America’s second best-selling midsize sedan, the Nissan Altima, faces some stiff upcoming competition from the 2013 Ford Fusion and 2013 Honda Accord. Nissan won’t be caught flatfooted, though, as the redesigned 2013 Altima offers a lot of features for family-car shoppers, according to Cars.com editor Mike Hanley. The new four-cylinder motor offers best-in-class fuel efficiency at 38 mpg highway, and the elevated rear seating position give backseat passengers decent headroom and legroom.
