I thought I would never own a car again, but they were able to make it a reality. I was nervous because of past experiences but they were patient. The car is in beautiful condition, has the proper tires, a spare tire, all of which I did not receive from a dealer years ago. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable vehicle with a reputable dealer.

I have a 2008 and my hood hinge never worked well hood fly up I had to replace the entire hood. Now engine fails. Oil leaking terribly

It’s a good car. Just the dealership did me dirty by not replacing a bad tire that they promised in writing that they would. Now I have to pay for one. The front underneath must be extremely low because it drags when I pull in or out of a driveway curb.

Phat and Emily run a family-style auto auto lot. There are the Big Dealerships selling used cars with their tall glass fronts and zippy employees in matching shirts. There are classic and dreaded Used Car Lots with flashy Used Cars salesman who operate out of mobile office trailers so they can fee in the middle of the night. Then there is Phat's Auto Group. Phat was a Master Tech. for a local Toyota dealership who now finds good cars, buys them, and turns them up into better , even more reliable cars. An automotive makeover master! A rescue shelter for cars run by the big hearted Phat and his wife, if you will. Easy to talk to and laid back, I recommend Phat's Auto Group if you are looking for a good deal for a used car that has been carefully examined and worked on for maximum value for price. I see another reviewer here bought their xB in 2006 as well. This has been a very reliable car for me. I want get all the maintenance issues out of the way first. I have had to replace the camshaft gears, the blower motor fan for the A/C 6 times, the catalytic converter twice, ingnition coils, front windshield 3 times (one time reimbursed through Scion owner settlement), water pump, starter, and cold air intake system. Those were the most significant, and expected after 19 years of ownership. I have seen on other sights that the car burns oil, and as my car got older, it does. I have to replace oil usually twice in between oil changes. The only 2 issues I have not addressed is the front end suspension and the audio system. It was never the smoothest riding vehicle from the beginning, but now the MacPherson struts are shot making for a rough ride over the smallest bumps in the road. If anyone has ever ridden surface streets in and around downtown Atlanta, they can attest to the rough streets and the wear and tear down to your vehicle. The factory radio speakers are blown. They didn't do well at high volumes. I still can listen to music with little bass at moderate volumes--works for me. However, after all that, the maintenance for my Scion has been spaced out and reasonably priced. From the first oil change, I decided to take this vehicle to the dealership for repairs, however I highly recommend relying upon your own maintenance preferences. With some costly repairs, I reached out to other mechanics. Back to the Scion...other than the usual oil change, wiper blade changes, filter changes, brake repair, and tire replacements, the overall maintenance cost in a yearly basis is low. I enjoy the gas mileage, the interior room (although I would like more driver legroom), the lasting CD player, the lasting hydraulics for the rear door (showing my age), maneuverability, engine power at lower speeds, and slow depreciation over the years. This car has been the longest lasting car I've ever had and has outlasted cars of friends, coworkers, and family.

My car is now sixteen years old and I love to put the convertible top down in the summer. I get lots of compliments on the Caribbean blue color.

This vehicle is comfortable and a smooth drive. Size is good for extra passengers and/or hauling equipment. I am looking forward to talking a road trip.

I bought my 2006 Scion XB in 2006. My car was the best car I have ever owned. You sit up off the floor, not like most compact cars where you practically lay on the floor. In addition, the head room and backseat leg room is fantastic! We changed the oil every 3,000 miles. It did not burn oil or drip oil. It never required any repairs except oil changes, brakes and tires. The only repair other than maintenance that had to be done was in 2023 we needed to replace the radiator. I would still have this car but a buck literally ran into my car totalling it. I was sick! I have tried to get another one but can't seem to find one that had been taken care of like mine. If you find one of these models...buy it. It is a Gem.

We bought a car here today. Jafar the manager was great. He did not pressure us into anything. He let us take our time to decide which car was best for us. No haggling just like the ad says. No hidden fees is a plus in my books. All in All a good buying experience.

Our 2015 2.4L Soul has been great. My wife works a split shift, so she commutes to and from work Twice a day. So it gets a lot of highway miles. We also have gone cross country a few times. Always serviced at the dealer (which is more expensive), But it kept the warranty alive. Engine needed replaced at 95K due to oil consumption, but warranty covered it. Now at 220K AC compressor died. But that is the 1st repair we have had to do. Everything else is holding up fine.

This dealership is wonderful, mostly became of my experience with Jacob!!! He is very welcoming and explains every detail of the vehicle, gives us time to say our thoughts concerns, let us test drive over 10+ vehicles in one day. And is then we found the one we liked which was a Toyota Corolla. He insured everything was good and made sure the mechanic on site re inspected the car. He gave us the best deal and worked with our insurance that was very difficult. Overall the car runs super good no issues what so ever. One thing I liked the most was how he texted us for two months to make sure everything was okay and following up with us. I would recommend this dealership only because of Jacob. !!!

Have loved this car! Only negative has been with towing my boat. Amy trailer causes the back to ride too low and thus lifts the front tires up so there's not enough traction to pull boat out at the ramp.

Found an Old Volvo here and the experience was great. They allowed a long test drive. And the financing was quick and easy with Kenny the managers help.

My 2006 Scion xB is the energizer bunny of small suv-type vehicles. I paid cash for it and now, 18 years later, it is still going strong. No major repairs needed, but some of its good looks need a little facelift. It's taken me all over the state and never let me down. Why can't they keep making a car of this quality??? I will drive my little box til the wheels fall off.

