The problem: Affected cars may exhibit a whining noise from the drivetrain under light throttle at speeds from 30 mph to 50 mph. This may be due to a faulty rear engine mount and transfer case support crossmember, where it connects to the vehicle frame.
Corrective action: Dealers will replace the rear engine mount and transfer case support crossmember.
