This is my first Volvo and although it took a while to get familiar with the controls, I love it! The side and rearview mirrors, warning sounds and lights have taken care of blind spots that are usual in a larger SUV, and have prevented accidents. The ride is still so smooth after 3 years, I can easily read a book on long trips. The front and rear seat adjustments allow everyone to be comfortable. We are glad for the bumper to bumper 5 year coverage we bought at purchase, and they immediately fixed any minor problems we've had over the last 3 years.

I had an old S70 that I brought to Nate for service a few times and he never tried to oversell me anything I didn't need. He offered a loaner if I needed it and was always straightforward about what needed fixing right now and what could wait. I used him for a few years until we moved out of the area to Harrisburg and had nothing but great service. Fast forward 4 years when it was time for my wife to get a new (used) car. Based on my experience with Volvos and with Nate we decided to check his stock, found a couple good candidates, and went to visit. We found a prime candidate in a 2012 XC90. It had higher mileage (nearly 90K) but with Nate's reputation for carrying solid used cars there was little hesitation in believing that this car would last us for many years to come. That and the fact that is was a one-owner vehicle with impeccable service records helped as well. Nate made the buying process very easy and delivered a first rate car that was in better shape than one with a fraction of the mileage on it. We have been very happy with this car and it has proved our belief that it's worth driving the extra distance to deal with someone you can trust.

Bought New, firsts 80,000 mile on the highway to NC, San Antonio, New Orleans, Memphis. Like being in my living room lazy boy. Sturdy ride. No major problems. Maintenance on schedule. On my second set of tires. Second set brakes. It's a highway vehicle for sure. Quick precise steering. It's a keeper so far. Two minor repairs. Brake pedal sensor. Can't remember the other thing.

While living in Reading I used this shop for all my repairs on my Volvo S70 and had nothing but great results. We moved to Harrisburg and when it came time for my wife to buy a new (used) car we found exactly what we were looking for at European Motors. We bought a 2012 XC90 and Nate made the buying experience extremely easy. The car had been performing great for the last couple months since we bought it so that when it came time to replace my aging S70 a couple months later we once again returned here to find yup, exactly the car we were looking for, a 2011 S60 T6 in perfect condition. Quickest car sale ever. I did find a couple issues once I got it home but a quick call to Nate and all was made right. I have no hesitation in recommending this shop for both quality used Volvo's and reliable service. It's worth the trip.

Love our gently used 2015 Volvo XC60 T6 Turbo wagon. 130k miles on it and we have only had to replace the alternator and battery. Does not burn oil, does not leak oil. Has been a very reliable car. If you do the maintenance and change the oil every 5 thousand miles it will last a long time. Regular oil changes are very important as with any car. Most people don’t do this. The 6 cylinder is one the best engines they have made. Timing chain will last a long time as long as you put new clean oil in the engine every 5k miles. No transmission problems and no differential problems for us. No one likes to spend $2,000 for the 90k service but it’s a big one. Important preventative maintenance will take this car to 200,000 miles. Read the owners manual and follow the service schedule.

This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.

S60 T6 R design with 3.0. First off, 205,000 miles on original engine and transmission. Do the basic maintenance and the car will reward you. Amazing acceleration and handling, in league with other sport coupes. Except, comfy seats and smooth on long drives and pretty quiet. This, for a fraction of an audi or bmw. Wish it had a manual. Wish Volvo would keep making a true sport coupe like this. If they still made these I would buy another. I love this car.

