I saw this 2014 E550 online. I was in San Diego but the car was $2300 under Blue Book with only 56,000 miles on it. I sent an email and received a reply before the dealership even open from their Internet Sales Manager, Bao. He sent me photos and a FaceTime tour of the vehicle. He provided every detail and was honest about everything about this car. I scheduled a pickup appointment and bought a ticket to Oakland. Bao greeted me and showed me the car. It was exactly as described. We chatted together while awaiting the sales manager to complete the paperwork. He programmed my phone into the navigation system and I began the long drive to San Diego. He even called several hours later to ask how my travels were proceeding and again the next day to ensure I had arrived safely. I cannot recommend Bao more highly to potential buyers. He is worth the trip if you do not live in the area!

Had to leave the car a good part of the day, as they replaced the radiator on my 99 Civic and we had to wait for a part. They had me up and running very quickly, all things considered. This car's reaching it's tenth birthday in the coming year, and has definitely earned itself a good reputation in reliability, to a point. Had to have the engine rebuilt at around 100k due to a recognized flaw where the seals around the pistons (one, in my case) would shave off the side of the inner piston chamber wall. Volvo was good about it, and rebuilt it for free, but I have heard about this being an issue with a percentage (although a small percentage) of 2015 S60's. If you own a 2015.5 S60, you should be okay (released at the half-year, they changed something in their engine design so this no longer happens). The 2015 model I own is a T-5 Drive-E, but even then the engines feel strong, and the acceleration is amazing given the engine downgrade for better mileage. Pros - Smooth, quiet, fast ride - Platinum package still makes this car shine given how far infotainment systems have come in 9 years - Takes 87 gas - Cold-oriented heating options. I lived in New Hampshire most of my life, and this thing took snow and ice like a champ. Good to know Volvo durability hasn't disappeared. Never failed to start, and the electric defrost option was a Godsend. - iPod/iPhone USB slot. Honestly wish this was in modern cars. You can play music from your iPhone (or iPod if you're a person of culture) as soon as you can hook it up to the charging port. Also charges your phone. Neutrals - Nav system. Pretty basic, but once you get good with the voice commands, is amazing. Other than that you have to put in addresses with one of the DIALS on the dashboard, which is lower than T9 typing. - Auto Climate setting. This is just more goofy than anything. You'll press it thinking it will slowly acclimate based on outside temps and engine warm-up and all sorts of things. No, it hilariously just turns your AC on max. Not even mad, its just super funny to think about. Cons - Start/Stop button. I don't care how much gas I "save", when you turn an engine off and on in any instance, you're wearing down parts faster. - No oil dipstick. Have to rely on electronically checking it, which has shown me close to max for the last few months, which I doubt. - Backseat legroom. It's not horrible if you're used to small sedans, and especially if you're used to super compact cars. - Turn radius. Holy crap do not invest in this car if you like parking somewhere (well) in a single turn. This thing parks like a grizzly bear with a saddle on it---mostly forwards and backs. Maybe I just prioritize good parking too much, but I don't like looking like that one guy in the Walmart parking lot who's content with 45 degree angles. The backup cam makes this not as much of an issue. All in all, a promising Volvo. Lacks the issues of the newer models, while looking pretty modern. If possible, I'd suggest trying to find a trim level higher than the default, but any trim level will be reliable. My biggest takeaway and suggestion for this would be to regularly maintain it. Get your oil changed regularly, keep your engine bay clean, invest in high-quality tires, and don't put 93 ethanol gas in for fun. It should last you as long as it did me.

Volvo is the most reliable, safest car we have ever owned. Our experience with the dealership was great. Only thing we need to get used to is the power down at stop signs.

The main problem with my 2911 s60 Volvo is: not very good on mpg; also, my 2001 Toyota Echo was a fantastic car but winter rusted out the car by 2023, I like my Volvo; it just so complicated so I only use one radio station and try to forget all the fancy gadgets since I'm older and I need to concentrated on driving safely. My Toyota Echo got 52 1/2 mpg. I think my Volvo gets just 12-14 mpg.

Tony and Sheldon were very easy to deal with...they are very straight forward and made the process comfortable. We lucked out and got a low mileage honda accord for a great price. I definitely will go to them again in the future.

Great wagon with plenty of cargo room. AWD system is excellent. These cars run forever with proper upkeep - I am past 230k miles and still pulling strong.

Head Light control can not be seen on the column at night. Stock tires were horrible. I switched to yokohama's. The rims design in terrible. There is a space behind the spokes which allows for dirt and brake dust to build up. Difficult to give a finished look when detailing. Plus I can't use the GPS. NOT convenient to communicate with. Engine noise is disturbing. Biggest thing is the TPM. Would prefer it to actually read the psi of each tire. Raises your anxiety not knowing the true pressure.