I bought my first (sadly dream car) after selling my c3500 for a 2004 pt cruiser last year. Now at first it was the cheapest quickest car I could buy in a flash due to growing family. However the little Chrysler that could grew on me. I bought it with just over 150k km and quickly got just under 200k km. Now I know many will judge; but this little car went almost 50k km without any work or any oil changes or maintainance. I should mentioned this cars from way up north Canada so she sees ALOT of road salt snow and mud. Also I should mention this car is my and my sons “hunting buggy” we have over sized off-road tires and 30% of the time it’s running mud and gravel roads/off-roading. Only recently have I had to change my power steering hose and have a wheel bearing, hub, alignment and a new set of tires thrown on it. That’s incredible for those of you that don’t know. Now she does have her quirks like the interior lights due to rke module and the power locks (same issue) but unlike most vehicles, just pull one fuse and problem fixed; you just don’t have power locks (boo-hoo) It’s also loud on the interior when you pull the seat from the back and haul cargo. But good luck turning your civic into a pickup truck with more issues. Long story short this has now been the second longest lasting and most reliable vehicle I’ve owned aside from aforementioned truck that I had 10k$ Custom builds into. Now she’s been running myself wife and three kids (yes this car fits three car seats and weekends worth of camping gear) for a little over a year without any issues other then I’ve caused.

I bought a Fiat 500e from JNB Motors and am thoroughly impressed. The car is in fantastic condition; almost new. A lot of used car dealers don't do much to their merchandise, but this car showed pride of ownership. When I picked up the car, it was washed, the interior looked like it came off a showroom floor...no funny smells, nothing broken,... just a perfect little car. And the whole sales process was straight forward and quick. Everything was explained to me, got copies of all the documents, and most of all....NO FAKE FEES OR CHARGES. Another dealer tried to charge me smog related fees....on an electric car and then a licensing fee despite me being an out of state buyer....I would definitely buy another car from them.

This is really a great car and has served us so well. We were going to drive it until it died (a long way off) but got a deal on a family member's car that I could not pass up. The car has a huge cargo area with the seats folded flat. It has great visibility and is a pleasure to drive. Reliable and in excellent condition. I have service records from Day 1 of owning it.

Great car drive and also great to haul just about anything Small to mid sized since the back seats fold all the way down. And it gets good Gas MPG as well.

Came to this dealership to buy a Chevy volt and had the most cared for service. Got to test drive the vehicle and check everything in my own time. There was no rush from the sales man and was even able to schedule an appointment last minute. Which was a huge help since I am coming from the Santa Monica Area. I like horse power but I don't want to give up reliability. My 2012 9.0 RS Scion xB fits the bill. ( By the way they only come in Hot Lava color ) Bought it two years ago, and since then it's never failed to start & run. I always keep it well maintained, and I've had three dealerships offer to buy it from me, ( so they can sell it for thousands more) it has 135k miles which is just breaking a Toyota/Scion in. My only complaint is: I wish Toyota put in the 180hp 2.5 Camry motor in it - it has the 2.4 158hp motor stock. I can chirp the tires off the line, it's so quick down low, but mid range and up high its average. Lord Willing I plan on keeping it. Next car will be as reliable and a little faster. Hard to find anything better than the xB in that regard..

I came to California Motor Cars based on a a vehicle I saw from a friend who showed me. After meeting with Chris he confirmed for me what I had saw online. He was so helpful and really knew a lot about the cars he showed me. Then he showed me a real low mileage Chevy Sonic that had been just traded in, that looked and drove like it was new, and my search was over. The price was better than I thought it would be. He was never pushy and was a great pleasure to do business with. I will now be recommending Chris when someone I know needs a car.

I just bought a car from Phat's Auto Group about a month ago, it was my first time buying a car. I was looking for a used Toyota SUV and found a Highlander there. Phat and Emily helped me out so much! Everyone who works there is very nice and helpful! They aren't pushy and definietly don't have the used car salesman vibe. I would definitely recommend Phat's, was worth the drive from LA to Covina. Made buying a used car much less stressful for me!

I miss mine. Bought it about 8 years ago for my son right after college. He drove it everyday until he moved to NY about 3 years ago, then I started driving it about everyday. Only trouble was a battery dying. About 3 weeks ago he moved back and now got it. SAD!!!!!. That car has the quickest pickup and can hang with the best of them for a 4 Cylinder. Toyota should have never stop making this one. Have to give it a five out of 5. I search the used car adds looking for another one.

We bought this car new in 2011. It is currently at the mechanic shop to have a full inspection. We have performed only routine maintenance to the car - brakes, wipers, oil. I replaced the battery this year just as a precaution. The only work will be to correct intermittent dash warning lights, so replacing the rear wheel seals/bearings to deal with an ABS sensor issue. My wife loves her car and wants to get a lot more years out of it.

When I was on my lowest this dealership helped me a lot specially when I needed a car the most and needed to get my wife to the hospital and thank god this dealer shop exists and helped me on my worse moments

Had this car for years. It's at 330,000 miles and still runs. Drive it alll the time. Needed a new transmission after 300,000 miles. Its true if you keep up with maintenance any car could last.

I own a Kia Soul 2016 has currently 62,000 miles ,purchased it with 23,000 miles on it.So far its been a fantastic car. No maintenance issues. Keep up with all the recommended maintenance and I'm sure your have a long time vehicle.

My Volvo has over 200K and no serious issues to speak of. It’s very comfortable for long drives. It’s also excellent plowing through deep snow and ice covered roads.