After exhausting research, I thought I would buy another car in Virginia. However, when I discovered European Motors, I never looked back. Great awesome cars in every aspect, comfort, performance, handling, smoothness, features, reliability (not in some models though) and especially safety. You get the best bang for your buck in Volvos. Only thing I would say is to stay away from the XC90 T6 (petrol engines) from 2015 - 2016. (Not sure if 2017 has these problems, as I havnt experienced anything from the 2017 models) I sell many of these Volvos But the petrol XC90s T6 from 2015 - 2016 are very unreliable because of being the first year of these models when they first came out. Had many experiences with failing superchargers ($4k to fix ) evaporator failing ($5k to fix) and also these engines have a known fault that the pistons don’t inbed in properly in some of the engines and it burns massive amount of oil. (Did a test in a customers car, was burning about 2L of oil every 1000km) Also comes with a few hiccups here and there with coolant leaks, and oil leaks etc. I’ve never had a problem with the XC90 D5 (diesel engines) as they seems much better because they don’t have the engines failing or a supercharger in these models. This have the failing evaporator but this item was the least part failing out of everything I mentioned. I hope this information has helped out some people who are deciding to purchase a Volvo 😊

I was looking for a chevy impala and I found one at Small Town Auto thru cars.com. It was in beautiful shape both inside and out. Even though it was a little older-2009 I decided to take it because of the low mileage-68,000. I am so satisfied. I wanted to wait a few months before writing this review to make sure I had no real problems with the car. There was a minor problem with the starter but the dealership took care of it and it was just over the 30-day warranty. It rides so smoothly and it has a lot of power as soon as you step on the gas the front end lifts up and boy it goes! I know it's a little older but I am so satisfied. I can tell this car will last. It's well worth the money and I only gave 750.00 down because that's all I had at the time. They work with you. So don't be afraid, if you need a car buy one from this dealership! I'm not sorry you won't be either!

I love the Volvo, its very spacious with the extra third row seating. It would be good for a family, or even travelers. I just figured out that the seats lie down which is pretty cool.

I got the 2012 s60 t5 used with 74000 miles on it. Had its for 2 years and I could never say enough good things about this car. By far the BEST car I've ever owned. As for its driving. OMG ! Everything about this vehicle is perfection the steering the handling gas mileage and after all this it saved my life in a horrific crash I love to have another one and won't be happy until I do. out of five stars it's easily 10

Great car. I compare it with a high-end Mercedes that I own, Volvo is generally better built, more comfortable especially on extra long trips, quieter on the road, and intuitive in most use cases. The Bowers and Wilkins sound system is definitely superior to anything I’ve heard in high-end vehicles. The interior design is minimalistic, and the car lacks the prestige that comes with the price. From a reliability stand point, it has never put us down, and has almost completely overcome the early Goole system glitches.

I recently purchased a used auto from 443 Auto Sales in Lehighton, PA. The sales rep. was Truck. Truck is a very personable guy. I told him which car I was interested in and he was ready to to tell me what he knew about it and answered my questions. There was no hard sell. He was wearing a USMC ball cap and I asked him if he was a vet. He said yes and told me that he served in Panama. I told him that I was in the Army and did a tour in Vietnam . We bonded instantly. After we did the road test, we opened the hood. Truck immediately noticed a liquid substance near the manifold and looked around for any leaks. He couldn't find one, but he was still concerned. He talked to the owner about it and the owner said they would find the leak and fix it. Truck showed a great deal of interest in satisfying my needs and wasn't trying to push the sale or get me interested in another auto. I am 70 years old and he made me feel very comfortable with the sale. I purchased my 2009 Volvo XC90 last year to serve the purpose of a comfortable commuter car, and considering I payed next to nothing for the vehicle itself, my expectations weren't too high. However, after only owning the vehicle for a very short time, I found myself thoroughly impressed with the car. It became apparent to me that Volvo built their cars with a different mindset then their german rivals, as none of the features that my Volvo was equipped with were revolutionary for the time: heated seats, automatic climate, rear seat entertainment, etc. All very nice options to have, but they could be just as easily had on an X5. However, getting behind the driver's seat of the Volvo is completely different from a BMW or Audi, as the car feels just as heavy as it is. Rather than trying to mask the weight of the car, Volvo chose the path of embracing it - and it worked. Driving the XC90 is like driving a comfortable, leather-lined tank: it's confidence inspiring not in terms of speed, but road presence. To sum it up, I would absolutely recommend the XC90 to anyone in the market for a quality used SUV, as Swedish engineering proved itself to be a pleasant surprise to a German-biased individual such as myself.
