So far I am very pleased with my Toyota Tacoma, it
So far I am very pleased with my Toyota Tacoma, it is more than I expected and the biggest surprise is the low interior noise and the smooth ride. I was able to go down to south Florida (Pembroke Pine area with my three kid and they enjoyed the ride. Every time we are going some where they want me to take the Tacoma instead of my wife Honda mini van. - Purchased a Used car

Tacoma owner for years
Excellent truck, Tacoma's are great for everyday use and great in snow. Fun to drive, reliable, cost effective, well made, visually appealing, long lasting, great product for the price. - Purchased a New car

I’m very impressed
I’ve had a lot of full size V8 trucks, this is my first Tacoma. At 5’10 it has plenty of room, I like the long bed, and 4x4 gives me options to get off the pavement. These trucks are very reliable, fuel efficient and have a ton of accessories to set yours apart. This truck rides better than my 2018 F150 2wd eco boost. Got the 100k warranty, It should provide years of fun - Purchased a Used car

YOU CAN'T BEAT THE DEPENDABILITY OF A TACOMA
This is my third tacoma double cab, and I have had nothing but great service from these trucks. From commuting to work or going to the woods, you can't beat it. - Purchased a Used car

As always, best in class without a doubt.
Started with a 1993 Toyota pickup (before the Tacoma name) 2003 Off Road, 2014 Sport & now a happy owner of a fully loaded Sport model since July 2018. I really didn't consider anything else because nothing else in it's class compares to the Tacoma. It is by far the hottest looking truck on the road & I've tweaked mine to my personal style. I don't notice any transmission shifting issues or any stiff driving that some owners complain about. The ride is very smooth, although I do agree that the seats do become very hard on longer drives & the Entune radio tethering errors can be frustrating, but the pros far outweigh the cons. From all the great safety features to the power moon roof & sliding rear window, heated seats, hard tonneau cover w/locking tailgate & much more, I love this truck & would highly recommend it. Yes, the Tacoma may be more expensive, but like anything else you get what you pay for & you'll be a lot more satisfied if & when you decide to resale or trade. I know because I've been in the Toyota family for 28+ years. - Purchased a New car

Not as good as the generations that came before it
I bought my 2018 TRD Off Road in December of 2018 as a new vehicle. I bought it as a weekend driver and after two years plus I finally traded it in with 4k for miles. The quality is just not as good as Toyota trucks from the past. I should know, this was my fourth Toyota truck and easily the worst one of the bunch. The audio system is first in class junk. The dash had numerous rattles when freezing. The blower motor rattles when freezing. The transmission shifts weird even with the firmware update. It made it better, but the engine is just wrong for this truck. The A/C system is so poorly designed that there's a TSB to add another cooling fan. There are numerous TSBs that should be researched before buying this truck used. Examples include, timing cover leaks, 3rd brake light leaks, rear diff noise. Do your homework before buying used. The only good thing I can say was I lost very little trading it in, because Tacoma owners are cultish and drive the prices high. - Purchased a New car

Underpowered!!
Very disappointed in my 2018 Tacoma sport. Can’t maintain speed especially with 400 lbs of cargo. Wouldn’t tow with this truck. Transmission seems to be problem. Shifting is all over the place and have to downshift just to keep up with traffic. Had it for 2.5 years and 18k miles. This is my 2nd Tacoma and my first got me to 300000 miles. I’ll be trading this in - Purchased a New car

Toyota loyalty
This truck is very similar to the one I purchased in 1988. Loved that one and sure I will love this one a little more. - Purchased a Used car

My Toyota Tacoma went up in flames
Within three months of getting my 2018 Toyota Tacoma I started having transmission problems and Toyota said that because there was no code they couldn’t fix it yet my fuel mileage went from great to 14 miles per gallon and when I went into Toyota they said I had a load in the bag which actually consisted of three bags of leaves and a tote with six bricks in it I even bought the extended warranty which I canceled because a Toyota care can’t cover on their bumper to bumper then why would I assume the extended warranty would be any different Toyota is not the same company I’ve dealt with for the past 20+ years and as a family we’ve decided to go in another direction so we went from a family with around $750,000 worth of Toyota’s family with various different cars because of lack of dependability from the Toyota care system m even my wife’s 2010 Toyota Highlander they had no idea what was wrong with it until the warranty went out then not only did they know what was wrong with it but how to fix it so I’m now looking for a new car because my Toyota Tacoma burn up on side of the road due to something in the dash I am assuming all I figure that until the NTSB steps in or they do a cost analysis the problem won’t be fixed until someone is hurt or they’re forced to take care of the problem I used to love Toyota now I’m looking for Someone who will stand by their product I figure what good is a warranty bumper-to-bumper or not if they won’t fix anything - Purchased a New car
