Amazing experience. I'd recommend anyone looking for a car to try CarMax first... There's zero pressure, tons of beautiful vehicles, and just an all around great place. Will definitely be buying from here in the future. They're willing to work with you if you don't have the best credit, and most importantly, they're just honest and transparent. Two very important things when spending tens of thousands of dollars. Put it this way, it was great enough experience for me to come online and leave reviews all over!

I truly can not say enough good things about my new 2022 Volvo XC90 T6. I have admired the Volvo SUVs from afar as a minivan mom for 15 years and this was my year to make the move. No turning back; it is sporty, classy, comfortable, safe, I could go on forever. Classic black and dark brown interior. The info center takes a bit to get used to and it seems like there are features everywhere so definitely just hop on you tube to figure them all out at your own pace because the sales person will tell you, but no way you can get them all down. One of my ultimate favorites are the rotating fog lights. As you turn the lights turn with your vehicle. Lane assist is not for me; I've been driving too long to have it as it seems overbearing. 360 camera and all of the warnings are great though because you never know who is barreling down through the parking lot. Narrowed it to the 2023 Honda Pilot and 2022 MDX Technology; got tired of waiting on the Pilot and frankly it was a bit too big and the MDX just didn't have the sporty look I wanted. I feel like with the Volvo I got it all!

The Sales Manager, Rich, was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Their whole approach was positive, and made for a good buying experience. I would recommend trying Danvers Volvo, if you are in the market for a Volvo.

We recently made an unplanned purchase of new 2020 XC90 at Danvers Volvo and the team there is a pleasure to work with. We have bought/leased 6 previous Volvo's and this experience at Danvers is by far the best we have ever had. The sales team was patient with us as we reviewed options, costs, etc... and then expedited the paperwork for financing and registration so we could head quickly home to NY. I highly recommend this team if you're looking for a Volvo.

Never had any major problems with the car. Mostly software problems but they were quickly fixed with a restart/reset of the system. The ride is bery comfortable and on long drives a pleasure to sit it. The place this car has is huge and every passenger has largly enough space. The car is slightly underpowered for such a heavy tank (only 235PS) but is still enough to have a comfortable ride (low RPMs) on the highway. I average 37-33mpg which gives me about 700 miles of range and if you’re not in a hurry and drive about 50-60mph you can even go up to 900 miles on the highway (I drive the mild-hybrid). I feel also safe driving it, thanks to all the assistants it has and the safety-history.

Overall loved this car- owned a 2016 from fall 2018 until winter 2023. Handled great in all weather (including upstate NY winters with lake effect snow), had decent cargo space, towed my tiny camper (1100lb loaded) with no issues. Wish it had the higher (3500lb) tow capacity that the older wagons had- I ended up trading it in for a midsize truck because I'm getting a larger camper. My one MAJOR issue with the vehicle was that there was a design flaw in the piston rings that caused excessive oil consumption. Not all engines with the rings have issues, and Volvo found and corrected the issue in mid 2016 in the factory, but mine was from before then and at it's worst in fall '22 (@~83K miles) I was going through a quart of oil in 500 miles. Thankfully, Volvo covered the repair (I squeaked it in at the last minute of my CPO warranty, but Volvo customer service said that they typically cover it even without warranty), but if they hadn't it I would have ended up looking for a truck several months earlier because the repair would have been several thousand dollars... Overall, as much as I like my new truck, I miss this car.

This is 100% one of the best cars I’ve owned. Comparing it to my previously owned Acuras, Audis, BMWs, Buicks, Cadillacs, GMCs, Land Rover Range Rovers, Mercedes-Benzs, Porsches, Volkswagens, this is one of my top favorite vehicles for comfort, performance, technology, driving, etcetera. I 10/10 recommend.

So far so good. Plenty of power and comfort. I am enjoying the electric/hybrid part far more than I anticipated. It may not corner like my S90 did but it’s not too far behind!

This is my 3 Volvo. After leaving to buy another make of a car was an experience in itself. Working with Ronnie and Gavin from beginning to the end....in the dealership or over the phone was a pleasure. From the minute you walk in and until you leave you are taken care of. Glad to be back fantastic staff.

This is a beautiful car. Our car is the mid level. Not totally sure it is as luxurious as it's price point. Drives and feels very nice. Feels nimble and safe. Visibility all around is great. Safety features such as the pacing cruise control and lane management are excellent. The gage cluster is minimal with a lot of empty space where they should have put a real fuel gage, not the miniscule 4 dashes that go unlit as the fuel is used. The car has no written user manual. It relies on a very limited one on board which cannot be accessed when the car is moving. Hybrid system is not immediately understood how to make it perform well. Bu once you solve that puzzle it is really good. We found a complete 900 page one on line that goes into the detail we wanted. Also the on board one does not have an index so you get to hunt and guess to find what topic your question is under. This was a major frustration for us. The back seats are very firm, which was surprising at this price point. That is why I knocked the comfort level down. Front seats are wonderful. Lots of rear leg room though. There is a lot of room behind the second row seats when the 3rd row is down, and this suits our travel cargo needs very well. 360 camera is excellent. Fit and finish is superb. The turn signal stalk has too many functions such as head light control. A switch on the dash would be much better easily showing which mode the headlights are in. The various functions are not as intuitive to control or find. There is a learning curve, not a difficult curve, but just jumping into drive it might be the wrong approach. Perhaps it is standard Volvo like not standard BMW like as we were used to. Now that we know the car better we would buy it again.

