.

This is my third Volvo and my favorite model of the three. It is the perfect car for me. It is a very comfortable car to drive. I love the design of the car. It has a lot of storage in the back. It has an easy system to pop down the seats for bigger loads. My XC 60 is a super nice looking car on the exterior too. It is a great car for around town and has also been perfect for longer road trips.

This is my second Volvo. I first had a 2004 S60, which I traded in for this 2013 XC60. The SUV has a great ride and I love the ability to switch to a stick shift, which makes the car feel sporty. Overall, the car is trouble free. LIke me other Volvo, the transmission sometimes is hard to move. I actually had to replace the tranmission in the S60. This vehicle has traveled cross country, where it gets great gas mileage, with using regular gas, not high test. The city gas mileage, I live in Chicago, is not very good! The required maintenance from the Volvo dealer can be expensive, but repairs at the dealer I feel are overpriced! I got the extended warranty, which I feel was a waste of money. Overall, I really like the Volvo brand! They are fairly maintenance free and last a long time. My previous Volvo had about 110,000 miles and this one has about 63,000 miles.

Great awesome cars in every aspect, comfort, performance, handling, smoothness, features, reliability (not in some models though) and especially safety. You get the best bang for your buck in Volvos. Only thing I would say is to stay away from the XC90 T6 (petrol engines) from 2015 - 2016. (Not sure if 2017 has these problems, as I havnt experienced anything from the 2017 models) I sell many of these Volvos But the petrol XC90s T6 from 2015 - 2016 are very unreliable because of being the first year of these models when they first came out. Had many experiences with failing superchargers ($4k to fix ) evaporator failing ($5k to fix) and also these engines have a known fault that the pistons don’t inbed in properly in some of the engines and it burns massive amount of oil. (Did a test in a customers car, was burning about 2L of oil every 1000km) Also comes with a few hiccups here and there with coolant leaks, and oil leaks etc. I’ve never had a problem with the XC90 D5 (diesel engines) as they seems much better because they don’t have the engines failing or a supercharger in these models. This have the failing evaporator but this item was the least part failing out of everything I mentioned. I hope this information has helped out some people who are deciding to purchase a Volvo 😊

T6 106k miles, replaced Brake pads, spark plugs, and one to engine mount. Everything works! Amazing auto pilot up to 80mph lifetime avg 21.3 MPG mixed driving, regular gas! Quiet, blast T6, super comfortable seats, active safety! I cant think of anything better. Stay away from T5

Love our gently used 2015 Volvo XC60 T6 Turbo wagon. 130k miles on it and we have only had to replace the alternator and battery. Does not burn oil, does not leak oil. Has been a very reliable car. If you do the maintenance and change the oil every 5 thousand miles it will last a long time. Regular oil changes are very important as with any car. Most people don’t do this. The 6 cylinder is one the best engines they have made. Timing chain will last a long time as long as you put new clean oil in the engine every 5k miles. No transmission problems and no differential problems for us. No one likes to spend $2,000 for the 90k service but it’s a big one. Important preventative maintenance will take this car to 200,000 miles. Read the owners manual and follow the service schedule.

I loved my XC90 but traded it due to the cost of fuel. I drive 40 miles a day roundtrip to work. I would easily go through a tank of gas in four days. Best mileage I ever got was about 22 highway. The XC90 is a heavy SUV and shaped like a block. Not a lot of aerodynamics. As for comfort and luxury you can't go wrong the XC 90 is pure luxury and has great pickup and handling. Just be aware the mileage is not good.

My luck! I went to get motors to pick up a Volkswagen Tiguan, very clean. The car had a malfunction, but is was taken care of very quickly. I’m a mechanic, with a little patience and love everything worked out beautifully. They were even nice enough to deliver the vehicle to my residence. I bought this car used at a very good price. It is luxurious and I really prefer the height to the s60 I had before, living in the country with harsh winters. Very nice to drive even with a firmer feel. We also have an XC70 which is a great car for long-distance travel. So many features are standard and the upgraded sound system is wonderful.

