Its been more reliable than anything I’ve owned so far . Not very comfortable at times ! the steering wheels a little cold in the winter but its not the luxury model . The manual transmisions smooth shifting is perfect 5 speed to get you down the road!

Our 2015 2.4L Soul has been great. My wife works a split shift, so she commutes to and from work Twice a day. So it gets a lot of highway miles. We also have gone cross country a few times. Always serviced at the dealer (which is more expensive), But it kept the warranty alive. Engine needed replaced at 95K due to oil consumption, but warranty covered it. Now at 220K AC compressor died. But that is the 1st repair we have had to do. Everything else is holding up fine.

The XC70 is an great all-around wagon. More versatile than a crossover with much better styling. I have the T6 turbo six-cylinder which is smooth and very torquey, though fuel economy is mediocre. All wheel drive works well and inspires confidence in foul weather. The ride is cushy and soft but handling can feel a bit floaty. Handsome and roomy interior that easily fits two car seats and.a booster, something that many crossovers can’t do. The front seats are the most comfortable I’ve ever sat in. Tech is pretty good— no Apple CarPlay but it’ll do everything else you need it to. Awesome car, I wish Volvo still made them.

I brought my 2002 v70 T5 back in 2012 for only 2k with 120,000 in the clock. I still have the now with 240,000 on the clock. The only thing I have had to fork out in is the new pencil coil packs, other than that all I do is give it a service once a year. It has been a good trusty car. Plus the power is great!

The dealership provided excellent service, helping out with insurance,plates for out of state sales, and high quality vehicles.

I see another reviewer here bought their xB in 2006 as well. This has been a very reliable car for me. I want get all the maintenance issues out of the way first. I have had to replace the camshaft gears, the blower motor fan for the A/C 6 times, the catalytic converter twice, ingnition coils, front windshield 3 times (one time reimbursed through Scion owner settlement), water pump, starter, and cold air intake system. Those were the most significant, and expected after 19 years of ownership. I have seen on other sights that the car burns oil, and as my car got older, it does. I have to replace oil usually twice in between oil changes. The only 2 issues I have not addressed is the front end suspension and the audio system. It was never the smoothest riding vehicle from the beginning, but now the MacPherson struts are shot making for a rough ride over the smallest bumps in the road. If anyone has ever ridden surface streets in and around downtown Atlanta, they can attest to the rough streets and the wear and tear down to your vehicle. The factory radio speakers are blown. They didn't do well at high volumes. I still can listen to music with little bass at moderate volumes--works for me. However, after all that, the maintenance for my Scion has been spaced out and reasonably priced. From the first oil change, I decided to take this vehicle to the dealership for repairs, however I highly recommend relying upon your own maintenance preferences. With some costly repairs, I reached out to other mechanics. Back to the Scion...other than the usual oil change, wiper blade changes, filter changes, brake repair, and tire replacements, the overall maintenance cost in a yearly basis is low. I enjoy the gas mileage, the interior room (although I would like more driver legroom), the lasting CD player, the lasting hydraulics for the rear door (showing my age), maneuverability, engine power at lower speeds, and slow depreciation over the years. This car has been the longest lasting car I've ever had and has outlasted cars of friends, coworkers, and family.

I have a 2008 and my hood hinge never worked well hood fly up I had to replace the entire hood. Now engine fails. Oil leaking terribly

The compact SUV / Wagon is fun to drive and is quiet, I shouldn’t have bought it because it’s a 5 passenger and I need more seating because we have a big family. But everyone loves it!

My car was giving warning messages so I called the Cadillac dealership to make an appointment. I caught on that it was the wrong dealership because of the HORRENDOUS, DISCOURTEOUS customer service I received! The woman that answered the phone had no empathy for my situation. I informed her that I was getting “steering assist reduced” messages, my thermostat was not working and my AC was not working - unfortunate for me because we were in the middle of a heatwave!! She told me there were no appointments for two to three weeks and even if I brought the car in then - there was no guarantee as to when it would be attended to. Also, no rentals for another month! She then put me on hold. I was on hold for so long that my call started bouncing all around throughout the dealership. I grew impatient and frustrated, so I hung up and called back. She answered and literally told me she forgot about me! The whole time I was holding I thought she was trying to get me in sooner!! SMH That’s when I realized that something was wrong because I have NEVER EVER encountered such rudeness and disregard at the Freeport location. I asked if it was the Freeport dealership and she said “no - this is the FARMINGDALE location”. I replied “that explains it” and I hung up! When I called my correct dealership - Paul Conte Freeport - the greeting alone by Christine gave me warmth. Initially, I just asked if there were any available appointments that day. Christine informed me that they were swamped. When I told her what was happening with the car, she POLITELY asked me to hold and when she returned shortly after, she told me to bring the car in right away!! At the dealership I spoke with RYAN. He is AMAZING - he is so professional and has such a pleasant personality (like all the others in that office). After checking the car he informed me that I would have to leave it for at least two days because they were so busy. With concern, he asked me if that would be too much of an inconvenience - I replied that it would not be. He explained everything to me thoroughly and arranged for an Uber to pick me up. I felt well taken care of - two days sounded way better than three weeks at Sarant Cadillac. Much to my surprise - after being home for a couple of hours - Ryan called me and told me THE CAR WAS READY!!!! I was shocked and soo thankful. It really made me feel like a valued customer!! I’m not writing this survey because I was taken care of in such a short time frame - I’m writing it because of the OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE, PROFESSIONALISM, TRUE SINCERE CONCERN FOR MY WELL BEING IN MY VEHICLE, THOROUGHNESS, COURTEOUSNESS, THOUGHTFULNESS, (I really could go on and on LOL) that I received. Now that I’ve experienced elsewhere, I know without a doubt that PAUL CONTE FREEPORT/SERVICE DEPARTMENT is truly OUTSTANDING - NO WHERE ELSE CAN COMPARE!!! I have own this V70 2,5 t Classic Geartronic for 3 Years now. It is my 13’th Volvo sinne 1986 and the best one. Nice styling, one of the best seats on the planet, powerful and reliable engine and the body withour rust. No matter, how much gears you have with you. And great enjoyable easygoing quiet ride. Perfect Swedish engineering. And A lot of car for 6000€. I have now over 300 000 km on the clock. The only negative thing was This German made leaking Zf- power steering rod. By the way, it is possible to get renewed one from Lenkungspezialist from Germany only 270€! Better than replacement part, which cost ovet 600€.

This car is amazing. I bought it at the end of Feb 2021 for $11,000. That was about 4-6 weeks before the price of used cars skyrocketed. The first time i took it to a mechanic for some scheduled maintenance i found out that i have a “Unicorn.” It is quick and handles like a dream. I love that i don’t have to fuel it up as much as the gasoline version. The six speed manual transmission is amazing. A fun fact about this car is that it isn’t actually a Jetta. It’s a Golf. My manual 6 speeed TDI sportwagen is the most fun car i have ever owned.

I inherited this Volvo from my mother, the proverbial little old lady who only drove it around town. At 23 years old, it has 103,000 miles. Super reliable and solidly built. Unfortunately, it recently developed a glitch in the driver's door handle which prevents the interior light from turning off when the door is closed, so it ends up draining the battery. Electrical issues are expensive to repair, but in my opinion, this car is well worth the investment. I wouldn't get rid of it for anything!
