Cars Unlimited of Santa Ana may seem like your average used car dealership as you drive by. The reviews are a hit or miss online and you really don't know what to believe. My three takeaways from this place is transparency, honesty and quality. As a car enthusiast, I found a particular vehicle here I was interested in, and I worked with Peyman Reisi, the manager of Cars Unlimited of Santa Ana and I had a great experience. From Peyman to his employees everyone was extremely courteous and helpful. They were prompt to answer any questions I had about the car prior to coming in. They provided me with a Carfax and Autocheck report upon arriving and gave me ample time to check the car out and even allowed me to take it out for a lengthy test drive. The staff was fully transparent about anything they knew about the car and also fully encouraged me to have it checked out by a mechanic or dealership of my choice if I wanted to, of course, at my cost. If there were any issues, Peyman and his team said they would work on getting it sorted out, or reimburse the cost prior to finalizing the deal. You have to remember, this is a used car dealership, not everything is going to be perfect, it isn't a new car, but they will strive to make sure they get you into a solid, reliable car. Not even a large franchise dealer can guarantee something won't go wrong a few weeks down the road, that is why Peyman stands by his cars and offers a warranty if things do happen or allow you to get it fully inspected prior to purchasing. The entire team here was not pushy nor did they use any of your typical sales pitch when I was viewing the car. They were very hands off from the moment I pulled into the parking lot and the moment I left with the car. They gave you just the right amount of attention without being overbearing and pushy on the sale, whether you buy a car or not, they will treat you the same way they'd want to be treated. I observed this with different customers they interacted with. They have a very good selection of cars, and if they don't have what you're looking for, they can help source it for you and have it fully checked out prior to you purchasing it. At the end of the day, use your due diligence when buying a used car, whether it's from a smaller dealership like this one or a large franchise one. Not every car will be perfect, but it is the actions and integrity of the dealership that will set it apart. Just bought a RARE 2008 Lincoln Navigator L Limited with only 130k miles. The buying experience was the easiest, quickest car buying experience ever. Cornell was fair priced and there was zero pressure! I had a 2007 Nav for 15 years prior and had been searching for years for another Lincoln with lower miles. So glad I found it here, a couple days after buying the car it had a totally normal hose issue where a plastic piece (manufacturer decent) broke and for fear of it overheating, Cornell had it towed to his mechanic and repaired at no charge to me - ABOVE & BEYOND service, truly the best experience during what would be a normally stressful event - Cornell took care of it fast and with kindness! Will be directing all family and friends to him for used car needs in the future. Thank you so much Cornell!

I still love my priusv.Bought it new in oct.2012 went to Florida 6 winter with it I change oil every 6 month.very good on gas.In 10 yr. I put a set of wiper at one time. At my last inspection last October 2022 I had to have new brake in the back. That was it new tires of course.I can almost give it a 5 star but l will give it a 4.8 red & beige inside.

The car is amazing. Far drives are more comfortable then imagined not only for me but my children too. No complaint of having to stop and stretch or their backs hurt.

This vehicle is comfortable and a smooth drive. Size is good for extra passengers and/or hauling equipment. I am looking forward to talking a road trip.

Have loved this car! Only negative has been with towing my boat. Amy trailer causes the back to ride too low and thus lifts the front tires up so there's not enough traction to pull boat out at the ramp.

I like horse power but I don't want to give up reliability. My 2012 9.0 RS Scion xB fits the bill. ( By the way they only come in Hot Lava color ) Bought it two years ago, and since then it's never failed to start & run. I always keep it well maintained, and I've had three dealerships offer to buy it from me, ( so they can sell it for thousands more) it has 135k miles which is just breaking a Toyota/Scion in. My only complaint is: I wish Toyota put in the 180hp 2.5 Camry motor in it - it has the 2.4 158hp motor stock. I can chirp the tires off the line, it's so quick down low, but mid range and up high its average. Lord Willing I plan on keeping it. Next car will be as reliable and a little faster. Hard to find anything better than the xB in that regard..

The telephone call was pleasant. The sales person was cordial, and informative. Our problem was she is on the West coast, and I am on the East coast! It's, as you might expect, difficult to buy something sight unseen.

