The problem: Vehicles may exhibit intermittent operation of Intelligent Key, resulting in the vehicles’ hands-free functions not working (for example, the vehicle will not start or the doors will not lock or unlock). This is due to a faulty battery and negative electrical contact inside the key.
Corrective action: If scratches are observed on the negative side of the Intelligent Key battery, dealers will replace it.
Warranty info: Intelligent Key battery replacement will be done free of charge under the Infiniti new vehicle limited warranty.
