As we tow our car often behind my wife's commercial truck, we buy a standard transmission vehicle for my use. The largest car with a manual gearbox is the Audi A6. Available models run through 2004, as it was dropped with the manual option from the US market. There are still several out there for sale and due to their quality, they are with purchasing. I bought this wagon used with 95k miles, love everything about this vehicle except when some things go wrong or breaks. It's the small electronic parts, or seat switches that get you. I think about selling it because I have too many vehicles, then I drive it, and can't get ride of it. It is a beautiful classy gliding machine!

We purchased a used TDI with 50K miles. now has over 150K and have only done oil changes and fuel filter. Only necessary repair was the HVAC blower motor just recently failed. Incredibly reliable car. Diesel engine paired with the 6 speed automatic trans delivers awesome torque whenever you need it. 50+ mpg on hwy trips and averaging 39 mpg commuting. The interior is obviously not luxurious but comfortable enough to keep you happy. I should mention the Stereo system and bluetooth is unreliable. Powers itself on and off at random and will require repair. The cargo area is surprisingly large when the seats are folded down as well.

Bought a brand new in 2019 Transit Connect, since then we only had to change the brakes and oil !!!! Love this van. Works fine for our company needs. The money that we saved on gas alone is priceless (27/28 MPG). I decided to write this now because this is the only Ford product that didn't disappoint us. Hopefully they start making this work horse again soon.

The BEST daily driver I own a 17’ S, and I love it. Holds all my stuff, holds 2 dogs, can put a ski box on top, and best of all, it shares a platform with the GTI.