I saw a car that I was interested in and called the dealership, Smythe Volvo in Summmit. I spoke to a salesmen, Jesus Garcia. I drove to the dealership to see and test drive the care. This vehicle is the ultimate combination of safety, luxury, style, and functionality. Every feature is clearly well thought out and engineered to be highly functional and comfortable with the only exception being the rear door locks. If you have a child who may have been blessed with an extra dash of spice, as my child once was, this feature could be a nightmare. On the rear doors there is a lock button feature which prohibits the rear doors from being opened from outside of the vehicle. Imagine going to the dentist with a defiant 5 year old who has figured out what that button does. That single odd feature aside, this car is a dream to drive. I traveled 7 hours through 4 states from the dealership to my home as this was the only dealership that has my dream car available and purchasing sight unseen was not appealing to me. Any long distance trip in the past has required stopping to stretch and walk to ease back pain every 90 to 120 minutes at the maximum and would still result in extreme back pain the next day. Not in this car. Seven hours. Two quick stops of five minutes or less to use restroom facilities and I was back on the road. I didn’t hurt. That was the best drive of my life. The seats are so perfectly ergonomically engineered that you are completely supported and comfortable. The dash features are equally impressive and the massive amount of technology at your fingertips is astonishingly user friendly. The car is also equipped with sun shades on both rear passenger windows as well as the rear view window. The rear view window is push button controlled from the driver console and the three screens used together provide an optimal shaded environment for tech use and children. The vehicle is perfect for my family of three as well as my commuter vehicle and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of the Volvo family. I’ll never own anything but in the future.

Went there to test drive a lovely 2018 Toyota Rav-4. Its clear this dealership has a high standard for its used cars. The salesman, Bob Cerza, was wonderful and the test drive was excellent. The initial salesman I was in contact with over email and phone when I placed my inquiry - Ryan Preesada - was also very professional. Honestly, were it not for extenuating circumstances I might have bought that car, but I had some external issues that prevented me from doing so. I just wanted to leave a review to ensure anyone that wants to buy here that, from my experience, this is a dealership with a high bar for customer service and quality of their cars. Will definitely be recommending them in the future

I purchased a low-mileage, late-model 911 from Vantage. The purchase process was painless. There was no pressure, unlike so many other dealerships. The car was in great shape—a prominent Porsche mechanic called it close to perfect.

I’ve owned my 2014 Volvo S60 T5 since late 2022 (roughly 2 years) and here’s my experience so far: Pros: -Superior safety; Volvo prides itself with fantastic safety ratings and constantly keeps the latest safety standards in mind when designing restraints and airbags. -Outstanding comfort; Hands down, most comfortable seats that I’ve sat in. Warmer weather oriented and has heated seats all around, heated windshield, and heated mirrors as standard. Suspension is butter smooth and interior is quiet with good tires. -Stylish Interior and Exterior; interior is luxurious and uses high quality materials. Entertainment features are tilted slightly towards driver and allow you to make decisions and hit buttons without having to look away from the road. Post-face lift model looks fantastic and eye catching and looks much better than the pre-face lift models in my opinion. The body panels feel sturdy and well built. -Performance and Fuel Economy; great performance and fuel economy for its class. I usually get around 17-19 city and 29-32 highway. It offers good economy for families and business workers that get to work via the highway. It can absolutely get up and move when you ask it to and can comfortably go 90-100+ with no issues. Cons: -Below average handling; the handling leaves a bit to be desired for the 2WD models. Definitely has quite a bit of understeer in the corners. It’s can also be a bit daunting to park due to its larger size. -Transmission bugs; the transmission is usually fairly smooth but tends to jolt when downshifting and when starting from a rest. From what I understand this is a common problem with Aisin transmissions of this era and can be fixed with a software update from Volvo. -Interior space; as with most sedans, the rear seats leave room to be desired. Most passengers will struggle with leg room. Trunk space is fine for airport trips, grocery runs, and light road tripping but is unsuitable for most moving and heavy lifting jobs. The Ugly: -Reliability; although this car has never broken down, left me stranded, or even had as much of a check engine light, the biggest killer is the oil consumption problem.This can cause a range of silent killers that usually don’t show up until they are catastrophic. The inline-5 engine in particular is greatly affected and is due to the lower oil control ring on the pistons to become clogged. This usually leads to the engine burning about a quart every 1K miles. This is not an easy fix and will require an engine rebuild. Volvo may offer an extended warranty for this problem but without a perfectly documented service record this service costs $5K. -Not DIY friendly (sometimes); for an at home mechanic, some tasks can be quite difficult to accomplish without special tools from Volvo. Standard issues like oil changes, brakes, and lights are easily accessible and straightforward to accomplish. More complicated issues such as suspension maintenance, coolant services, accessory belt maintenance, and problems related to the turbo can be difficult considering the complex nature of the car. Maintenance manuals are near impossible to find for free, however Volvo does offer a (pricey) subscription service to their in shop maintenance software. In summary, the 2014 Volvo S60 is a fantastic car for a competent car enthusiast who knows how to work on cars. Maintenance tends to be on the heavy side and weekly oil level checks are a MUST. This car is definitely not for anyone who doesn’t know much about cars or for someone who knows a trusty mechanic. It’s sporty, comfortable, reliable and safe if you know what you’re getting yourself into. Hope this helps!

Before buying used, have an independent mechanic check it over. I had a bad experience with the dealer with several expensive issues shortly after my purchase. Brakes, alignment/tires, shock and steering wheel electronics (voice command, radio). The steering wheel electronics problem is common.
