I am in my seventies and didn't want to buy new so i I looked at over twenty used vehicles during my search. This Subaru Outback was the best driving vehicle of all that I tried. My experience at Boucher Ford in Janesville was fantastic. I was treated like a true customer with respect and caring for my needs.

I looked at several vehicles that were all in good condition and reasonably priced. The hardest part was deciding which car I wanted to take home!

I bought my car used, private party 2 years ago. It had over 200k miles logged. I drive about 1400 miles every other month going to Northern California. I LOVE MY CUBE. It's spacious, carries a load without a problem. The gas mileage can't be beat. I do have a problem with the back door not opening. The locking mechanism is faulty. I believe the frequency of this specific problem, Nissan should have a recall to replace the faulty locking mechanism. In 2 years the rear door has been the only problem Nissan did a good job with this vehicle

Carmax has a wide variety of used cars to check out if you are not sure what you want. We found a 2018 Hyundai Sante Fe Sport with less than 8000 miles. Very nice vehicle that is roomy with lots of cool options. My sales agent was very nice, no pressure and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes to sign the paperwork. I would buy from Carmax again!

I have owned a Kia Soul Brownstone Edition for 6 years now. It hasn't given us any issues aside from a brake ABS failure in warranty. However, since Kia skimped out on immobilizers, I wouldn't get one without push button start, which is most of them, unfortunately. While they extended the warranty on the engine, they have plenty of fundamental issues with it, and also, my Kia after 4 years, has noises in front and back suspension sway bars, and the strut tower bearings make noise. While these don't need to be fixed, they make the car sound like crap. I just drove a 2019 Kona with the same amount of miles, and the suspension on that was just fine. Might be due to the larger wheels and smaller profile tires, I don't know. If Kia ever sells the EV soul in the US, I'd get that. So far, they've been good.

David was great to work with and his wife, Adele, as well. I drive two hours to see the car and was able to drive away less than an hour later. Couldn’t have had a better car biting situation, I would completely recommend working with David.

In 2013 we purchased a 2011 Suburban Chevrolet LTZ 7 passenger seats it’s the best purchased we have ever made . It has 99,000 miles we are in 2025 and it’s running like brand new. We haven’t spent one penny except for regular breaks and oil maintenance . I will never sell it , I will run it to the ground changing the parts that will need maintenance ! You can tow we use it for our fishing boat , it’s so spacious and the mileage for this size truck is pretty darn good ..

There buying process is pretty simple and easy, easier than I thought it would be! And I received great service and have no complaints, plan on buying my next car from them as well!

I own a Kia Soul 2016 has currently 62,000 miles ,purchased it with 23,000 miles on it.So far its been a fantastic car. No maintenance issues. Keep up with all the recommended maintenance and I'm sure your have a long time vehicle.

Just recently purchased a Nissan Kicks at the Independence CarMax, we had previously purchased a Nissan Sentra {about 2 weeks prior) but we found it eventually getting into the vehicle difficult for the age as I am getting older (seventies in my case) the Kicks we have now is a wonderful vehicle. Rick Gross was our salesperson. He did a wonderful job explaining every aspect of our purchase. Matthew and Sharon handle the financial side of our purchase and also was clear on 30-day refund policy and purchase of our Kicks. I would highly recommend this CarMax in Independence; they took time to give us peace of mind on our new Nissan Kicks.

I bought my 2008 Vibe new in 2008 for $12,500 with a used trade down-payment. Now 154,000 miles later it still runs, looks, and rides like almost new. I bought a 2021 Jeep Wrangler that spends a lot of time sitting in the garage as the Vibe still gets most of my driving into the city workouts. Well worth the $45/mo addl. insurance policy. Not one single engine issue - ever. 32 mpg reliable - just can't be replaced.

I still love my priusv.Bought it new in oct.2012 went to Florida 6 winter with it I change oil every 6 month.very good on gas.In 10 yr. I put a set of wiper at one time. At my last inspection last October 2022 I had to have new brake in the back. That was it new tires of course.I can almost give it a 5 star but l will give it a 4.8 red & beige inside.

Each year, we’re saving $6,000–$7,000 combined on fuel and maintenance compared to when we drove gasoline cars. We get about 250-300 miles of range depending on heat and AC use. We bought them used around $20k each, had batteries replaced in 2020 so 100,000 mile warranty, can't beat it! Charging at Home Is Simple, either use 110v and charge overnight or upgrade 220v dryer plug We picked up a Level 2 home charger for about $150 on Amazon. Installing and running it is as simple as hooking up clothes dryer. The charger just uses a standard 240V outlet, and the energy demand is nothing unusual for a typical household. Pulls same amount of power as microwave or toaster oven. Real Cost to Charge Let’s run the math: Electric rate: $0.10 per kWh Efficiency: ~4.5 miles per kWh Monthly driving: 2,000 miles each car That works out to: 2,000 miles at 4.5miles/kW at 10cents/kW= $44/month So for just $44 a month, each Bolt drives 2,000 miles. The Salesperson Made an Amazing Car Buying Experience We went to CarMax in Independence to look for a mid-sized SUV with relatively low mileage at a reasonable price, and we found what we were looking for. A 2022 Chevy Equinox with less than 19,000 miles, in great condition and at a price and payment terms that are acceptable and affordable. I have bought a few cars in the past and I always went to “traditional” dealerships to purchase them. This was my first experience with CarMax and I can honestly say that I was blown away by the relaxing and laid back, yes I said relaxing and laid back, car buying experience! No sales pressure, no haggling over price, just a straight up purchase with no hidden or confusing terms or agreements. Everything was laid out on the table. Plain and simple. The salesperson, Austin Hubbard, was a pleasure to work with. We were facing a very difficult personal situation that could have easily made the car buying experience extremely challenging and stressful. I own several American cars in the past and I'll never buy another American car again after buying this Subaru. I feel a lot safer and a lot more comfortable in the Subaru Crosstrek than I ever felt in any American car built that I ever drove

Bought my Crosstrek from the dealer, and have owned many cars, raced cars, built cars, and even owned my own auto repair shop. The 2013 was first year out, and yes it has improved over the years so I can't leave a 5-star review. The strong points for me have been reliability and looks. Secondary has been a 4cyl with great gas mileage, and decent performance. Interior noise is a little higher than an SUV like a 4Runner, sound system sucks, and Subaru probably should have mated it with a turbo, but overall it has been a great ride, and Subaru fixed many of these issues in later editions. The AWD is amazing in the rain! For those that have the oil consumption in later years, just add engine "restore", and the issue is solved. Replace your bearing w/ the backing plates, and you should be good to go for another 100K. For the first year out, Subaru did an amazing job.

NA. I got oil change and got the usual good service. On time and done quickly. Staff was attentive and had no problems. Will return.

For teenagers who are about to get their leaners permit, i say this is the perfect first car. Its slow i know, but it will prevent your kids from speeding lol. Its very reliable, that i bought another xB. now i have a 2006 and 2005 Scion xB. I had my 2006 since 2007, at 30k miles. Now it has 411k miles with the same engine, transmission and head gasket. Whats crazier, is i just changed my original alternator from 2005 2 weeks ago on my 2006! My 2006 is just a regular car, a auto transmission. my 05, which i bought on November, is a manual sports car. It has a rare exhaust manifold, a chevy straight pipe camero piping and tiping, coming out from the middle of the rear bumper, which is very loud despite it being a slow car. I just gave it a spoiler, new stereo, new seat covers, new halogen spider headlights, new interior underglow, and pretty soon, i will give it a new paint!! I love Scion!!
