(upbeat music) Hi, this is Joe Bruzek from cars.com. We're here with the 2009 Nissan 370Z. This is the successor to the Nissan 350Z. And it's one of the best sports cars you can buy for around $30,000.
Has amazing handling, great horsepower, and excellent road manners. Let's see what's changed. Compared to the outgoing 350Z, the 370Z is much more civilized. It's quieter, hits fewer bumps, and the acceleration is much better with the extra power. Just make sure you buy the manual transmission. One of the new features on the 370Z is an auto rev match for the manual transmission. These have been used in automatics. But on the manual, what it does is without flipping the throttle with your foot, the engine will automatically flip the throttle when you downshift for smoother gear changes. Now, this is also can be used when you're racing for what's commonly known as heel-toe shifting, which is often difficult to master. But with this feature, makes it seem like a pro. There's some stark visual differences between the 350Z and the 370Z. It's now shorter, lighter, and the overall proportions make it look much more like a true sports car. For 2009 the 370 is only available as a coupe. If you want the convertible, wait until next year.