This is my second Volvo C70, the last one I bought is the T5 Polestar Engineered with only 35.000 miles on the counter. The first C70 I swapped with my Mustang convertible. This is the best car I have ever driven! Every time we go to France the holiday starts with the beginning of the journey! It drives smooth, not the fastest car but just enough and it cruises likes it's made for it!

car looks and drives like an expensive road car. The hardtop makes it a coupe in the winter or on colder and rainy days . The Hardtop folds into the roof in seconds and drives like a dream. Smooth from start to stop. I wish the drivers seat would go back another few inches as I'm 6'3" and just make it . Dash , leather seats , sound system and ease with controls are all first class. Not a rocket off the line but it has the push you back in the seat power. Best highway cruiser i've ever driven

The XC70 is an great all-around wagon. More versatile than a crossover with much better styling. I have the T6 turbo six-cylinder which is smooth and very torquey, though fuel economy is mediocre. All wheel drive works well and inspires confidence in foul weather. The ride is cushy and soft but handling can feel a bit floaty. Handsome and roomy interior that easily fits two car seats and.a booster, something that many crossovers can’t do. The front seats are the most comfortable I’ve ever sat in. Tech is pretty good— no Apple CarPlay but it’ll do everything else you need it to. Awesome car, I wish Volvo still made them.

This is my second Volvo. I first had a 2004 S60, which I traded in for this 2013 XC60. The SUV has a great ride and I love the ability to switch to a stick shift, which makes the car feel sporty. Overall, the car is trouble free. LIke me other Volvo, the transmission sometimes is hard to move. I actually had to replace the tranmission in the S60. This vehicle has traveled cross country, where it gets great gas mileage, with using regular gas, not high test. The city gas mileage, I live in Chicago, is not very good! The required maintenance from the Volvo dealer can be expensive, but repairs at the dealer I feel are overpriced! I got the extended warranty, which I feel was a waste of money. Overall, I really like the Volvo brand! They are fairly maintenance free and last a long time. My previous Volvo had about 110,000 miles and this one has about 63,000 miles.

I am very proud and pleased to give Alex (Mr. Diamond in the rough) praise for doing what should be done at every used car dealership. Yes, he has the mindset that you are his ONLY customer, and he will "make it right". He is respectful, honest and trustworthy. It's hard to trust the stereotypical "used car salesman"...I don't even need to explain, right? Please toss that connotation out when you shop with Alex and be refreshingly and happily amazed at how he makes it all happen in a non-stressful and productive way. I won't torture you with a long review, but I want to because EVERYTHING was handled so efficiently. I should include that I have been a Sales Manager for IBM and Henry Schein Dental...these multibillion $ co.'s are built on high end sales/service reputations. Point is this: I know greatness when I see it. One or two examples: Spoke to Alex about the Mercedes he had dropped in price to sell (great Carfax info btw...gives "fair price" accurately). Perfectly priced, so no need to dicker. I tell him I will need to get a friend to drive me there in case I buy the car...an uber driver was at my door in less than 15 minutes on Alex's dime. Bought the car and ALL paperwork was done, so I got my plates, stickers, registration in the mail shortly thereafter. Went back to get the smog done and pointed out the air conditioning/heat blower wasn't operating very well; don't forget, this is AFTER the sale. Alex could have charged me for parts and labor, but instead had Eugene (excellent mechanic btw) and Dmitry install the new blower for FREE...ask yourself when that kind of giving attitude and service happened at a used car dealer? Also put on 2 new front tires for “wholesale cost” and no labor charge. Please, you owe it to yourself to be dealt with in a professional and experienced service oriented manner...I am completely sold on Alex. P.S. In the short time I've gotten to know him, Alex has impressed me also with his love of his family. I value this also. Hope you go meet Alex...he will without a doubt, validate this review.

This is my third Volvo and my favorite model of the three. It is the perfect car for me. It is a very comfortable car to drive. I love the design of the car. It has a lot of storage in the back. It has an easy system to pop down the seats for bigger loads. My XC 60 is a super nice looking car on the exterior too. It is a great car for around town and has also been perfect for longer road trips.

I have owned this car for a week, everyday I find some new feature that just makes me feel like I got a fantastic value for my money! I love that moon roof! It’s huge!

Waited a long time to go from a 2010 to a 2020 XC60. There is no comparison to the fit, comfort, and digital experience. The stereo is outstanding. Like night and day. And I really like the older XC60!

This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.

I had no choice, my car of 20 years, which I bought brand new in 1999 was done. With so many websites ( I looked at several), I was not sure where to go. Then someone mentioned Car Max to me. I looked on line and saw a few cars I was interested in. The next weekend I drove to Colma to checked out and test drive a couple of cars. I decided to ask about Hybrids...you had 2. I test drove one of them and could not resist. I bought it. I was very impressed with the buying process. It was quick, easy and believe it or not relaxing since the sales person completed the paper work for me. Yes, I had to sign several sheets but that was a given. Something I was dreading for the past two years, was so surprisingly easy I couldn't believe it!!!

This car exceeds what’s most important to our family. Driver’s main cabinets and dashboard are easily available. Car identifies and responses to outside objects quickly. Such a smooth and quite ride. As noted in some reviews. The touch screen is a bit delay in response. Otherwise. It’s a great ride.

After only a month, I am truly "in love" with my XC-40. I wanted to get one a few years ago. However, Covid-19 got in the way. When it was finally time to upgrade this year, I did it and have not regretted it. Great ride, all the safety features I wanted, excellent ride and handling , above EPA rated fuel economy, roomy seating. Plenty of room for my golf equipment.
