2012 Buick Verano Video

It’s amazing that just two years ago, Buick had only one breakout hit, the Enclave. Now, in addition to the successful LaCrosse and the positively received Regal, the brand will add a compact luxury sedan, called the Verano. It’s based off the Chevrolet Cruze, but it gets its own exterior and interior looks, according to Cars.com senior editor Joe Wiesenfelder. It also has a more powerful 2.4-liter engine and unique features, such as a heated steering wheel, to distinguish the Verano from its Chevrolet sibling. But is it enough to keep this GM vehicle away from the dreaded rebadge label?
