The recall affects vehicles equipped with a 5.0-liter gasoline engine. A fuel-tank fuel-outlet flange could crack and result in fuel leakage, creating a fire hazard.

Jaguar will notify affected owners and dealers will replace the fuel-outlet flanges at no cost. The automaker expects to begin the recall by Dec. 7.

Concerned owners should call Jaguar at 800-452-4827 or NHTSA’s vehicle safety hotline at 888-327-4236 for more information. They also can go to www.safercar.gov.
