This was the third Honda me or a loved one had owned. It was bought brand new in November 2010. My dad used this car to commute to and from work. After four years and only 50,000 miles, the problems started. At around 51,300 miles, the transmission fell apart. On the freeway, no less. We had the car fixed and the same thing happened the next year. This time, in our driveway. After getting it fixed again, my father used it for another three years before the parking brake broke. The cable literally SNAPPED. We got it fixed and then my dad gave the car to me. I would drive it to my work and back. About two years and 30,000 more miles later, a check engine light appeared. It was because there was a problem with the gas cap not being tight enough. We couldn’t fix this problem, so we ignored it. Then, we finally got rid of it a year after when the transmission died AGAIN! We got the car fixed and traded it in for a Ford Fusion. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HONDAS!! THEY ARE UNRELIABLE!!
