Bought our 2017 on New Year’s Eve 2016. Choose an SV model with optional premium package. Heated seats,heated steering wheel,remote start, pwr tailgate and upgraded info screen with many cameras and nav. As of November 2024, it has been absolutely bulletproof. We bought the car for our 16-year-old daughter and it has carried her through high school and now college with only one issue. I have had to replace the battery three times only oil changes. A set of brakes and a set of tires and service the CVT transmission. I learned this is highly important for the CVT to get the maximum life out of it, since it is a weak spot. Dealer charges about $200 to do it. Do it every 30k. Ours has performed flawlessly! Negatives- At 6 foot two I find a hard driving position. The power seat does not go back far enough but if I lower the seat all the way to the floor it gives me the room I need but then I feel like I’m sitting in a bathtub, but hey, it’s not my car so I rarely drive it Performance around town is very good! You can find yourself getting a speeding ticket on city Street if you’re not careful. Highway power is just OK I find it if you’re trying to cruise 80 miles an hour with other people in the car the CVT is constantly revving the engine out to get maximum performance and hold the Cruise control. I also find there’s quite a bit of road noise at freeway speeds especially if you’re sitting in the backseat. The cloth upholstery on the zero gravity seats stains way too easily especially if you have a tan colored interior I have to steam clean them at least every six months, my daughter is an athlete and she sometimes gets in the car sweaty with a water bottle between her legs and just the moisture stains the heck out of the seat. Overall, though for about $26,000 it’s hard to beat. It’s been reliable it’s safe and I have felt extremely comfortable putting my child in it and sending her off to college. I imagine she will keep it for many more years after graduation.

I bought used in 2023 a 2015 premium with 214k miles. I drove it 6k miles and only replaced the CV axle, this isn't impressive sounding but it was going through constant , aggressive off reading due to the rough road conditions I had to use because I live in the rocky mountains. I got in a rollover a 60 mph and I had no injuries, airbags kept me safe. Fuel economy was dismal with 21 in the city and 24 in the highway, safety and reliability are top tier, power was surprisingly adequate, the Bluetooth was appreciated and all the safety tech and other tech was very useable and helpful and accurate. Love the car would buy it again if I had the chance

I've had my 2019 Bolt Premier for a month now and it's really a clever little vehicle. Nimble and fun to drive with lots of room (can fit two mt bikes in the back). Coming from a VW GTI I expected the Bolt to be a substantial step down, but it's not. Granted the GTI is leagues ahead in both interior and exterior build quality, but the Bolt is no slouch in terms of what a fun-sized EV hatch should be. With a low center of gravity, loads of "O" torque and a decent suspension, the Bolt doesn't embarrass itself while performing it's appointed tasks around town. Sure, the steering could benefit from taking a communications class and the brakes are less than linier but the single pedal driving dynamic is outstanding (I could seriously go on for a while regarding how intuitive the one pedal regen system is on the Bolt, kudos to GM for their work on this feature). The rest of the gripes about the Bolt (plastic interior, uncomfortable front seats, low res screens, odd styling) I think miss the mark regarding the sum of it's parts. At the end of the day, does the Bolt deliver a satisfying experience and leave you with a smile? Absolutely!

Love this car. It’s drives well. I have owned for two years and it’s very reliable and affordable to maintain. It’s always fun to drive. Great cargo room. Great stereo and audio features. Great gas mileage. I really really love it. Best car ever. I have had outback’s, Prius, accords, civics, and carollos and this car is the best. So happy with it. I am waiting for a new fresher model to come out but not in a rush.

