Best vehicle I've ever owned
I bought my 2014 Pilot Touring 4x4 used 4 years ago with 67k miles on her. We're at 150k now still going strong other than tires and routine maintenance no issues at all. She handles great on all terrain and in all weather, shes big enough to haul the family around town, move across the country in comfort or a weekend at the lake and you'd never know there was a trailer or a boat behind you. They did lose a star on the exterior for the paint peel on the roof above the windshield as others have mentioned. - Purchased a Used car

Great SUV but Beware of common issues
BEWARE OF THE PAINT ISSUES WITH THESE SUV'S. My Maroon Pilot has chipping paint on the roof due to poor clear coat by Honda and it is going to cost $1700 to get it repainted. BEWARE OF THE VCM ISSUES AS WELL...When the Pilot goes into Economy mode it shuts down 3 cylinders that often get starved for oil. The cylinders will then fail and thats an expensive job to repair. I really love the Pilot but I wish Honda would own up to the issues they are having instead of blaming them on the customer. I do love the amout of room in the car and I love the boxy look. The Pilot handles great in the snow as well - Purchased a Used car

Don’t buy one with more than 60000 miles on it!!!
Great reputation, reputation is not real ! Mine has 120,000 miles on it. It started vibrating while driving. The electronic active motor mounts needed to be replaced. You better hang on … the parts alone were $1400 then $1700 labor!!!! $3100 and now it needs a radiator and an electronic gizmo for the navigation system. That’s another $2500. Great when new but expensive as it gets older. My CR-V not a dime except for normal maintenance and it has 310000 miles on it. I’m not getting rid of it as it is in fantastic shape but if something else big comes up it’s outa here! - Purchased a Used car

Electronics issues at the 8 year mark?
Have a 2014 white Honda Pilot with 74k miles on it. Just giving a rundown of things that have needed to be addressed since I purchased it in Nov. 2016. I live in Fl where I've heard that the heat & humidity wreak havoc on car electronics in general. Sept. 2021 - Replaced Multiplex Control Unit (MCIU) due to a parasitic drain on the battery. Went through 2 batteries in two months because of this issue. Sept. 16, 2022 - Car battery was completely dead. Had it towed into local dealer for diagnosis. They could not find an issue with any electronics. Sept. 26, 2022 - Car battery appears to have power, but vehicle won't start after attempting to turn the ignition. Could be the starter, but won't know until it gets towed. - Purchased a Used car

2014 Honda Pilot paint problems
My 2014 Honda Pilot was fine until the white diamond paint began to peel off the roof and bubble on the rear tailgate.I have notified Honda of this and they say I am 1 year out of warranty. So far Honda has not accepted resposibility for this. - Purchased a Used car

Although a little dated.....
Although a little dated, this Pilot is actually better than it's newer models. Built like a tank but runs and rides like a limo, this pilot was built to last. Many luxury amenities only found in much more expensive competitors models. With proper care, this baby will easily pass the 200,000 mile marker. - Purchased a Used car
