The Toyota Corolla received a midcycle refresh for the 2011 model year. The refresh tries to address the fact that the model is one of the older entries in the compact space. While it’s still functional, the updates don’t go far enough in bringing the Corolla up to snuff against newer competitors, according to Cars.com editor Mike Hanley.
