I have a tan 2005 Subaru Outback I got it 6 years ago for 6,000. now it’s at 178k miles. Did it really go up in value? or is this a brand new one? (Just had an issue - starter, replaced it - he said “clearly you take very good care of it, gonna in good shape for a long time now”)

I bought this car in early 2021 (Premium Plus package) and have had it for about a year now. I'm absolutely in love with the car - the handling, passing power, refined cabin with all the bells and whistles, aggressive body lines for a wagon and overall size. I've long owned wagons; mostly subarus with a WRX, Forester and Crosstrek XV; and was once a die hard Subie owner... until I got into this Audi and it blew my mind. Subaru is not known for its interior features or designs, so the refinement and design of the interior on the Allroad was a major change for me and I never realized how much I appreciate the bells and whistles like power seats, heated seats, Bluetooth compatibility, Nav, independent climate controls, etc. Most notably is the highway power... the "get-up" in this car at freeway speeds is absolutely outstanding and excites me everytime I need to pass. Took it on a road trip to southern Cali last summer and was very impressed with the gas mileage on the long trip (about 420 miles to a tank) and the ride is soooooo smooth and enjoyable. I long commuted from Phoenix to Sacramento (780 miles/13hrs) in my Subaru's and by hour 6-7, I was always hurting... took me about 8 hours to get to SoCal last summer and the entire duration of the drive was enjoyable and my body felt great upon arrival in the Allroad. If you like wagon's... this is the vehicle to own!

I have owned lots of suvs and own a BMW 328i sedan as well. I have owned a Volvo s40 sedan when I was younger. I needed something with AWD, so I considered another boring suv but liking a more sporty car like appearance I got the xc70. I have a 2006 model with 43,000 miles. I have a roof rack on it and a cage. I can put my bikes on top or in the back. It’s awesome in the snow. Good for pets in the back with an optional net or cage you can buy from Volvo. Love this wagon. It’s utilitarian and gets most stuff done. I plan on keeping this Volvo as a “lifer” while owning another sedan. Plus this generation was the last to be truly Swedish as in built there I believe. Great vehicle.

I've been getting all of the routine service on my 2016 Jeep Patriot done here since I bought it new (from a different dealership in a distant city) and have never been disappointed. Staff have all been great and have never had any issues. Free coffee while waiting and a decent waiting room too. They even have a cell phone charger in the waiting room, which I had to make use of on my most recent visit.

My Scion Xb is 12 now and acts like the champ it was in 2011. It was a lease car so I don't know how it was treated day to day. Yes, the milage was a little high. The paint job is something to see also. It's metallic amethyst (purple). I got it for 12k because of it's history. It was also a dealers online bate car. I love it all around. No major problems in 12 years.

As we tow our car often behind my wife's commercial truck, we buy a standard transmission vehicle for my use. The largest car with a manual gearbox is the Audi A6. Available models run through 2004, as it was dropped with the manual option from the US market. There are still several out there for sale and due to their quality, they are with purchasing. Love the high quality finishes and powerful performance. My last one I purchased was an incredible value. I highly recommend!

This car is much fun, it has the power to get you up to speed when you need too. Plus if you like simple that’s what the car is, simple. The dual-clutch 6 speed automatic is pretty quick. The interior is simple it has everything you need like ventilated leather seats nice trim. It is all plastic but besides the point. Overall I use this car as a daily and it never lets me down

I was given this car back in November 2023. I owned the car for 1 year and 3 months. Loved the heated cloth seats. Drove from Washington to California and back no problem. Near the end I drove it though the Washington winter. I had to sell it because my mother wanted me to get a newer vehicle. A new driver is driving the car now. Highly recommend this car.

Bought my Crosstrek from the dealer, and have owned many cars, raced cars, built cars, and even owned my own auto repair shop. The 2013 was first year out, and yes it has improved over the years so I can't leave a 5-star review. The strong points for me have been reliability and looks. Secondary has been a 4cyl with great gas mileage, and decent performance. Interior noise is a little higher than an SUV like a 4Runner, sound system sucks, and Subaru probably should have mated it with a turbo, but overall it has been a great ride, and Subaru fixed many of these issues in later editions. The AWD is amazing in the rain! For those that have the oil consumption in later years, just add engine "restore", and the issue is solved. Replace your bearing w/ the backing plates, and you should be good to go for another 100K. For the first year out, Subaru did an amazing job.

This is a well-designed and solidly built car. It is just what we needed for road trips, recreation exploration and zipping around town. Plenty of room for the size we were looking for. The front console is a little busy, but this is our first Volvo so we just need to adapt to the new layout.

Each year, we’re saving $6,000–$7,000 combined on fuel and maintenance compared to when we drove gasoline cars. We get about 250-300 miles of range depending on heat and AC use. We bought them used around $20k each, had batteries replaced in 2020 so 100,000 mile warranty, can't beat it! Charging at Home Is Simple, either use 110v and charge overnight or upgrade 220v dryer plug We picked up a Level 2 home charger for about $150 on Amazon. Installing and running it is as simple as hooking up clothes dryer. The charger just uses a standard 240V outlet, and the energy demand is nothing unusual for a typical household. Pulls same amount of power as microwave or toaster oven. Real Cost to Charge Let’s run the math: Electric rate: $0.10 per kWh Efficiency: ~4.5 miles per kWh Monthly driving: 2,000 miles each car That works out to: 2,000 miles at 4.5miles/kW at 10cents/kW= $44/month So for just $44 a month, each Bolt drives 2,000 miles. Compare that to a gas car at 30 MPG and $3.50/gallon: 2,000 miles at 30MPG= 66.7gals times $3.50 = $233/month That’s nearly $190/month in savings per car, just on fuel. Things I look for when I'm purchasing a car: 1) Integrity of dealership and salespeople 2) Quality of car 3) Price, Price, Price I recently bought a BMW 550i from Complete Automotive. I was very specific in color combination, options and mileage I was looking for. I literally searched all over the country. But I kept finding myself going back to the BMW at Complete. The salespeople were very knowledgeable, and instead of trying to pressure me into a quick deal, they made a point of getting to know me and understanding what I was trying to accomplish. There are plenty of good reasons to be wary of car dealers. Let's just say many play into the stereotype of sleazy, greasy, pushy creeps. Complete Automotive couldn't be farther from that stereotype. If every business could run like this, the world would be a better place.

Runs great, very nice look, and fits my needs. The vehicle also fit within my budget so it made purchasing very easy. I’ve owned a Volvo in the past as well.