I had a good experience. Traded in my old car and bought a used Honda. Been driving it for around two years no problem. Big fan of CarMax.

I bought this car in 2013 with less than 10K miles on it (certified pre-owned at the now closed Volvo dealer in Thousand Oaks, CA). I love this car, but I'm so glad I bought the maintenance contract along with the extended warranty. It has never let me down or had to be towed but it has had more than its fair share of warranty repairs. The suspension had some major issues but that may have been due to the poor quality roads and streets in Los Angeles. I will most likely be driving my C70 Volvo for many more years as I have no intention of ever selling it.

This is my first Volvo and although it took a while to get familiar with the controls, I love it! The side and rearview mirrors, warning sounds and lights have taken care of blind spots that are usual in a larger SUV, and have prevented accidents. The ride is still so smooth after 3 years, I can easily read a book on long trips. The front and rear seat adjustments allow everyone to be comfortable. We are glad for the bumper to bumper 5 year coverage we bought at purchase, and they immediately fixed any minor problems we've had over the last 3 years.

Buying a car from Mo was great. I do not like buying cars. I do not like the standard buying script. Thankfully, Mo talked me through the process. Showed me a coupe of vehicles and never pressured me to buy. With his assistance, I was able to make the buying decision that was best for me. In my experience, the prices were more than fair. This is my tenth Volvo I love a wagon and volvo makes the best just wish I could still get a manual. That being said Volvo seating is the epitome of comfort. Around 300+ horsepower with a polestar update makes it plenty fun

Larry Marcus was our sales consultant and Kendra Milan was our Finance Manager on our visit . From the time my wife and I walked in Larry us made feel at ease. Working thru the sales process with Larry was very smooth. We never felt any pressure during the time we were with him. He was very knowledgeable about the Acadia we were looking to purchase. When we were first looking at the vehicle he answered all of our questions. When it was time to leave with our new Acadia he took time to review the features of the vehicle before we left. He helped us set up some of the technology features during that time. Kendra Milan made the financing part of the purchase very easy. She was was very helpful and knowledgable going over all the paperwork necessary to purchase a new vehicle. Like Larry there was no pressure at all while working with Kendra. When people think about buying their dream car, it’s normal to immediately think about Lamborghini or Ferrari. For me, I wanted my dream “real world” car. I’ve always loved the way stationwagons look and the Volvo V90 just caught my eye. To me the Mercedes just looks weird and the BMW, boring. The Volvo in my honest opinion, just looks stunning. I’ve always admired the Volvo station wagon look but never liked the interiors at all, until now. Understated elegant luxury. Not blingy or OTT just gorgeous.. So here we have my 2018 V90 CC with every option. I think it’s amazing. I bought it used with 34,500 miles and it still looks brand new. The interior smells of that Napa leather as soon as you enter. It’s a fantastic place to sit. On a long Freeway stint the seat massagers are almost too decadent and the Bowers & Wilkins sound system is stunning. General driving of this machine also does not disappoint. It just feels solid, safe and powerful. Mine is the T6 engine which is both supercharged and turbocharged. It gives 316 horsepower, tons of torque and with AWD, pulls and handles beautifully. I’m sure other cars can go faster around a twisty racetrack but this Volvo will seem amazing to anyone who drives in real world conditions, like 99.9% of us. It’s utterly comfortable, one of the safest cars on the road and is fast, yet drives better than you expected it to. The driver assistance tech is also amazing. I just did 300 miles on the freeway and felt as good at the end as when I got in. Pilot Assist really takes the strain away. Safer knowing this car is literally looking out for you. I could go on and on but this is literally one of the best cars on the road. Looks gorgeous too... If you too like a wagon, are bored of huge SUV’s and want something fun to drive, then do go and have a look at the V90 CC. I highly recommend these cars....

I live in the mountains above LA, a stone’s throw off the famed Angeles Crest Highway. One thing that’s hard to get out of a car is the ability to make the most of the curvy mountains highway AND handle snow and dirt roads to access campgrounds and ski resorts after big powder dumps. This car does both exceptionally well. Sure you could have a Subaru for the snow and dirt, but they’re boats about to capsize on the highway. Then take a stiffer BMW suv and rip up the highway but cringe once it leaves the pavement. I bought this car used for a killer deal and it shows its character everyday.

It is a magnificent family car and very stable, I certify it, very luxurious and very beautiful inside comfortable in every way, performs at its best on the road