Each year, we’re saving $6,000–$7,000 combined on fuel and maintenance compared to when we drove gasoline cars. We get about 250-300 miles of range depending on heat and AC use. We bought them used around $20k each, had batteries replaced in 2020 so 100,000 mile warranty, can't beat it! Charging at Home Is Simple, either use 110v and charge overnight or upgrade 220v dryer plug We picked up a Level 2 home charger for about $150 on Amazon. Installing and running it is as simple as hooking up clothes dryer. The charger just uses a standard 240V outlet, and the energy demand is nothing unusual for a typical household. Pulls same amount of power as microwave or toaster oven. Real Cost to Charge Let’s run the math: Electric rate: $0.10 per kWh Efficiency: ~4.5 miles per kWh Monthly driving: 2,000 miles each car That works out to: 2,000 miles at 4.5miles/kW at 10cents/kW= $44/month So for just $44 a month, each Bolt drives 2,000 miles. Compare that to a gas car at 30 MPG and $3.50/gallon: 2,000 miles at 30MPG= 66.7gals times $3.50 = $233/month That’s nearly $190/month in savings per car, just on fuel. Purchased used S 5-speed manual with 33,000 miles on it about four years back. Just passed 100,000 miles last month. Only one problem so far, with the passenger door latch assembly. We get about 37 MPG mixed city and highway, and 45-50 MPG in interstate highway driving. FWD and snow tires work fine here in Wisconsin. The turbo motor and 5-speed provide all of the acceleration one will *actually* need, and also provide those great economy numbers. As part of the Golf platform, it's a solid car and the handling is good. The ride comfort is also good, maybe enhanced by the taller 16" tires on the S version. Simple controls, without an overly complicated radio / info system. Manual ventilation controls (knobs) are a huge plus. With the rear seats down, it has about the same cargo space as our 2009 Subaru Outback: little narrower but also a little longer. Good outward visibility. Driver seat can get a little tiring after a long drive (4 hours or more) but it's comparable with other highway vehicles we've owned. Reasonably quiet inside considering it's essentially an economy vehicle. A very nice economy vehicle, though. We like it enough that we're considering getting another one before there are no more good wagons in the market.

This car looks great and is a pleasure to drive. Mileage is good and the car handles very well. One flaw, though, is that there’s no button from inside to raise the hatchback or a button on the key fob to open it. It’s also a bit hard to reach up and close the hatchback. If these things were included, the car would be flawless.

I no longer have a working computer, but I did wait 1 1/2 hours on the phone for assistance, really even longer more than a month before. I have been calling since August without any results until today 9/12/23

Before purchase, I did extensive research on this vehicle bc it was it was as close to a Mini Countryman in design as I could find. I am completely satisfied & never regretted after many miles & years. I am forever amazed at how well it is designed for comfort & ease of repairs. It contains more standard options than most and more than some expensive top of the line brands. After 9 years behind the wheel of this 2014 plus, I can only desire two faults that I'd improve, and that's the sides of the hood get dented very easily & the steering "feel" is very dead and unresponsive

I have owned a Kia Soul Brownstone Edition for 6 years now. It hasn't given us any issues aside from a brake ABS failure in warranty. However, since Kia skimped out on immobilizers, I wouldn't get one without push button start, which is most of them, unfortunately. While they extended the warranty on the engine, they have plenty of fundamental issues with it, and also, my Kia after 4 years, has noises in front and back suspension sway bars, and the strut tower bearings make noise. While these don't need to be fixed, they make the car sound like crap. I just drove a 2019 Kona with the same amount of miles, and the suspension on that was just fine. Might be due to the larger wheels and smaller profile tires, I don't know. If Kia ever sells the EV soul in the US, I'd get that. So far, they've been good.

I’ve had my 2019 trax 52k miles for almost 3 years, absolutely love the car no problems so far(knock on wood) only small minor inconvenience a ground wire got a little dusty and was cleaned. I have done the pcv fix as Chevy did not make it good for these engines in the long run. Not a lot of power for my liking so I modified some components. Not very friendly for tall people im 6’3 and have my seat set almost all the way back.

Let’s start off with what went bad. I purchased a 2016 ‘Vette and less than 24 hours later the AC went out. To my dismay, I DID NOT purchase an extended warranty. Now, onto the rest of the experience. The team at Emmons Autoplex took complete care of me. They almost had to replace an entire AC system in order to fix the issue at no cost to me other than the time and gas it took to get there. The car was in immaculate physical condition, and was the cheapest C7 corvette within 100 miles. Kevin handled the no pressure, no hassle sale like a champ and the service team took care of the rest of the issues. The general manager even offered to completely scrub the deal if they could not complete the repairs. Overall, it was a great experience and instilled confidence in the organization as a whole on how they would handle business in the future. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from Emmons Autoplex.

25K trouble free miles so far. Everybody picks on the 55 kW maximum charge speed, but the car is so efficient that it still adds 100 mi in ½ an hour at a DC station. Imagine a 200 HP Fit, and you've got the idea. Zero dollars on maintenance/repair.