Nissan Cube 2012 one problem only, the kids on street lauph when see this car, thats made my kids angry and hate this model. but I loved this Car, it is really smooth and comfortable, inside with space wide roomly, all parts is good. I use big Tire, I drive this car sice 8 years. when I drive for long time, I fell it is the best Car on the World. spetially for good Road/Clean Road. in mountain it is a very good car and powerfull when I drive clambing mountain or Hills. I like it a lot.

I love my 2004 Impreza Outback Sport. It’s safe, spacious, and does all that I ask it to. Great in the snow and a blast on curvy backroads. Handles great. The only modification I’ve done is that I’ve put 2.5rs / WRX 5 spoke alloys on it. Same size as the original so no change in performance. This would make a great first car too.

Our 2015 2.4L Soul has been great. My wife works a split shift, so she commutes to and from work Twice a day. So it gets a lot of highway miles. We also have gone cross country a few times. Always serviced at the dealer (which is more expensive), But it kept the warranty alive. Engine needed replaced at 95K due to oil consumption, but warranty covered it. Now at 220K AC compressor died. But that is the 1st repair we have had to do. Everything else is holding up fine.

We managed to come to an agreement and purchased the car we wanted. There was not much negotiation, but the car was well priced to begin with. We agreed to pay $500 additional in order to drive the car away and have our mechanic inspect it. We got a week to report any issues and could return the car for a full refund if not satisfied by any necessary repairs. Ultimately the car checked out and the only problem was a piece of windshield trim that flew off on the way home. We negotiated a $200 refund and got the repair done by our mechanic so we didn’t have to drive the car back to the dealer. So far, so good.

The Best “used” car I’ve ever owned. The comfort paired with the economy is EXEMPLARY. The uneducated rumor that it doesn’t have any room is a total lie. I’m 6’3 and weigh 240 and have a ton of room!

The Crosstrek was the most reliable car I ever had and it never failed to get me somewhere, even in deep snow and ice in very rural areas. In fact, I liked this one so much, I bought a newer model as my next car. The AWD, comfort, and ease of drive of this car is excellent,

Bought my Crosstrek from the dealer, and have owned many cars, raced cars, built cars, and even owned my own auto repair shop. The 2013 was first year out, and yes it has improved over the years so I can't leave a 5-star review. The strong points for me have been reliability and looks. Secondary has been a 4cyl with great gas mileage, and decent performance. Interior noise is a little higher than an SUV like a 4Runner, sound system sucks, and Subaru probably should have mated it with a turbo, but overall it has been a great ride, and Subaru fixed many of these issues in later editions. The AWD is amazing in the rain! For those that have the oil consumption in later years, just add engine "restore", and the issue is solved. Replace your bearing w/ the backing plates, and you should be good to go for another 100K. For the first year out, Subaru did an amazing job.

We bought a car here today. Jafar the manager was great. He did not pressure us into anything. He let us take our time to decide which car was best for us. No haggling just like the ad says. No hidden fees is a plus in my books. All in All a good buying experience.

At a time when I was moving around two dogs and a cat, this car was an absolute must. It was a great value to start and even more so now that I use it as a second vehicle. The only maintenance I've done is the routine oil changes, etc. I expect to own it for another 10 years

I bought my 2008 Cruiser in 2011 used with 30k miles on it. It's been 13 years and I STILL have it. It now has 170k miles and it didn't start having issues until maybe 2 or 3 years ago. First thing that cut out was the AC but I consider that a luxury and can't afford to get it fixed so I've been driving without it for a while. Maybe 5 years ago the suspension had to be replaced and the camshaft sensor had to be replaced like 3 times over the course of a year. About 3 years ago the radiator blew and needed to be replaced. And just last year ('23) the control arm needed to be replaced, and it started giving me issues overheating. Just this month (August '24) it needed a coolant flush, new thermostat, new radiator fan, and fuel pump. But with all the old car repairs, every time something is fixed, it keeps going and the repairs hold up. This little car has lasted longer than I ever thought it would and I'm going to keep it going as long as I can. Other than engine issues as the car has aged, the rest of it is decent. Good leg room, surprising amount of space. It's gotten me through 3 moves and I've packed so many moving boxes in there I didn't need to rent a moving van. I'm 35 now and still driving around my first car (mainly because I'm poor but whatever). I have so many good memories with this cat and I'm so glad it's lasted so long.

Bought new in 04 and in 2022 with 175k miles still running well. Original almost everything except tires and battery. Transmission might be starting to slip.
