Looks like: Corporate dullsville hits the convertibles, too
Drivetrain: Likely the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder in the current Eos
Hits dealerships: Spring 2011
Volkswagen announced today it would show its redesigned Eos hardtop convertible at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show in November. Along with the images above and below, VW confirms that the new corporate grille is made up of “three shiny black louvers.” The headlights also have LED daytime running lights, which we assume are available on higher trims like in the new Jetta. The rear taillights are also LEDs, and that’s for the entire range.
We’ll learn more about any powertrain changes at the show, but VW says there is an updated instrument panel with a color display and an updated version of its park assist system. The keyless entry system also adds the ability to close and open the roof via the key fob, but that is likely an option or available only on higher trim levels.
